HD is 720 pixels wide and 30 frames per second. We already offer that - our top quality is 960 pixels wide and 30 frames per second.

It requires 4 Mbps and a machine that's not more than about four years old.

The video quality is also affected by our compression algorithm and rendering. We're at a slight disadvantage in that we rely on the browser to render, so we can't use some of the tricks Flash has, such as using the graphics card to interpolate the blocks. We have a few tweaks to our compression algorithm that should show a big improvement.

I think there is an issue with our CPU and bandwidth detection when latency is bad (too many router hops) - this should be fixed shortly. The symptom is that you'd see lower quality than is possible for your connection.
