Too many hippies here loaded with power and $$$. That was just inevitable!
Exhausting day yesterday...Just resting here for the next leg up!
And we close less than $18???
When do they report earnings???
What a beautiful chart!
The last of the 16's tomorrow, me thinks!
Someone got this on a leash at $16.88...
CRICKETS sounds!! OMG! I sleep good with my investment here KUSH!
Hmmm, there ya go, I think you kicked em out guys. I just heard the door slamming!
Can you guys explain the lock out period pls?
Here's a mini dip for ya!
Now they only need the East and West of California.
I guess I misinterpreted this phrase. California is a long state, mostly North and South. East and West of California is mostly farm lands or the Coast, LOL!
I listened to Lustig's vision early of last year. I had no clue they would work this fast. This is going to be a huge contender in the US market, no doubt!
Don't need the East & West of CA when you got CALIFORNIA! This is one state, they will be all clamoring for and ORHOF managed to control 75% of it at this time, possibly more? They are taking these brands to Canada and the rest will follow. Nevada NEXT!
Yep, that's the thing...how long will it take? I know of a company that have established themselves as a brand and had been working with medicinal part of MJ, even crossbreeding a strain of MJ with industrial hemp long before XXII even began their botanical genetics program. I'm sure there are others. If they got something substantial, they should partner with someone like GWPH or a pharma company to get it going than their snail pace projects that may become obsolete again. Ticktock Henry, James and Co.
Or, they want to replace him with someone that is more positive on the cannabis side, not just tobacco. We shall see!
Sadie! Make us proud! Now were online too! Awesome!
He may have gotten some death threats...
Ahhh, where can I get a shirt like that? I want one, but don't wanna wrestle anyone for it, lol!
yup! gotta love that low volume but climbing trend...unless M&M's are just doing their thing!
I dunno where you are going with this. You were the one who questioned and made a deal about what hemp or pot means. Now you question again on why scheduling 1 was warranted? Google it yourself. My ancestors had these just in our back yard and used it on my wounds as a child. Too bad this country placed such a bad rap against it while they secretly fund other countries to study this mighty plant. Lots of things are going on with questionable motives, and it is mostly about money which is really sad. I've been a believer in legalization of this since the get go, especially the medical side of it.
Showing it off to celebrities wasn't good enough marketing for you?
But if they partner with a big name in the business to hurry these things, then we may have a big upside. Whatever it is, they need to just get going and hurry the __ up!
Check out # 3 to 6...that's what he was referring to. Note, NONE is completed except the "no longer necessary" #1. This space is quickly evolving. That 2 year window is not guaranteed. And that just applies to US hemp. Other countries are already using hemp to make cars and houses, etc.

Here's the transcript: please tell me if I'm interpreting it wrong...

Yes. Thank you very much for taking my call. My question has to do with the competitive situation in your hemp business. You, many times, have pointed out that you have -- you believe you have the only zero or close-to-zero nicotine tobacco.
But are there other companies that actually can safely make hemp that has zero-THC? Or I mean, how -- what is the competitive landscape in that part of your business?
Thomas James -- Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
So, Paul, this is Tom James. I'll answer that question. We, in 2017, two years ago, decided to go after the low- to no-THC plant because at that time, the 2014 Farm Bill did not allow for crop insurance to farmers. So if their crop grew above the legal limit for hemp, they called it growing hot.
They'd have to destroy their entire crop, and so that was a problem. So we came out with a zero-THC as a solution to that. The 2018 Farm Bill cures that problem by allowing crop insurance for farmers to a zero-THC plant is interesting still, as we say in our 10-K, but it's not as positive. There needs to be other agronomic traits of robust cannabinoid profile or higher yield, things of that nature that make agronomic sense.
So there are other people that would like to say, "Oh, they have come out with a zero-THC plant too." And again, that's scientifically interesting. It's two years behind us and they would like to try and get rare cannabinoids, they're again behind us. And so there are people that are going to come out and claim a whole lot of things, but we know what we have and we've publicly stated what we have and we'll continue to say when appropriate the things that we achieved. Not before because, as Henry said, we don't want to give a road map to our competitors as to where we're going.
We will state once we've achieved where we intend to be. So you could take comfort in that.

So is it safe to say that there's a fair number of potential competitors and you've got a couple of years of head start. That's your, I would say, competitive advantage. But this is really a race in its early days for -- on the hemp side.
Thomas James -- Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Yes. Don't take the zero-THC as being competitive or a race somewhat now. That's an interesting scientific plant. But again, after the 2018 Farm Bill, it's -- you need other agronomic qualities.
And we think we're substantially ahead from a number of players that are involved, and when we are ready to publicly announce, we'll let people know why we feel that way.
POT is NOT HEMP! (I just used "weed" as a slang)
Forgive me if I am in error with regard to lowering THC in the hemp plant. Lol... Pot is hemp!

Can You Get “High” Off Hemp?
“Your lungs will fail before your brain attains any high from smoking industrial hemp”
They haven't reported Q4, and this will include their RVR revenue closed back in October if I'm not mistaken. Awaiting on that. The future is bright! The company is executing in all fronts. Most of us here don't trade this one, especially when you got in the lows. Don't think it will ever dip that low again unless of course the whole market crashes. Not concerned of dilution either. They also just did a buy back not too long ago. As long as MJ remains a schedule I, this will not go to the big boards. But partnering with someone huge is very possible.
Didn't you listen to the CC? The low THC weed they completed is no longer needed due to the farm bill passing (I have questioned that myself as well, and Henry confirmed it during CC). Well, that is why they are doing more research...back to the drawing board in bettering the qualities of their hemp seeds...crap! How long will that take? And claims they are in talks of other companies globally? As far as hemp? This will take more time (OMG!) Then the tobacco side? IDK why we are still all here really...I can't believe I just said that...except that he mentioned they have something coming up the next few weeks! Then the MRTP et al.
He says he sold, now wants our input? WHATah!
I may have to agree with you on that! XXII is truly for long term investors ONLY!
I may have to agree with you on that!
Hmmm, some of these updates may make me stay around awhile!
Though the legal CBD space is relatively new, it is already crowded. Only the highest quality, most loved products will survive.
There you go folks!

Someone already brought that up, but who's paying for these lawyers? Looks like they represent some jokers who can't afford a lawyer! BT????
LOL! I hope everyone gets their questions answered tomorrow.
Agree, Unfortunately, it was preached like a gospel. This generation is smarter than the old though!
There are other industrial uses of hemp that the country should be excited about. It is a miracle plant!
Very Nice Darth! We should send that off to all the massess...
Is that all they have to say??? Is that all you cared to ask IR? Any other word about this FDA issue? Wow!
When is the next CC?
Yes, Henry and Co., wake up!
What a crock of ___!!!! This is his flagship passion. There is more to this reason kids! Stay tuned! News casters are stunned by the news because it came hours after he just came on TV against the youth ecig issue. He may as well be dropping the ax before leaving I say, because this excuse is the silliest excuse I've ever heard.
"It's is hard for me to write this note to share with you the news that I'll be leaving my job as the Commissioner of Food and Drugs in the next month. There's perhaps nothing that could pull me away from this role other than the challenge of being apart from my family for these past two years and missing my wife and three young children," says the letter, which the FDA tweeted.
