Any further or current dilution from Parent company does not as directly affect GLBL or TERP...And contrary to any beliefe that if in the extreme case Parent company closed its doors - Yieldcos would continue ON and be better off...If SUNE where to, "short term," cancel VIVINT and/or announce some sort of change in management - all 3 entities would see their pps gap up considerably.
There are some good things one can say about the yieldcos. Their revenues are not as subject to the vagaries of the commodity energy markets. For the most part, they are based on contracts with investment-grade counterparties that stretch out up to 20 years. And the shareholder and bondholder rebellions are forcing some of the parent companies’ managements to show a bit more fiduciary responsibility than they have in the past.

Also remember, the better the Yieldcos do (GLBL - a steal currently with a hefty dividend yield & TERP)the better their parent company does.
Yup..I believe bottom is in.
WRONG..IVESTORS will eventually be seeking alternative sectors to play the Market in an uncertain market environment, like Gold stocks, Green stocks and probably Utility...
its the Market today....and flipping here between 3.70 - 3.60... very good buy any where under $4.10
kinda quiet here but NOT for LONG...
Considering the Market - SUNE Holding up fine...Couldn't resist buying more of GLBL at under $4....
Welcome > SUNNYLAND
What makes you say it's almost over, do you know how much they have dumped so far?
Maybe it sees $1.40 again.
Not so sure...WHY THE FALL YODAY?
Fyi,,,dont believe most of what you read in SA, good or bad...Stock price doesn't lie my friend.
Well,,,,you can thank the Management, or lack there of for this mess....no telling where this ends up short term..
You see this kind of truck all the time in the OTC...they release any kind of news ,even fluff, durring Dilution.
Tobb,,,if I'm not mistaken , this is the 3rd offering (dilution) . am I wrong?
That Gold Spike today up/our of the low 80's lookin awfully Bullish..reason being I believe is the continued uncertanty in Overall MARKET plus the fact that the Market last 2 year's is now way over bought and will see much more of a correction than it already has since the first of the year...I believe smart money knows this and are just now starting to LOOK at Gold as a safe haven ....Stay Tuned.
GLWT 2OUTS I.E. 2.86...
Why was it halted ? I don't think it dropped enough to normally get halted?
Correction - 4th paragraph
Look at the first sentence in BOLD lettering, 5th paragraph..... Duh !
And speaking of management, they are the reason SUNE is in the spot it's in now ! Management needs a changing of the Gaurd ! If NEWS ever came out about new management ,,,this thing would RUN hard! Mark that !
I agree....if you dont play dilution right it can be your undoing....most diluted trades never make it back up where they were before dilution and many once dilution has been used as a last desperate tool go under eventually...will SUNE,,,not if this is all the dilution they do...if more follows this trade is finished....will have to see what management does won't we...
Yup...it was no secret this was going to see Dilution...We are seeing its Beginning now.might add that during this phase, don't expect any pops to the upside and as it looks, this will continue for some time at the gradual rate dumping has been..maybe eventually they will dump in bigger lots and speed this up? Buying into dilution for all intense and purpose is fruitless.
Those Hedgies sold most likely when this went under $5...works both ways ya know....
106k on the bid at 3.30 evidently was a sell or it was diluted into cause it went to 3.29 instead of UP.
So there's a buy out your saying? Usually theres a PR out Long before such rumors ....Hmmmm ?
they diluted into it in other words (that huge 300k bid)- they were diluting gradually today in the 3.30 range.....it wont stay gradual much longer.
Any time you have as much as we saw on the bid (300k+) and it didn't have much affect,,,,,isn't a Good omen....just sayin
? Gold seems to be dropping not going up.
Especially SUNE...and it's leading that bear market in betting...
Yup,,,and anyone wondering why that bid hasn't moved up....dilution has started, duh.
If they are released soon rather than later (?) we all will know ;)
$$$$ A MUST "READ" $$$$ http://www.zealllc.com/2015/goldtrhc.htm
Gold's behavior in past Fed-rate-hike cycles. Before this one, there have been 11 since 1971. Gold's average gain through the exact spans of all of them was 26.9%, an order of magnitude higher than the stock markets! Gold's average gain in the majority 6 cycles where it rallied was 61.0%, and it only saw average losses of 13.9% in the other 5 cycles.
During the last Fed-rate-hike cycle running from June 2004 to June 2006, gold powered 49.6% higher. That was despite the Fed more than quintupling the federal-funds rate to 5.25% through 17 consecutive rate hikes totaling 425 basis points. Gold thrives the most in Fed-rate-hike cycles when it enters them near secular lows and they are gradual. And both these conditions happen to be true in spades today.
Could be kinda high....I do think hold bottomed weeks ago though...
Just got in at 1.93....
Yup...and that Thoery of 3.52 holding is obviously bad advice...
Agree...I don't listen to everything Alpha says (actually very little) bit you can't argue with his piece on note holders and dilution...
Those are now facts....good post.
