I expect progress tomorrow. That strangely timed PR better not overshadow any announcements Tuesday. If there is nothing tomorrow then what motivated the PR? There have been big upgrades to marketing and there should be something to show for it if Steipp's contention that we're ready for primetime is truthful. If there's nothing tomorrow then I start to worry about our product. Clinging to Visser is getting a little old.
Question: Is anybody using a Mac, OS 10.8.x with Safari and able to get this ihub trades page to work?
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=trades&symbol=LQMT
Seems to come and go and currently hasn't been working for a few days. I've tried it in Chrome with same result. I get L2 in Streetsmart but I like the ihub page.
Thanks
No insider action here- nope. Martha Stewart, please call me.
Watts doesn't post here any more. Found a much better board.

The more I think about it. A few grams of LM wouldn't have a chance with several pounds of hard steel behind it. It would get crushed.
I should've looked. I assumed the agreements with Engel & Materion would be similarly limited, perhaps at Apple's insistence.
I was corrected about this on a few occasions:
"Under the manufacturing sublicense component of the Visser MTA Agreement, the Company has agreed to engage Visser as a perpetual, exclusive manufacturer of non-consumer electronic products..."

I'd love for you to demonstrate this doesn't preclude income from Apple manufacturing by our partners.
I wonder if this Nike product got Apple's juices flowing. I notice there is no Android App- just iOS. My daughter in law has this and it's about as cool aesthetically as anything I've seen. The small black band with scrolling text is stunning.

Real revenue and this dog could hit a buck. Real profit and we could be back on Nasdaq without a R/S. And all the shrewd analysts will have data to set unrealistic targets. We'll know we've arrived! Wee...WeeWee... Weeeeeeeeeeeeee
I would not pay even 10% more for a Liquidmetal wedge and I love Liquidmetal.
Still puzzled with the little stop gap PR with the CC days away. Drumming up interest for the event? If they repeat the same "news" Tuesday will it disappoint?
Interesting and an easy read:
Liquidmetal Design Guide
Help!!!!!!!!!
Not being familiar with these agreements (and having trouble even finding the contract) I was looking for a revenue stream from the partners, not Apple. I finally found the MTA.

Settles it for me. -Thanks
I do not follow your reasoning, LQ. 1st of all, Visser can do work for Apple but if he does, no revenue will go to LQMT. I quote from the Q3 CC:
Quote:

Now, can VPC also manufacture for others?
Tom Steipp - President & Chief Executive Officer
They are not precluded in their agreement for manufacturing for others.
Materion is not precluded from providing the alloys to Apple (who also owns the rights to the alloys), nor is Engle precluded from making machines for Apple. So where do you see revenues flowing in to LQMT from Apple products that contain liquidmetal alloys?
Should Apple produce a liquidmetal device, the stock will bounce again... to what level I have no idea. But it will fall back down as soon as people realize that LQMT will derive no revenues from the product.
Ah... so sorry for not understanding. I never heard of Obama and just assumed he/she was a popular person in your country.
LM, it was the source of the quote that led to my disinterest.
Quote from President Obama's State of the Union Address last night: "A once-shuttered warehouse is now a state-of-the art lab where new workers are mastering the 3D printing that has the potential to revolutionize the way we make almost everything. There's no reason this can't happen in other towns."
Does anyone else find this interesting?
It's nice to know he has no skin in the game (not even at 8 cents per) - or is it?
Why 167 million shares is not enough is something beyond my ken.
Apology accepted.
Time for a fine scotch!
+1 to all that.
Thanks for the wakeup LM. We've all read many "Risk Factors" that disclose everything from limited funds to navel lint. I think it's an SEC required disclosure and CYA and the right thing to do. I'm not sure if I buy into the "young man's stock story."
watts is absolutely right. Insiders are trying to buy this stock at .05 cents a share at the cost of investors like us. They know the price will rally back to 10 cents after a few announcements.
Anyone notice the daily RSI vs this stock? Pretty good predictor.
1/30 I purchased today my newest lot of 10000 shares of LQMT at 0.97.
1/31 I am so unhappy that I didn't take a tremendous loss at 60 cents or 40 cents and exited this stock forever. This is my current attitude.
Joking. Nobody knows. This board was discussing nuance at .30 not too long ago.
Looks like I will finally be able to get my .07 soon
This thing is going thru dilution, tardy product orders, manipulation, etc. but we're all still here talking about Apple today for some reason. If the price drops to .01 my periodic 20k purchase will be $200. Better than buying 200k shares and pissing away another couple grand.
Hey, you're cracking me up too.
I've changed tactics over the last few months. I think our little penny still has the same price upside but damn it's going down. Rather than cost averaging down I'm quantity averaging down. Feels better in the current scheme.
You're right of course. Earlier in the week it was said that a certain famous poster was irascible but never irrational. The subject agreed. I disagreed. I'm done.
My take is LM insiders and outsiders are on different schedules and therein lies the rub. I just don't think any of this approaches "young man/old man" status
I can only restate what Steipp told me at the June ASHM in which he said this is a young man's stock and not an old man's stock.
Poop Deck Rally tomorrow?
This company, and these alloys, are in their infancy. The potential is enormous!

I hope nobody here signs a Faruqi/Faruqi class action agreement thinking it's a way to counter dilution.
