Usually if a company claims about Trademark ciolation with other there are legal departments involved... they chase each other and after several month (very fast) or several years (normal) there will be made a decision from court....isn`t it !!

This new Version is real big improvement in terms of Quality and at least for the Resolution we can see on the Screens even the new Version on a 22 Inch Screen is better as on my Notebook with I think 15inches.

Tough for online ADs Display and Video it would be already good Quality...but this will come after the RAW Engine.

HD is 720 pixels wide and 30 frames per second. We already offer that - our top quality is 960 pixels wide and 30 frames per second.

It requires 4 Mbps and a machine that's not more than about four years old.

The video quality is also affected by our compression algorithm and rendering. We're at a slight disadvantage in that we rely on the browser to render, so we can't use some of the tricks Flash has, such as using the graphics card to interpolate the blocks. We have a few tweaks to our compression algorithm that should show a big improvement.

I think there is an issue with our CPU and bandwidth detection when latency is bad (too many router hops) - this should be fixed shortly. The symptom is that you'd see lower quality than is possible for your connection.

Two years ago DSNY and UMG announced the new contaract in April I believe with a contract date of 24 month....nothing happend everyting is inline with Universal.

Also it doesn`t look at all that UMG is going to stop this as there is NO GLOBAL COMETITOR around who can solve this Problem for UMG...not talking about watermarking and security.

Also more and more new countries appear on the statistic, why should UMG still roll out to more countries if they even would consider to terminate this relationship ??

I believe the last contract was a contract in favour of UMG and this was the misstake now with Dale and Karen on board I expect this not to happen again.

If you hear increasing usage of PlayMPE of 80% in one quarter but no Revenue increase at all....nothing to add in which favour this contract has been.

UMG worldwide is a big oganisation which changes only very slow that`s the nature of such big old structures.

Only one Chance to break this is

Minimize the free sends and more important increase the Minimum contract fee Quarter by quarter by 20%, then there is a Need for UMG to increase the usage otherwise why should somebody push the employes to Change their behavior.


Bottom line I don`t see any risk with the customer itself it is only about negotiating from a strong confidence of the System and the Need for UMG.
