tangerine-
PM me your email. I have the free subscription to Ihub but have a couple of questions for you.
I love the volume. I actually think this is a big buyer trying to get in this week, more than a motivated seller. With the knowledge of the upcoming catalysts, the properly networked buyer can be building a 1M share+ base before news hits. I have no information to support this, so take it for what it is worth, but I believe this is someone from HK purchasing shares. Look at the MM they are using, TEJS. This is primarily a commodities trading MM who works with international clients. Again, I have no evidence to back this up, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Overseas investors are typically not as fearful of the SEC as they should be, because they perceive their reach as limited.
I sure would enjoy the sound of gordon's tweety bird about now.
Because it has been discussed to death. For a year and a half. It is not affecting Elites ability to do business. Go back and look at the hundreds of posts on this issue.
That would be an amazing partner. I wonder when we will hear more detail about who the HK partner will be and what products ELTP will be making for them.
We need to print some .11s and then the move back up will begin. This run last week began at .11 so it will bounce back up once we hit that level.
Today is just backing and filling which is very important to keep the move upward going.
I don't know if this is significant or not, but this Tuesday, September 18th, is 180 days since they entered into the agreement with the HK pharma company.
Cargo, that is very interesting that some digging by different people led to the same potential company. Now that it is not the middle of the night, my head is a little clearer and I see that Elite would not be exporting any drugs to Hong Kong. However, i do think it is likely that the Branded, Prescription product is a brompheniramine phenylephrine product. That product does not currently exist in the U.S. And according to the PR the Hong Kong based company will supply the formula and submit a NDA application for this new brand name prescription product.
The reason why this makes sense to me is that pseudoephedrine has really fallen out of favor, and as Elite is looking looking to get the brompheniramine product back on the market, combining it with phenylephrine is the next logical step. However, if Advance owns the international patent for the brompheniramine phenylephrine combo, then Elite would not be able to manufacture that without an agreement with the patent holder.
If that is the case, then Elite would have been the one contacting Advance about the manufacturing of the drug, not the other way around. Puts a whole new spin on it for me.
Again, I could be totally wrong, but this seems the most ikely scenario for me.
All right IHubbers, this is my GUESS for who the Hong Kong Based Pharmaceutical Company is. This company is a private company that has been in business for more than five years and is based in Hong Kong. They have fulfilled the WHO standards for Good Manufacturing Practices for pharmaceutical products.
Advance Pharmaceutical Co, Limited
http://www.apc.com.hk/index.php
However, the main reason I believe this could very likely be the company is the following:
http://www.apc.com.hk/products.php?cat=9
Their products Natsin, Naseco-F, Sinulax, Rhinobol Antihistamine Capsule, and the Nasalax Capsule are all BROMPHENIRAMINE BASED PRODUCTS.
Folks, this is the Chinese Lodrane family of products.
Instead of adding pseudoephedrine (which is was got it pulled from the shelves here in the U.S.), they add phenylephrine.
If you remember, Sudafed got yanked form the shelves because druggies were using it to make homemade meth in their basements. It was replaced with the safer and harder to abuse phenylephrine (Sudafed PE).
This is totally in line with this company's philosophy of developing abuse resistant medications that are safe and effective in treating pain and various ailments.
If you were a Chinese company, looking to expand your ability to manufacture pills to serve a population of over a billion people, where would you turn for help? How about the company in the U.S. that manufactures the exact same product? Seems pretty likely to me.
I may be totally up in the night (granted it is 2:25 am ET), but these coincidences just seem to good to be just that, coincidences.
Can you imagine what sort of production fees Elite could charge to serve more than a billion possible customers that live in either densely populated terribly polluted cities, or rural areas with a lot of allergens in the air with little to no in home air filters?
It is staggering to think that little ole Elite could be gearing up to serve the largest populated market in the world with their historically bread and butter product.
I would love to get everyone's eyes on this to either confirm or deny that this is a pretty decent possibility.
As always, I still can't believe this is all available to investors for .135 cents a share.
I honestly can't believe that a real pharmaceutical company with a product pipeline like this is available for .14 a share. Amazing. Glad I loaded the boat early. Gonna be a great ride.

With dramatically reduced shorting and strong longs tightly holding their positions, there is a real demand for shares which is really pushing this pps up.
I have to say, I really was not expecting a close above .14 this week. If the .14 level holds on low to moderate volume tomorrow, the technicals point us to .17s next week. And if news.....
Been away from the computer today. What a finish. I am glad that not only is the pps holding on low volume and no news, but that the post Labor Day rally is in full swing. If we close above .15 with no news, I think that a new base will have been made. Possibly on account of the lack of naked short selling we have seen since the NITE debacle.
I absolutely love the way this is trading today. Really good consolidation and buying at the right levels. It is definitely helping form a higher base.
Conix, I don't post this much, but I am a huge fan of charts. ELTP is actually my only long term holding. Everything else is a day or swing trade. I have been able to build my core position on the dips, but I really have no idea where ELTP will go on this next round of news as much of what is coming is unprecedented in the stock's history. I don't make any trading decisions based on the "hype factor" that website has, but I am now following it on a few stocks in order to backtest it to see if it is a factor that I should consider going forward. It is likely to just be "noise", but I won't know until I test it.
This is always an interesting exercise. You ever look at hype factors conix?

I was nice to see BUYING into the close instead of painting.
This is quite the EOD run!
They are chopping down that .131 tree....
I was just thinking, "I wish I had a little bird...." Then I remembered, I DO! JT and co. have been very clear that the company is on the right track to profitability this year. Considering the turn around they have accomplished so far in the face of adversity and a really tough uphill climb, I think this horse is healed and ready to run!
Buys outnumber sells 2:1 today. More accumulation going on.

I don't think we will really know unless it breaks out of this .10 to .13 trading channel it is been in for a while. We would have to get to .15 on no news to be indicative of a rise due to a lack of MMs shorting IMO.
3 to 1 buys to sells is great. Agreed we need some news to sustain this rise.
My favorite number of the day is the 640k shares traded. I would like to see us get back in the millions of shares traded per day.
agreed. we want the pps to represent the "real" price.
lol amen to that.
Who am I kidding. I am here in between patients all day. :)
It's lunch here out west.
Come on "power hour." No prints since 14:51:04.
It may be too much to hope for today, but a close at the HOD would give us an extremely bullish long white marubozu candle (open at LOD, close at HOD). That would signal the next leg up is imminent.
The aspect of the current management team that has impressed me the most is that they are more interested in doing things right than just getting things done quickly. I believe that this measured approach will not only make this company very successful and a major player in the pharma industry over the long term, but it will also create value for shareholders that is sustainable and real. I am really glad I invested in this company when I did.
That would be great. I really have no idea where the pps will be, only that it is likely to be higher than it is now!
.1299s finally cleared out. .13s are up with a small bid at .129. I like how this is setting up.
I gotta start practicing!
Now you are posting Gangnam style!
Personally, I really like the way this is rising. Volume is low to moderate, but the gains are a sustainable .002 on average over the last 10 days. If there is no news this week or next, I really don't see this consolidating any lower than .115 next week.
If you are currently using Sharebuilder I found it is very hard to transfer over. The rep at sharebuilder even told me they wouldn't transfer over a penny stock and that Etrade wouldn't accept it anyway. I didn't follow up further, but just kept my long term shares in my sharebuilder account and funded a new account with etrade. Once the pps gets above a dollar, you won't have to pay sharebuilder's ridiculous commissions. This won't be a problem for me since I am planning to hold past a dollar anyway.
I knew there was a good reason why I like your posts....
It would help a lot in some regards. Many addicts who seek prescriptions for pain meds use a portion of the meds themselves and then sell the rest on the street. Checking databases before writing a prescription would help slow the illegal sale of prescription drugs to those who will abuse them through alternative means. Having an abuse resistant technology will likely reduce the number of addicts tampering with the pills themselves. It will take a major cultural shift, though to get people to stop abusing these drugs "legally" (i.e. with a prescription).
