I think his net worth is considerably more than 300 mil, However, He is a Great Entrepreneur with a string of accomplishments. He has a fantastic reputation for building a "Brand" He is "Squeaky Clean" when it comes to Compliance. Without him I would not be a holder.
He can bring in Business with his fantastic connections to the Movie and Entertainment Industry. IMO

Charles Koppelman is all about "Compliance" and building Brand Recognition. IMO
I recommend that you go on board as a Moderator?
We need this put up on the board also:

Then later I think I remember that Manu said that Charles wouldn't make the Marcum Conference and that he was meeting Charles at his home.
I believe something was going on then.

Charles Koppelman brought Paterson aboard I believe.
Please note:
"As Governor of New York State, I approved over $750M in film tax credits. Film tax credits create strong returns for communities, and generate tremendous job creation," stated Gov. Paterson. He added, "I am committed to helping Charles, Manu, and the Medient team find the resources to make this beautiful dream come true."
He mentions helping Charles, Manu and the Medient team. No mention of Jake by name. When I first read this I got the impression that Charles brought Paterson in.

"Put Your Money Where Your Mouth is"
Remember that line? Well, It wouldn't hurt for some of the directors to buy some down here to show that they believe in the company. I am not asking them to buy it for the book value of about one cent but down here at .002! Sure would show confidence. IMO

Many think the "Totality of all Minds is GOD" I call it "Crowdsourcing". We certainly have a positive "Group Mentality" on this board to be a "Prime Mover" in the Stock! Flippers, quit flipping for a while and stay with this one. A little patience may prove to be beneficial in this stock. Give Management the time to mend the wounds. The bandage has been applied. IMO

yea, I said that we would "cross that bridge when we come to it" but it isn't going to be there now! Ha Ha
Gosh, I miss the Poetry! LOL
Yes, He has tremendous capabilities and contacts in:
Financing, Investment Banking, Legal, Entertainment Industry just to mention a few. Rome wasn't built in a day. He will get this Puzzle put together Pronto! Give him a little time to react! IMO
You have to know that the BOD knows what has been going on the past few days. Hopefully, we will here something in the near term. Our Voice has been heard! Go MDNT!!

Koppelman at the Helm
It's not common to get a person with credentials such as Mr Koppelman has. It has taken years of Education, Work Experience and accomplishment to get where he is now. I have been interested in his background and found this article which may be of interest to you. This guy did it the hard way, from the ground up. I have considerable respect for him. You may have an interest in reading about him and then again you may not care. I am just throwing it out here.

Email sent
A copy of this email is to be delivered to the Board of Directors of Medient Studios.
I am a shareholder of Medient Studios. A Statement was made on the recent CC in answer to a shareholder question relating to whether there will be a Reverse Split of the Common Stock in the future. Jake Shapiro, now new CEO of Medient Studios said "Yes" on the Conference Call. Very recently Manu Kumaran had inferred that the BOD had not even considered such a move. The IHUB Shareholders have been communicating over the past few days and have expressed concern that this move now would not increase "Shareholder Value". Shareholders of Approximately 400 million shares, and still counting, of us are against having a reverse split at this time but not against this in the future when the PPS is substantially higher, construction is arranged, and revenues are coming into the company. I feel that at this juncture the Board should refrain from any actions and look to the future to make such a move. You have a wonderful shareholder base that you can use to help the Company in this development stage. In order to take advantage of this dedicated group of investors I would suggest that you add one of them to the Board as a member that would represent shareholders at Board Meetings.
I am looking to a response.
Sincerely,
He is talking about a construction Loan from a financial institution. They have collateral. They have a change in Management and revising the business plan. They have the land and can probably give the bank {subordinated lease payments to the loan). I am sure that details are forthcoming. They have been working with financial institutions for some time. I believe the loan will come soon, especially with Koppelman and Paterson involved.

email for IR is:
mdnt@crescendo-ir.com
I sent mine to IR for delivery to the BOD of Medient Studios
They may be receptive for a Shareholders Representative to sit in on board meeting. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
Koppelman was a producer of some of Sinatra's Albums.
I like your Chairman of the Board Better Than Mine! LOL
Medient has the Advantage of receiving Fantastic Incentives:
States like CA and NC to name a few have been losing business to Georgia. There is only so much available land to develop large Film Studio Projects like this one! IMO

Gary, I don't know if someone gave you this. You had asked for it earlier. It's on the Medient IHUB Board:
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=62507843
I guess he doesn't like Frank Sinatra! Ha Ha
Koppelman and Frank Sinatra have something in Common!
Frank was and Koppelman is "Chairman of the Board" LOL
First, you left your Cap Locks on and used Bold Lettering.
Second we are already aware of debt and how it has been paid down.
Gary A 1, Hows the Share Count Doing? New people coming on board for the 1st time this weekend. Need to Reiterate your Plan again to get numbers from shareholders on this board.
Can't wait to see how many more shareholders add to the existing count! Many shareholders are not on board because of Father's Day.
Monday should bring many more. IMO
You are absolutely right about that! Good Post!
You are absolutely right about that! Good Post!
You don't need tens of millions to get us from here to when revenue comes in. The tens of millions will be finance by normal construction financing. IMO
Suggest that Medient Studios forms it's Own Crowdsourcing Platform
beginning by concentrating on it's IHUB Shareholder Base
I believe no one understands what's going on in Croudsourcing more than Charles Koppelman does. I have noticed that he has used it to raise money for productions in which he was involved. I won't elaborate because I personally have not done enough research on the subject. I know that the film Industry has been using it recently to raise seed money for productions. Merriman Capital is using it to attract Accredited and Institutional Investors. Why can't Medient do this themselves using our shareholder base. Technology has grown exponentially and Social Media is Exploding. We can see how it works by looking at all of the shareholders coming together on this board! It is just a thought that I had. I decided to throw it out here and see what happens. I don't see why Medient wouldn't be able to raise bridge capital this way to get it over this hump to when the revenues begin coming in from it's productions. Maybe a debt offering with warrants or something like that. Then we could hold off on this R/S crap until it is more beneficial to us shareholders. The Institutions can come in later when we are in a better position to negotiate.

Couldn't Agree More!! Koppelman said on the CC that he was going to use his contacts which he has accumulated over the years! In addition to financing he can bring considerable business into the Studioplex without taking world tours IMO The unbelievable reaction of this board to Gary's Request is just amazing! It's the weekend and many people stay off the message boards on the weekend. I'll bet there is a Billion Shares represented on this board. I would guess that Gary will see about 1/2 of that. Now that would be awful strong shareholder representation!

Nobody really knows what the cost of the First Phase is.
We need to know:
1. What they intend to build
2. Actual Estimated Cost
3. When it will be Completed
They said that they were going to save considerable dollars hiring Shore Development. They must have estimated cost figures in hand.
The last I heard was that the "The Stages" would be completed at the end of the year if they closed on a loan end of July.
We need more information about financing. All of this has been very frustrating for shareholders. We need some updating and transparency. IMO

Gary, that post is "A 1" in my Book!
Success Runs in the Koppelman Family
His son also has had considerable success in the Entertainment Industry:

I think just about everyone here agrees with you Debbie.
I'm sure that all of the longs on this board appreciate your participation. Also, Gary should be complimented on this strong move to communicate our Opinions to Management.
