We have morphed into 2 different groups, McM. I appreciate your posts and from what I have learned you are from STL area. I'm from Edwardsville IL and my Mom lives with my wife and I due to this calamity that affects so many. Reasonable discussion is a good thing as is done here, but we don't tolerate the bashing. Criticism is a good thing, but bashing isn't what we believe in a for such a good thing (A2-73). To be honest, I really don't understand why you were expelled from the original group, but that is neither here nor there. Some are in this for the $, while others like you and I are in it for the treatment to help our loved ones, and some a combination of both. For me, I'd give up all of my avxl shares to get my Mom back.
BTW. Some of your thoughts/analysis have been discussed/shared there.
We would love for you to crossover to one of several FB groups that are out there. Interested?
Interesting link from someone on stocktwits.

WOW, is all I can say. Bravo!!!!
But the person's post from SA made it sound like he got $11M in compensation in 2016, which is mostly true. However, $8M was based on something that he may exercise in the future, but not at an expense to the company, if I'm not mistaken. Except for the fact, that it will dilute current shareholders, but add cash to the companies coffers.
$8.5M of that compensation was the value of the options that were granted. $305,000 was his salary and the other $2.3M was the company paying/accruing for the "taxes" on his option award. And, if I'm not mistaken, when he exercises those options, the company will receive the amount of shares purchased times the exercise price as income. It dilutes the outstanding shares, but if the price is $100/share, do we really care? He only wins if the share price is above the option price.
Unless someone's hand is in your pocket or yours in theirs.
Because they ain't got $hit. What a former printing company, 7 employees, no equipment on the Balance Sheet, small number of patients. they know their time has run out. Only a matter of time. It's pretty pathetic if you ask me. Too obvious.
Maybe because the SEC is watching or Big Brother?
Like I said, someone is going to open a can of whoop ass on that MF'er one of these days, and I'll be laughing my A$$ off.
Yep, and I bought more today. thanks for the push down to whoever.
And one of these days, someone is going to give him some of his own medicine in a good way. What comes around, goes around.
$500M compared to Axon and the drug they have and what we have? We are pennies on the dollar compared to that POS. Who's keeping us down? Why? Who has a vested interest in making sure we fail? Burying us? This ain't rocket science. We s/b 5x that BS.
Our results should certainly get some kind of expedited process from the FDA. If not, I can see a lot of pissed off ppl contacting them relentlessly, including me.
I'm with you Mr Ed, except I have fewer shares and my Mom needs this ASAP!
Thank you, neiu
Our cash position was increased by $8.1M after the quarter ended. The question is, how/where did we get $8.1M after the quarter ended 9-30-16.
Several attorneys in the family, some of which own avxl.
Yes, I would, just like the jagoffs that filed the suit when it went down.
I'd file a lawsuit against the company if they sold out for $30/share.
Mc, I appreciate your posts, but have you ever thought that maybe it took the drug 6 months to kick in, or crowd out the DZP? Also, maybe the ppl on low dose took longer for the drug to be effective. Just thinking out loud.
I believe the last patient to get in the trial was September 2015. Others started earlier, like around January 2015 (again, I believe). So some have been on the drug for almost 2 years (unless they dropped out). So, I suspect our good Dr. knows a lot more and how the drug is working past 52 weeks, AND I BET IT IS PHENOMINAL!!!
Sometimes a blind squirrel will find a nut, but while he is a squirrel, he ain't blind so I don't see him changing his tune.
I saw that someone said they took it down. I have the link, but it stopped working about a week ago or so.
Great post Whiskey and thank you again for pointing out avxl to me about 1.5 years ago on the nviv ymb. I owe you big time!!!!!
Thank you. The thing that really pisses me off, is the fact that this drug has a great safety profile, and so far, great efficacy. The fda should get off their ass and do something. This is a fricking nobrainer, as nobrainer said earlier today.
The amyloid hypothesis is dead.
And they all increased their scores. That $hit doesn't happen with ppl with ALZ. Wish I could get this for my Mom NOW!
Examples of MMSE Strong Responders graph and there are 6 of them. Of course, we don't know if they are the mono-only patients. However, all of them increased their MMSE from their original scores.
It's a few slides past that, slide #30
Axovant is a "leading clinical stage bio"? Since when?
They have an MS drug approved in Canada. I assume that is why it is up.
Great post falcon! w/b better if you had a 69 in that handle.
AF is a jagoff, and his demise will come when he screws the wrong person.
I'm not sure I follow the correlation between a secondary and the admission of the molecule being useless. Have other biotechs done a secondary in the past only to discover that there molecule was worth something more than being useless? I get the spreading risk part, just don't get the last part.
Wouldn't a secondary be better than splitting the pie with someone else?
Seems to me BP will be tripping all over themselves to get in on this gig.
I don't think AVXL has ever had institutional investors on a call in the past, or maybe none cared in the past. They must have something to discuss if they specifically mentioned that in the PR. IMO
Thanks frrol, I didn't catch the "group" part. And they are showing continued improvement. Sometimes I don't see the forest through the trees, or is it vice versa.
Because they ain't got $hit!
