Maybe we'll see some things happen today.
Well put Joho.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but this stock has NOT been dead for 2 years. We saw a small spike at the end of last year after a failed partnership with Silver Star Holding Company. Before that, MOPN was continually releasing press information. I think you need to do a little research, or maybe you have, and you realize that this stock is the real deal. Now you would like to bash it until the price per share drops to where you can buy in big. I believe you know that this will continue to increase as cleanup efforts ramp up. Also, the MOPN has a new patent for use on land. I think it is also funny that I have not seen you on this board before, and for that, shame on you. Maybe you're kicking yourself for not getting in at .02 and .03 like everyone else here. The people on this board are passionate about this product and are working very hard to get MOP into the right hands and let this thing take off. Good luck with your cause, but I think you're barking up the wrong tree. This is a real company with a real product and real patents.
A tough day but a good one. We held at .11 despite skepticism, bashing, and short selling. This stock proved its strength and durability on a day any other penny stock would have crashed and burned. See you all tomorrow.
If it is then I'm buying a crapload more!
From a post earlier today (I forget who, so sorry I can't give credit where it's due):

When more and more of these environmental groups catch wind, things will definitely be looking more green then red.
Greenhouse Neutral Foundation
Through a contact of the Greenhouse Neutral Foundation via email today we have learned the following:
BP is ignoring the most effective and safest means of locking up the oil in zones around the fragile coastal zones of the Gulf Coast. Here’s a quick demonstration of how MOP (Maximum Oil Pickup) sorbent works and can be deployed using the MOP Cannon. It can be introduced above the surface or blown in from below the surface to grab the oil as it rises to the surface. It is 100% recycled material and 100% biodegradable and safe for the environment, animals and people. Tell BP to USE MOP. Pass this on please. Help us spread the word, this will help and it works.
BP has known about the effectiveness of the MOP Product for more than a decade but repeatedly has refused to acknowledge a letter written by their own employee.

To Whom It May Concern:
SUBJECT: MOP Absorbent Product
During four separate occasions we have had the opportunity to observe the MOP absorbent product’s performance. Three were hard surface spills of various hydrocarbon products (i.e. 30w oil, transmission fluid, heavy naphtha, diesel oil, and other blended heavy sop oils). On each occasion the absorbents picked up all of the products leaving no apparent residue. We mixed water at some sights and the hydrophobic properties allowed the absorbent to hold the products while allowing the water to run free and clean of oil.
The other test was with booms and pillows in shore line fresh water. The booms and pillows performed above the standards established by other booms (i.e.polypropylene). The booms had excellent penetrations and adequately contained the product spill. The material is light weight and more economical than the competitive brands we have used.
We are extremely pleased with its performance and cost, and would recommend serious consideration of this product before using an alternative.
Sincerely,
Randal S. Fletcher

If this stock is such garbage, then why are you wasting your time on this board, or are you here to help warn us all to the dangers of this investment? In which case, I could call you Super Penny Stock Man.
No need to shout (what's with the all caps?). PR will come when they have something to report. I'm sure it will be in the next week or so; let's let the people at MOP keep working on getting their product out there. Until then, we can all help by spreading the word and sending e-mails and clips to everyone that will listen.
I you're in at .02 then what are you complaining about? This isn't going to make us all rich in one day.
Patience! PR won't happen until they have something substantial to report--this is unlike other penny stock companies in that they are HONEST in what they report. I'm sure we haven't heard anything because everyone at MOP is working very hard in trying to solidify its position.
I guess we'll all wait and see...clean up could take years, and even something as simple as these wood chips could be huge. When BP gets the leaks under control, more efforts will be made in terms of clean up. This position may take weeks to see the value in, and I can wait.
The low volume today is an indicator that those with shares are not selling, and those without shares are waiting to buy in in the hopes that the price will drop. I for one just realized that I could have bought 100 more shares of this on what I just spent for lunch. This price is as cheap as it gets, and I think a lot of people will be kicking themselves for having not bought in now. Good luck everyone. This is an investment in our future. In another year, bashers like Dan888 will be buying a bag of MOP to clean his garage floor.
Today is actually working out very well for MOPN; with no PR as of yet, it is still holding at and above a dime. This shows that shareholders truly believe in their product's capabilities and see a very bright future for the company. MOPN can only continue to gain momentum as word slowly spreads--with or without new PR or a signed contract with BP or the USCG. This oil spill will only help get the product into the view of the mainstream, and demand will follow. Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, and True Value will hold the future of this company in terms of its benefits to not just big companies, but also average private homeowners. Liberal Environmental websites are already picking up on what the product is, and before to long, we'll be seeing Charles Diamond on Good Morning America doing demonstrations for the crowds.
As the New Kids on the Block say...Hangin' Tough.
Nice find! When these environmental groups start pushing MOP, we may see some contracts and government action.
Thanks FF7.
Why are we tanking to almost a dime!? People need to hold on.
Thanks MoneyMade, appreciate the info. I'll hang on and maybe get in for a few hundred K more. Been struggling with this stock all night, but seems to be a good buy.
Wow, seems to be a lot of people bashing this one pretty good. I guess maybe I'm one of the suckers today.
Absolutely.
I think we will all be holding here at .14 to.15 until some news comes and an announcement of a signed contract. No worries here, we'll be through the roof soon enough.
I don't quite understand--with news like this, GRGR should be taking off today the way MOPN did last week. Maybe the company (and those affiliated with it)needs to stop dumping shares and let this go for a while.
True..I believe that was released on May 6th. I'm sure we'll have something new soon.
It looks like the PR came out this morning:

Woodchips for BP's Gulf Oil Spill Clean Up; Green Energy Resources (GRGR) Ready to Deploy 100,000 Tons of Proven Technology for Oil Containment
SAN ANTONIO, May 10, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Green Energy Resources Inc. (Pink Sheets:GRGR) offers to commit 100,000 tons of woodchips for the gulf oil spill. Woodchips for oil containment is a proven technology listed with the Federal EPA. The woodchips are put inside the containment booms and through their honeycomb cell structure absorb the oil as well as collect it through adhesion. Unlike other technologies, woodchips don't sink to the bottom (like peat moss) but rather can be collected and skimmed off by idled fishermen that can be employed using their nets to collect the floating woodchips at the surface. The woodchips can then be delivered to some power stations to generate electricity cleanly and efficiently, disposing of the contaminated woodchips without negative environmental impact on land or in landfills. Green Energy Resources, in connection and support with Patriot Energy Services, a Florida based company, has received the green light to deploy from counties in Florida, pending EPA approvals on the disposal. Discussions are underway with other Fema Emergency contractors, British Petroleum, and Gulf States to employ the technology throughout the gulf region in effort to protect beaches and fisheries. Green Energy Resources has 10,000 tons within 45 miles of the Gulf that that can be utilized immediately and another 30,000 tons of super dry (17 % Moisture content) high absorbancy (high buoyancy) woodchips at the ready. Green Energy Resources is a registered FEMA contractor.

Just bought in...looks like this could be something here if they get a contract for clean up in the gulf. They seem to have been doing a lot of business according to all the press releases, so I guess we wait and see what happens!

MOPN Inks Agreement For Distribution in Ecuador and Peru

Hmmm, very nice response. But seriously, tractors leak fluid all the time, and putting MOP on the floor if it happens does preserve the old chestnut floor in the barn. The horses seem to enjoy it too--hahaha.
Wow smurfdeej--a little intense, huh?
I think bankshot is only trying to dispell people bashing the stock with misinformation. You are entitled to your opinion, but I think you need to take all of the information into consideration. This stock has shot up exponentially because of this crisis, but you do need to realize that once this product is out there because of the current disaster, the name will be everywhere. And what I said before rings true--this will be for sale in every WalMart in America by the end of the year; Amazon.com is only the beginning. Outsourcing production will only enhance this company's capabilities. MOPN was just getting back on its feet after a failed takeover by Silver Star Holding Company, and this is just what MOP Environmental needs to get back on its feet.
Thanks, bankshot, and you too. Maybe I'll read you tomorrow!
Well put Bankshot!
This cleanup will take years, and before too long MOP sorbent will be in the homes of every American. It works on cleaning gas and oil spills in the garage (or barn in my part), I used it to degrease the engine in my 1977 Ford, I use it to prep my lawnmower for the spring, and I've used it to clean oil based paint spills (I have an old home and used oil based gloss white for all of my trim). There is no risk here. This company could have a bag for sale in every Walmart in America by the end of the year. Not only that, but this product is revolutionary and does work better than every other thing that I have used. Again, I say that this product is the real deal, but lets keep in mind that the factory itself also is. They are able to utilize hydroelectric power to its fullest extent. A failed attempt to use Silver Star Holding Company to help gain revenue to produce more failed, but this unfortunate accident will be all Mr. Diamond needs to get his product to every household. They have inked a deal in South America to help with cleanup and the future is bright. I have been--and will continue--to hold every share I have in MOPN because this could be huge.
Thanks, lets all keep it up!
Believe it or not, I have already made A LOT of green off this, considering I bought in over a year ago for several hundred thousand at .001 cents a share. I'm all set, and I hope everyone does not think that this is all about the money--it is not. I have a bag of MOP sorbent in my barn which I use non a consistent basis. This is the real deal.
I think that the beauty in this board is not in simply talking about this stock, but rather, educating shareholders on the product itself. I am sure that a lot of people on this board have bought MOPN because it was a "hot pick," but they have no intimate knowledge of what MOP sorbent is and what it can do for this country. This oil spill will effect millions and threatens to destroy the fishing and tourist industries from Houston to Key West. If every shareholder just educated 5 more non-shareholders, maybe their friends or families, to not necessarily just buy MOPN, but rally for it to not only British Petroleum, but our many government agencies, then we could all be a part of something great. This is not about making money, this is about saving our planet. I hope that everyone does their research, and I hope that we all can at least come to the consensus that this product needs to be used in the Gulf, and if no one buys this stock, then I would be happy in at least knowing that we made a difference. I have contacted British Petroleum myself, I have contacted The Sierra Club, and I have contacted the U.S. Coast Guard--all with the sole purpose of trying to get them to take a closer look and see what this could mean for all of our futures. I hope that everyone is well, and tries to take a closer look at the bigger picture. Making a few thousand dollars on a penny stock does not do us any good when our planet is destroyed.
Check their website! MOP can be used in cleaning and unclogging pipe lines.
---I stand corrected.. in 2008 they agreed to produce their product as a priority to one one of the 10 top US pipeline companies. See link. Sorry, and I did not want to be giving false information

Probably no "run" today. I guess we'll all have to wait until next week. Hopefully we won't lose any ground.
I hope so!
I think Monday may be the day when this really takes off; at least it seems to be holding above 0.15. I still think this goes well over a dollar by the end of the month, and by the end of the year...well...it could be a very good Christmas this year.
Thanks for the updates!
