All things considered, my vote would be that lord emu of eGipped paid off Revive, likely using either his sweetheart deal "anti-dilution clause" money or proceeds from all the kazillions he has babs raking in daily. And I bet Revive is not the only entity paid off with his vast funds that you, you and you have donated to the prop emu malak go fund me page yall so generously contribute to. It's a thing of beauty, the unpenetrable bunker the emus have dug for themselves in the badlands of Vancouver, home of the no beef whoppers. They have a gold plated doormat that says "Bring It"
The 1 year chart pretty much tells the story... Price was close to 8 cents 1 yr ago. As time went by, with all the so called Vplm "wins" and rocket Docket judge and trials looking closer and closer and our alway in place "best position ever".....the pps just kept falling and falling. But....but....but...the true long experts know what's going on and keep touting how good everything is and praising the management and telling others to not listen to other sides, other opinions. I call that brainwashing. I call that narrow mindedness. I call that biased. I call that imbalanced. I call that fear. I call it insecurity. I call it seeing everything thru rose colored glasses. I think there will be much disappointment. That said, I sure hope I'm as wrong as can be. I really don't need the extra wallpaper. Where's my 50 cents?
Oh, and don't forget.......vplm never shared the results of the alleged 3 city nodal testing. If I was the part of the organization and after successful tests were done with empirical, blind, positive test results, I most certainly would want to get that info OUT THERE!!! to quell any possibl doubters and it would sell boucoup shares and make a short play of this circus. But....
Hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahhaha! OMG! Thanks for that big laff, I needed that. Immaturity being a new low for this board.......is.........by far and away............THE most ridiculous thing ever posted since the origin of this board. It guaranteed take the cake! It even takes tastykakes! I can't believe you even said that. Is there such a thing as clinical dumbness? (because I don't want to use the term in a name calling context, in a factual context).
No, things are not going well. They are going the usual sideways direction that a fiat share printing/selling, personal insider ATM, goes. And will continue to go that way for many days weeks months and years to come, just as it has since around 2013 (earlier, depending on how you view it). You've been bamboozeled. Taken. Had. Used. Pickpocketed. Would you like to purchase a futuristic screenplay about blue peeps?
I really owe some of you for the sheer entertainment value you provide. Payback is good.
Forgot to mention....
You stating that peeps who simply express their opinion about lord emu of eGipped, are dispicable........shows how words are misused fast and loose

My, my, my, my, my........the ignorance runs rampant and it's obviously virulently contagious re: Vplm...
You've heard of doubkethink and doublesspeak... Here's a new one... Doubledumb. It's been said, by some obscure person, not Einstein, that insanity is defined by repeating the same mistakes over and over and expecting there to be a change. I think that applies as well to seeing the same things said and written about, here, that never come close to panning out to be true, then repeating it, along with others, for the umpteenth time and expecting it to sound viable. That's not very logical, ie, using the same old worn out reasons for why something is strong and valuable, when it is actually weak and non saleable and so far, non win able in court. For the deaf and dumb, the point that it's non sellable and non winable, so far for many years in court.....is NOT a reason why the I claim the patents are no good. It's simply another nail in the coffin. It's just one of the negatives to add to the long list. Just because some idiot out there (not you) keeps saying that I use the argument of nothing has happened for so long, as the reason it won't happen is just another example of lazy, thought bare thinking. I have never said or implied that the long term fail to win, is why it can't win. It's only ever been used in the context of its just one of many connecting dots that show clearly enough to me, that this carnival is just a fiat share printing/selling machine.
Getting back to your doubledumb, I see 2 main points you make as though they are fact but they are not and it's been shown and demonstrating a zillion times why they are not fact, but you still use them as such. It's like using an adjustable wrench for a hammer......oops, now the wrench is broken.
Doubledumb #1.....
You say the patents are indisputably real. Uy-yuy-yuy..... That's like saying that car has wheels or that street sign has a pole. Of course they do captain obvious. They go hand in hand and don't need to be described as "working models". Everyone knows that a car without wheels ain't a car and a sign without a pole is just a piece of metal lying on the ground. When the car has wheels and the sign on a pole, there's no need to explain it and use the fact as a vehicle to make it a better car or a better sign.
In the same vein, a patent is at once, real, simply by virtue of the fact it's a patent. If it wasn't real, it wouldn't be a patent. Furthermore, when the USPTO examiner awards patent hood, that's it.....its now a valid and real patent. And your adding that the fact they are real has been proven out many times, I'm sure refers to all the ptab trials. Again, is nothing more than unessential redundancy. It so frickin simple... When an application recieves patent hood, that's IT! Done deal! It's a REAL patent and a VALID patent.....until it's challenged and made invalid. And 50 million ipr "wins" lend zero additional strength or realness or validity to the patent. The examiner gave it all the validity it needs, nothing more nothing less (unless of course, during a challenge, the owner adds more features and functions to the patent and the Court upholds the additions to be valid. Only in that context, would the patent become stronger.
Additionally, I recently posted, as recently as yest, I think, that in order for the USPTO to award patenthood, does not require a working model that proves it works and/or is effective. So there is your indisputable proof that the patents are obviously real simply because they are patents and that they gained zero power or validity by virtue of the IPRs, thus giving your opening points weightlessness. No substance at all. Those are facts not fluff.
You go on to offset your Vplm pro-ness, by bringing up the insider selling. I honestly don't truly know if it's detrimental to vplm or not, due to the fact that it might simply be perfectly reasonable 10b5-1, something that I brought up and brought out way back near the very beginning of the complaint and arguments about the selling. I did so to help someone who was quite upset, but because the argument goes on and on incessantly, I came to wonder myself, if it's harmful or not. It seems to me to not be very helpful or hopeful for others to keep seeing. But I also can see the possibility that they had little choice but to setup 10b5-1's and obviously, those who do work for the company deserve some kind of compensation. Babs, on the other hand, well let's just say I can certainly see why she has so many up in arms. It don't look good, in the very least and does she have special rights being the spouse?
Whatever the case may be, regards that element, it obviously doesnt do anything to bolster or support the notion of "best position ever".
What I DO know is lord emu of eGipped WAS indeed found guilty of unjust personal enrichment and lack of excercising his fiduciary duties, BY A JURY OF HIS PEERS and the rest of the crew was found guilty as well.
Yes, the egg mix is all ready!
All the blah, blah, blah about validity, value, ipr wins, uspto examiners and all the rest...........yet the pps stays less than fertilizer and still no buys, licenses, real settlements, partnerships, you name it........even as trial dates get closer and closer and all the hype. Plus all the inside selling for cheap prices rather than wait for the big stuff coming, lolol. Any fool could see that a product worth billions and billions and with all it's proven "validity" and looming triple fines about to happen.........that there would be some settlements, sale or licensing. DUH!
They STILL don't comprehend what validity means even tho it's been explained many times.
Does a patent application have to prove its efficacy?
No, an inventor doesn't need to prove that an invention works to get a patent. Instead, they only need to show that they had the idea. However, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) may request a working model if the invention is novel, non-obvious, or defies expectations. A working model can strengthen a patent claim and increase the chances of making money.
_____________
People also ask
Do you have to prove something works to patent it?
An inventor need only show that he or she had the idea; the discovery that an invention is reduced to practice (i.e., actually works) is not required to prove the date or content of the invention.
Yes, but it makes it that much easier to keep listening to the lies and become indoctrinated.
As in the middle east......... As in the media....... As in the BBB.... As in religious scriptures....... As in most schools.... As in advertising........ So too in the voice of Vplm and as Goebbel said....... "lies, lies, lies, lies, lies.....until they FINALLY believe.
Vplm needs to set aside a large fund for counseling, especially come July and Aug. The funding should include some at the psychiatric level, as some are in dire need of drugs which require the MDs+. It's the least they, Vplm, can do...
On 2nd thought, maybe just see that the affected are put on the no fly list and other appropriate watch lists...
The insider selling will of course continue, as always. That's their job after all. The trials will continue to not be. None want trials. They want more shares to sell.
The lies about so called "settlements" will continue to happen and be ridiculous farces, with all monies deposited directly into you know who's pockets. Look for a 10 billion share authorized prolly eoy.
May those who deserve, spend everything own on vplm market shares...
The insiders sell their shares because Vplm was setup to be a fiat, share printing/selling, insider ATM. The patents became the FRONT STORY, once it was discovered that they were bunk. Plain, simple genius. It has worked well for them for all these years. It is the reason why the clarion call announcements, made mainly by Chang via the whopper PRs, were made for 2 to 3 yrs, garnering huge numbers of new shareholders and share sales, was THEN.....totally thrown under the bus with no rhyme, reason, announcement or input/feedback from shareholders. I called it a clarion call because it (those dirty, lying PRs) stated so called facts, which were actually just false enticements and equated to almost a mandate (in its effect) to get the ball rolling for one of the most effective and sophisticated stock schemes ever seen on the otc.
I've been telling you for years that there will be monkey wrenches in the form of delays created by ALL SIDES, incl Vplm, because infringement is not the issue, share selling is and said selling has benefitted not just the core insiders, but the sizable cabal of many supporters. None of these peeps and groups want things to change. They want to be able to continue to buy these fiat shares for a quarter cent or a half cent or whatever blue light special deal they are given, wait their wait, then sell for numerous multiples, or do the options thing. The so called market makers who are participants, do a great job of keeping the pps stabile place to cash in. Not too low so Vplm can maintain its platform status and not too high to set off a selling spree that would spiral into a black hole. So they keep it stabile like George did at the bank in it's a wonderful life, as the mob was ready to pull a Jan 6 on the bank. Hell, 1 poor s/h just said he'd be tickled pink to sell at a nickel. Shame on this mess.
That's why I knew the monkey wrenches would come. They had to and they did everytime I said it.
That's right, you can claim anything you want. I think I already said that. And of course you are free to believe anything you want. So what? Thanks for all the time you give me. I'd release you from my grip, but it's too fun. I'll include an extra autograph for you.
Back at the front, Vplm that is, which is what you don't know how to comment on, due to you undying infatuation with me, the monkey wrenches are by no means exhausted. Many more to come. July and August will be an egg faced festival. Then of course, the goalposts will be moved per the usual tactics. Accept it.....there's at least 4 to 5 more yrs of your time and money to be wasted here. And then, could be even more. No one wants, needs or gives an alleged infringement rats ass about these patents. Trial very doubtful but if it goes there....it'll be as dumb as lord emu of eGipped avatar trials and about as successful as his Granville hotel venture. Stay right here and hold your breath for it.
Back to the ward. Time for my afternoon thorazine.
by the way, good job at developing your name calling skills. You know what they say about name callers, don't you?.....no?..... then just cruise back thru the posts til you find it.
Failed backpedal. Nonsurprising. The fact that you find my take on something worthy of being in a mental institution, is itself insane. I know, I know, now you'll claim you were just kidding about that as well. Or...perhaps you'll stick with it. Either way, is nice of you to reveal how you think. Oh, and thanks for being another fan club member who cannot help but waste your time on a mental patient. Pretty funny so thanks for the laffs. That's big reason for being here. I have the likes of you wrapped around my finger. I'll send along an autograph for you.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the musical judges, hearings, rulings, etc, continue their monkey wrench jobs of muddling and delaying, frustrating and confusing the avg shareholder, of which there are many less now than there were. Kazillion dollar technology can't even muster 2 cents pps, nor a sale, license, lucrative settlement, partnership, or even another "offer", lol, from good ol doc Gil. BUT.......the big mean green fiat share printing/selling machine and personal insider ATM, continues to churn out riches to its beneficiaries, and zippity for shareholders.
Well, gotta run.....back to the ward for my meds...
itistruethatthisstockgeneratesbonafideclinicalheadcases
Except I didn't lose money. I made money with vplm. Of course, you have no way of knowing such things, thus your ignorance shows. I bought in at 2 cents long ago. The price began to rise and I kept buying and buying until my cost basis was close to around 8 cents. Then, as usual for Vplm, the pps slowly but surely plummeted and I wound up deep underwater on paper. I then wised up and began day trading it. Recouped all the paper losses then kept going and and made a very good profit. I still had shares and vowed to never buy this junk again and to not sell unless at 50 cents or more. End of story. It's not supposed to convince you of it's truth, just to show how dumb your conclusion is. I post because I like to post. And because I believe my thoughts on vplm are true and worth knowing or considering. Not here to convince anyone of anything nor to advise on buying or selling, which I think is wrong to do. Also have no need for anyone to believe or not. That's their choice.
Mic drop........on your head. Boom
...and as far as wasting time.......I'm not wasting my time and have many accomplishments and run 2 businesses. You, on the other hand are infatuated with me and look how much time you waste on me. I call that very foolish. You're like my fan club. Want my autograph? Lolol. Only reason you're not yet on iggy, is for the laffs you provide me with. Keep up the good work!
Obviously not a single person here would, had they the funds, buy the patents... Says it all...
mic drop
Oh, and in case there is some lone wolf out there who would indeed buy the patents if he/she had the cash, would you wait for years and allow someone else to grab it out from under you?
Hahaha.......all rhetorical, as it's obvious that no one here, nor any of the alleged infringers, have the slightest need, desire or intention to ever buy out Vplm. The questions are thought experiments designed to show the reality of the farce called Vplm.
It's funny and enlightening how for a long time, no one will even answer the question of whether they would buy the patents or not. Very revealing, answers or not.
1. If you new exactly what a sunspot was, you might see the possible connection. I'm glad that the individuals here choose their own handles and not you. I find it a bit rude for you to tell someone their chosen handle is problematic in some way.
2. Face it, you are attempting to impune the integrity of someone and theirs right and/or motives for being here, while doubketalking your way behind trying to say at the same time, that you aren't. And who are you to be the judge or to question the motives of attendance here? "ALLTRUISTIC?? . Are you kidding me. This is exactly what I mean when I talk about the self appointed, self aggrandised, "true long" elite. Reminds me perfectly of scam artist emu of eGipped, who says he wrote avatar and then walks out on 2 seperate trials he initiated against Cameron, both on the 1st day, after publicly stating he would see it thru to the end. And how he hired his known pimp brother to run his night club and how he then ran that into the ground and BK, and how he has been for years telling everybody how he confounded a cancer research company in Germany that nobody can find any existence of and took the exact same name as an American cancer research company that does exist and he is is not part of it (Thorne biomedical), and how he utterly hijacked the claim of creating Vplm, and getting every newspaper out there to accept and reprint his claim of being the Vplm founder, which he certainly is not and how he is quick to point out allegedly positive Vplm developments but never says a word about the negative developments. How about his awesomely anti shareholder sweetheart deal he carved out for himself and called it the "anti dilution clause" which gave him 40% of everything that came in and then when shareholders were up in arm's about him, so he makes a big shmeal about how he rescinded the anti dilution clause except shortly thereafter when no one was paying attention, he re-instituted the same clause for himself while the lack of any kind of deals and sliding or stagnant pps was the soup du joir.
Your also wrong about patent trolls. Your the only one I ever saw who does not attach a negative connotation to it. Of course it's not illegal but it stifles innovation. Besides, Vplm is not a patent troll anyway. For years I argued that they were until it dawned on me that THAT is only part of their front....what they want ppl to think.. They are not a patent troll because they know their patents are both useless as well as proven to be valueless. The patents are simply the story the scheme was built upon. Anyone with half their brain tied back knows that if they were truly foundational to the operation of voip and worth the hundreds of billions of dollars that vplm actually published they were. Don't bother trying to 2nd guess me on that as I have already posted that documentation before.
No one needs your blessing or permission or to fit any of your prerequisite attributes to be welcome, as welcome as anyone else, to post whatever they please here regardless of your attempts to impune their integrity. If you don't like or agree with what ppl post, sure, you can ask those questions but no one owes you any explanations and it's noneya...
Furthermore, there are more scams than not on otc and if someone has the smarts and the experience to make nefarious accusations known, that's as noble a cause as any of the dumb pollyannish reasons the pro side slings around. I suggest you worry about yourself and if your so annoyed by the points you brought up, how bout not reading or using iggy?
Don't bother telling me why I don't belong here. Don't waste your time.
Well, since I made pretty good money on this stock, that would seen to point to your 1) narrow minded view, 2) your inability to understand the duh simple explanation I've given, 3) total lack of imagination (ok, I guess that could be included with #1) 4) completely wrong in every single post. 5) conclusions that a 5th grader could see are lacking. Well, at least you're consistent with your silliness.... By the way, have you ever considered that I'm not here to convince you of anything. I have no need and I'm smart enough to know you can't really prove anything to anyone he here. So feel free to believe whatever you want. Makes no never mind to me. Why would it? If you're underwater like so many others are, that's too bad. I made my considerable money here long ago when I realized how dumb it was to hold on to shares and began daytrading. After that I stopped buying Vplm for good. And if I can't get 50 cents for my remaining shares, then the hell with them, I'll use as wallpaper.
If you can't discern what's true and what isn't, no wonder you keep getting things wrong.
I posted all about the admonitions being levied against Allbright, as he was working diligently to funnel as many "patent troll" type cases into his lap, about a year or 2 ago. Action was already being taken against him then, to put a stop to it. Of course I was ignored because pro side sees only thru their myopic tunnel vision glasses that have dollar signs painted on, as well as the base need to "be right" about their chosen investment.
So voila! Enter more monkey wrenches......(as I predicted so many times now. It's like shooting ducks in a row).
It's all a front for a well thought out scheme designed to benefit the emu of eGipped, wife and certain, not all, members of the supporting cabal, made up of some bod and possible certain lawyers, judges, investors, etc. There are so many connecting dots, for so many yrs, I find them overwhelming. Proof? No, but all the indicators have allowed me to successfully predict all the many yrs delays, monkey wrenches, musical lawyers, musical judges, endless hearings and legal maneuvering, phantom settlements, curious dismissals, etc etc etc. I also called for another 10 yrs of this BS about 6 yrs ago. It could conceivably go longer.
Has anyone seen my 50 cents?
Promised you more monkey wrenches......
......and once again delivering. I've delivered EVERY TIME!! (well, not really me delivering, it's Vplm doing the delivering.......AND THE COLLECTING!
GO LORD EMU of eGipped!!! They have no intention of selling, licensing, partnering, or winning any ingringement trials. Their ONLY interest is in waking up, going to the mean, green, fiat patent printing/selling machine, then over to their go fund me page, then off to buy as much as they can for cheaper than dirt.....
Well, since I am totally truthful, quite sane and do own lots of Vplm stock, held for many years.......I guess that blows your theory straight out of the water, regardless that you don't believe it. It's only hard for YOU to understand...
I feel for you that you've had your pocket picked for so long. Such is the well known nature of pennystocks, especially ones that are actually a penny or so, the lowly otc, and stock schemes born in the hotbed of scamminess, good ol Vancouver.
dealwithit
The so called rocket Docket proved itself to be just a rock on the end of a dock.
Vplm creates positive looking scenarios in order to hide behind them and uses them to distract you whilst picking your pocket. The know it alls will never admit anything that even looks slightly nefarious and when enough time passes where yall have accepted the lack of anything as normal, then the goalposts get moved so many times, over time, that whereas the promises and the expectations were for boucoup billions, now most would accept like a dime and be happy and many more would be thankful for 15 or 20 cents. Meanwhile, with all this alleged great and positive news, and looming trials and alleged threat of damages coming down hard on heads, still........pps stays close to the embarrassing penny and a half range and no settlements, licenses, buyouts or anything happening. No one is interested in any part of this waste of time.......except the vaunted inside who continue to rake it in for years.
Don't count on it. Look instead, for something more like the previous "settlements"..........you know, like the ones Richy Rich "inYA pockets" Inza said were something the shareholders would like.......and then turned out to be what.....?..... you tell me.
Maybe if you have zero imagination....
It's quite simple and nothing special about it at all. It just takes recognition of the manifold scaminess and the desire to tell the story. As it should be...
That barely took a half oz of imagination. Too funny
It takes a very special person to advise, in fact, beg ppl to go buy this piece of junk....
In the realm of Vplm commentary, those that equate pessimism with toxicity, are mistaken. Name calling, disrespect, hate, are what's truly toxic and mainly to the perpetrators. The overall condition of Vplm seems to help breed it in those who are prone. Pessimism, on the other hand, especially when built upon or partnered with circumstances, apparent or factual, happens to be a healthy way of dealing with things that present as questionable.
Explained by experts in the field:
"9 surprising benefits of pessimism in a world obsessed with positivity
Graeme Richards by Graeme Richards |
March 24, 2024, 8:30 am
Positivity is all the rage these days. But what if I told you there’s something to be said for a dose of good old-fashioned pessimism?
You might be surprised, but pessimism isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it can sometimes be the smarter approach to life.
Pessimism can offer a unique set of benefits that are often overlooked in our quest for constant happiness and positivity.
In this article, I’ll unveil 9 surprising benefits of pessimism in a world that’s obsessed with positivity. Let’s dive into the less explored side of the emotional spectrum, shall we?
1) Reality check
In a world filled with relentless optimism, pessimism can be a refreshing reality check.
Here’s the thing. Positivity is great, but it can sometimes blind us to the harsh realities of life. We may ignore the potential pitfalls in our plans, overlook risks, or even deny the existence of problems.
On the other hand, pessimists have a knack for seeing things as they are – warts and all. They’re not afraid to acknowledge the potential downsides and prepare for them accordingly.
So while optimism can sometimes lead us astray, pessimism keeps us grounded in reality. It’s like a built-in risk management system that helps us navigate life more wisely.
And let’s be honest – isn’t it healthier to acknowledge the bad along with the good? Too much sugarcoating isn’t good for anyone.
2) Better preparedness
I’ll be the first to admit that I tend to lean towards the pessimistic side. And you know what? It’s made me a lot more prepared in life.
For instance, I was once heading for a camping trip. My sunny-side-up friends packed light, bringing only the bare necessities, while I, the ‘party pooper’, packed for every possible scenario – from a sudden downpour to an unexpected cold snap.
As Murphy’s Law would have it, we were hit by a freak storm on the second day. My friends were caught off guard, struggling with their soaked clothes and shivering in the cold. But me? I was ready. I had my waterproofs and warm layers to hand.
Pessimism, in this case, simply meant being better prepared for potential problems. And when things did go south, I was able to respond effectively instead of panicking.
So being a pessimist isn’t always a downer. It can make you the one who has everything under control when things don’t go as planned.
3) Enhanced critical thinking
Pessimism has been linked to improved critical thinking. It turns out, expecting the worst can actually stimulate our brains to question, analyze, and solve problems more effectively.
A study published in the journal “Psychological Science” found that negative moods like sadness can improve the accuracy of our judgments and reduce errors in decision making.
This means that pessimists might be better at assessing situations, spotting potential issues, and finding solutions. They’re less likely to take things at face value and more likely to dig deeper.
So, while optimism might keep us cheerful, pessimism could keep us sharp.
4) Fosters resilience
Life isn’t always a bed of roses. We all face setbacks, disappointments, and failures. And being overly positive in the face of such adversities can sometimes make it harder to bounce back.
Pessimists, on the other hand, are no strangers to adversity. They expect it. They’re prepared for it. And when it happens, they’re not taken by surprise.
This frequent acquaintance with the darker side of life fosters resilience. It equips pessimists with the mental toughness to withstand hardship and come out stronger on the other side.
So, while optimism might promise a smoother ride, pessimism can create a stronger sailor.
5) Appreciation of small wins
Pessimists, due to their tendency to expect the worst, often find themselves pleasantly surprised by positive outcomes – no matter how small.

Instead of taking good things for granted, they appreciate them for the rarities they are. Every little win, every positive outcome, is a pleasant surprise, bringing joy and satisfaction.
This ability to celebrate and appreciate small victories can lead to a more fulfilling life. It’s like finding unexpected treasure in the most unlikely places.
So, while optimism might keep us chasing big dreams, pessimism can help us find happiness in the here and now.
6) Empathy booster
Pessimism, with its intimate understanding of life’s trials, can make us more empathetic.
When you’re used to expecting and dealing with hardships, you develop a greater sense of compassion for others going through tough times. You understand their pain because you’ve been there. Your heart aches with theirs because you know what it’s like.
This deep empathy can bring us closer to the people around us. It allows us to connect on a more profound level, and to offer comfort and support that’s rooted in shared experiences.
So, while optimism might make us happier individuals, pessimism can make us better friends, partners, and community members.
7) Encourages gratitude
There was a time in my life when everything seemed to be going wrong. I was in the midst of a career transition, feeling lost and uncertain about the future. As a pessimist, I expected the worst – that I might never find a job that I love or that I’m good at.
But in those moments of darkness, something beautiful happened. I started to notice and appreciate the small, often overlooked blessings in my life. The support of my family, the comfort of a good book, the joy of a home-cooked meal.
This wasn’t just about finding silver linings. It was about acknowledging that even in the worst of times, there are things to be grateful for.
Pessimism, in its own unique way, had taught me to practice gratitude. And it’s a lesson I carry with me to this day.
8) Greater satisfaction
In a world consumed by the pursuit of bigger, better, and more, pessimism can offer a refreshing perspective.
Pessimists, by nature, don’t expect everything to be perfect. They’re comfortable with the idea that life is full of ups and downs. And this acceptance can lead to a greater sense of satisfaction.
Instead of constantly chasing more, they’re able to find contentment in what they have. They’re not disillusioned by unmet expectations or unfulfilled desires. They take life as it comes, appreciating the good and dealing with the bad.
So, while optimism may fuel ambition, pessimism can bring contentment – and there’s something incredibly satisfying about that.
9) Acts as a protective shield
Perhaps the most significant advantage of pessimism is its protective nature. Expecting the worst can guard us against the harsh blows of disappointment, failure, and loss.
It’s like having an emotional cushion that softens the impact of life’s adversities. When things don’t go our way – which inevitably happens at times – pessimists are already mentally prepared for it. The blow is less brutal, the fall less painful.
This protective shield doesn’t make life any less challenging. But it does make us more resilient in facing those challenges head-on.
Final thoughts: A balance in perspective
The complexities of human emotions and their influence on our lives are fascinating to explore.
One such complexity is the potential benefits of pessimism, an often-overlooked perspective in our positivity-driven world.
These benefits, ranging from enhanced critical thinking to greater resilience, show us that pessimism isn’t necessarily the gloomy outlook it’s made out to be. Instead, it can serve as a pragmatic lens through which we view and navigate life.
It’s important to remember that this isn’t an argument against optimism. Positivity has its own set of undeniable benefits. However, embracing the potential merits of pessimism simply provides a more balanced, comprehensive approach to life.
As the saying goes, “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain.” Perhaps, it’s time we appreciate the showers of pessimism for the growth and resilience they nourish within us.

You could now consider yourself schooled.........or not. It depends on whether or not you look at the preceeding as a pessimist or an optimist or toxic. I'm sensing more on the side of toxic.
Outside of my conclusions about vplm, which ought to be respected by non toxics, I lean on the side of fair and balanced, not to optimism or pessimism. But I am a proud skeptic and I think that's a good attribute to have. Optimism and pessimism are merely states of mind and have no bearing on stock trading.
Hahaha.....so this means you are not able to limit the amount of words you read.... Lololol......that is truly the funniest thing I've heard yet today. If I send you say, a 500,000 word post, will that put you in the hospital? How many words to get you put on a ventilator......i want to make sure not to injure you...
I hope this stuff isn't contagious...
Wait a minute... 1st you post:
"You are just not aware of these celebrations because no one would want to invite you. Just one more thing you are not aware of. We will send you pictures after it after the party is in the books. By then I am sure you will have found another evil management team to persecute. Thanks for the vigilance"
Then about 20 min later you post:
"Also, if we do have a party, I will be sure to invite you, and will be happy for any gains you may have made, or for the fact that this success may chip away a bit at your cynicism."
Are you the same person or are there 2 of you? The 2 posts are diametrically opposed. If you had taken my advice, then it would make sense, but it's beyond doubtful you would take any advice from me, besides, you would've mentioned the fact, if so. All I can say is if you went off your meds, I recommend a restart. If you didn't go off your meds, I advise starting on some...
In any case, I wanted to add that calling cynicism isn't fair. If a person believes something to be true, even if that something is negative, that is not cynicism, it's belief in something, which is a positive thing if they are correct. Cynical, I believe, is not believing in something regardless of the facts. Or thinking that ppl are motivated only by self interest.
Over the years, in PAYING ATTENTION.....I saw that sunspotter always had some kind of underlying facts to support his Vplm sentiments, as I also have. That, friend, is not cynicism. That is at least your 3rd or 4th mischaractization in just 2 posts. Suggests you may be mischaracterizing Vplm as well??
By the way, if by some twilight zone happening, Vplm wins a huge damages award, I STILL would tend to not believe in the patents for my stated reasons. Court could get it wrong. Look at O.J.
Hey! Haven't you heard...this is a happy place. No room for your negativity. It will not be tolerated. This is a sacred place of positivity. Didn't you ever have Pollyanna day at school? In any event, you could at least make sense...ie, Vplm has never made a dime so telling someone they were never told about the parties that never happened makes zero sense. Plus you seem to think that person would want to attend... Such foolishness... Your head must've become crossthreaded upon screwing on. No wonder you believe in the Vplm hype...crossthreaded thinking.
By the way, have you yet answered the question: "had you the money, would you purchase the patent suite"?
I wonder if she knows the number of times, right here, such parties have been planned in the last 10 to 12 yrs? Hint: many.
Probably for the best that they never happen and never will considering the lunacy level of a few and how unhinged they are in real life...
Regardless, it's all just pipedreams, in fact that's what I'm christening the otc forthwith....."the Home of Pipedreams"
I hope there's a miracle but honestly cannot truly fathom it happening here. If there were truly riches here, any number of smart and savvy ceos or investors would've snatched it up long ago, many times over. Moreover, this close allegedly, to trials, and no licenses sold or serious settlements made, shows me the reality. Anyway, enjoy you dreams while your inside the dream as that's as close as you'll get, most likely.
However, that said, I would really appreciate it, if yall could come up with enough super whoppers to drive the pps to 50 cent, that would be very kewl of you. If not, wallpaper it is. No biggie. I already made out good years ago here and have things to show for it as I spent wisely. So, being locked into the black, in perpetuity (as long as I keep my pledge to never buy vplm again, which I have done so for years now), it's que sera, sera on the remaining shares.
Amusing that you don't see the ridiculessness of what you're saying...
Such as......
"would be nice if... ...."
Of course you're free to post whatever you want whenever you want.......
AND........no one has ever forced you to read anything you don't want to hear. Pretty simple, that. And if you can't control yourself in that regard, then they conveniently provide you with a blocking button......
THEREFORE.......what you're saying is not only silly very but ironically, is the very WHINING you spoke of, lol.
I have shared many "updates" as well as facts and opinions, many of which were neutral, thus obviously, you choose to have "selective hearing/reading".
If you think a stock msg board is a place for cheerleaders and pollyanna, it isn't, but you are perfectly free to use it in that manner. Nothing stopping you, you just have a need to bitch about those who don't have the same outlook or sentiment as you. That happens to be a negative attribute. You don't hear me complaining about your opinions, do you? No, you don't, because I believe in tolerance and respect for all posters views. So, you are guilty of exactly what you accuse me of, in principal. Why in the world would you waste your time complaining about stuff that you could easily block if your not interested in alternate opiions and ideas.
Also, I am NOT negative, as you say....i happen to be as POSITIVE about my views on this company as you are about your views.
These are self evident truths which I don't expect you to see or get. Ppl have fought and died for you and me to have the right to freedom of speech, expression and opinion. My observations about this company have been well thought out, scrutinized, dot connected and critically thought and presented here soberly. No one ever twisted your arm and forced you to read anything. Personally, I celebrate yours and everyone else's freedom and ability to express what they think and belive.
"Too bad there are folks on this Board who view it as a place for venting and opining..."
What a crummy, myopic, selfish thing to say. 1st of all, you're mistaking enthusiastic opinions for "venting". Duh. Your enthusiastic pro opinions are also venting. What you really mean is pro venting is ok but negative view venting is not. That, no doubt you can't see, happens to very hypocritical. And you also just called "opining" a bad thing as well, which is an ignorant view. What you meant to say is its too bad if anyone chooses to opine opposite of your view or simply against the company. It's NOT TOO BAD that there, are those here who happen to see this play in a negative light... Its a GOOD thing to be alive, well and expressing WHATEVER one's honest opinions happen to be. It is you, who are being negative, not I.
It would be clearly stupid for me to support that which I have delineated so many things in the perjoritive about this company's player's. And just as, dumb, would be to keep my mouth shut. I have been involved with stocks that had 50x more support than Vplm and for many yrs and also had the vast majority posting pro despite the best information to the contrary, that was served up on a daily basis. In the end, after decades, the SEC shut it down and there were fines and bans, etc. The ppl who had been giving the info about the negative aspects of the company (mostly about the well loved, long term ceo) were ridiculed and put down and hated just like you are prone to, even tho the source of the info was high level inside info (legal inside info).
"you can say what you want.... opine and whine away... but if you OWN the stock, it just doesn't make sense to bash the stock you OWN."
What doesn't make sense, is that very statement. I DO still own stock and my posted info and opinions and theories make perfect sense to me. By saying that, you seem to suggest I have some hidden agenda such as shorting or paid bashing or I don't know what... Its pretty damn simple that I post what I post because it's what I believe and that what msg boards are for, NOT for cheerleading. And any minute effect I might have (very doubtful) on the pps is certainly not hurting me. I wised up about this scheme long ago and began daytrading and made out very well and then vowed to buy never again and still have stock which I deemed I want 50 cents or nothing to sell it. None of that in any way means I shouldn't post what I believe to be wrong with this company, and which you cannot prove me wrong about anything ive said. I have provided tons of documentations.
"I suggest you find another way to get that stuff out of your system and leave the rest of us to update and encourage each other."
How utterly condescending and elitist that is. Maybe that's what you should do if you can't control your reading choices, inability to use the iggy button...
"and finally we won't have to listen to your negativity any longer."
Of course, you don't have to listen it now, previously or in the future. You simply need to be negative.
Ohhhhh...so this is a STOCK SUPPORT BOARD!!! Damn, I didn't know that... I must not have read the instructions. What a dummy I am... here I thought it was for anyone to express whatever they wanted...pro, con or otherwise. Where the hell did I get such a whacked idea? Silly me. It's a cheerleaders site!!! OF COURSE!
Cool!....so the 2017 revision made by Vplm, shown below:
"The newly revised potential maximum total award to Voip-Pal to over one hundred two billion dollars ($102,570,231,360) .
Applying the updated damage award calculation method to Verizon and AT&T, the current damages sought from Verizon of more
than two billion dollars ($2,382,872,100) would in////crease to over seventeen billion dollars ($17,262,042,011) .
The current damages sought from AT&T would increase from more than one billion dollars ($1,804,795,745) to over thirteen billion
dollars ($13,540,863,431). "
..........has, instead of gone up, as it should and would, if the patents were really all that, gone waaaay down from over $17 million to $5 million....
Yup, that will get them lots of added respect from anyone following these "adjustments"...
I expect them to stuff emus wallet, like last time with nothing for shareholders.. It's the eGipption way!
Hey, isn't about time for another Dr Gil offer? Let's go...whoppers wanted. Inquire within...
I know it's from last year but I just came across it...
You score double points on your comment "in my opinion (worth absolutely nothing)". Not only a worthless opinion (your words) but your prediction of a big payday was another big bust. So you get double points because even though you were as wrong as it gets (surprise!) but you were also right about being wrong! (when you said up front about your opinion being worthless). At 1st I thought you were saying Vplm was worthless, which would've made you triple right but you weren't saying that. But it's really cool how you hedge your predictions by prefacing your prediction with an auto-cancel, in case you turn out to be wrong, a tactic you have often used. Wow, what genius! Some of you guys are so friggin smart...
By the way, I predicted long ago that none of these bold positive predictions would come true......and guess what?......I've been proven right, over and over and over.....Anyway, no doubt you'd like to shift your wrong prediction fwd to this time, a year later. So I'll just shift it over for you. It's the least I can do for all the education I get from you way smart ppl. So you dont have to do a thing. You're pre registered for this years big payout days prediction. 😎
It was $.11825, $.45 & $.35.... and the spikes lasted for what, a few moments, before the inevitable heading straight back down as always?
There actually was something bigger than upcoming trial dates, ie, there were actual trials held in courts and resulted in so called "wins" for Vplm. I think it was around 8 of em at the time. They weren't real true wins but just successful defenses of patent challenges and that, along with some heavy duty paid and unpaid pumping drove the short lived spike up. Vppm, unfortunately, has never been able to maintain a price spike, ever.
You would however think, that with these current impending trial dates, apparently straight ahead (if it weren't for them pesky monkey wrenches on the way) along with all the other alleged prior "wins" and the well blindly accepted "best position ever"mantra, that those things would be steadily and surely driving the price up......???........but as J. Belushi used to say:
Where's my 50 cents?
Wow, never heard that one before about Vplm. Better go get the yacht dealer on speeddial...
Totally agree and by that very logic, one would surmise the opposite is true of the big inside sellers......ie, they obviously do not think the price is going up. Who woulda thunk?
I missed the targeted link for the 63 cfos. This is no way assumes or implies anything about the current Vplm cfo, but is only an answer to the question of "would a top cfo risk their career, blah, blah, blah?" It's such a ridiculous straw man considering that history shows that any official of any capacity has indeed bargained and bedded with the devil. And isn't that special? No religious connotation implied, just a figure of speech...
