Was looking at the Yahoo finance page and one of the last sentences in the PaySign Company profile describing PaySign says: Its principal target markets for processing services comprise prepaid card issuers, retail and private-label issuers, small third-party processors, and small and mid-size financial institutions in the United States and internationally.
Just might be a "few" and last time I heard there's a bunch of folks in India, lol. PaySign - PayTime, it rhymes so let's get er rollin. Darn had to work at work today so no options today....
Good article on state of the card and digital payments world. It be YUGE!
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/citigroup-look-vastly-expand-india-115710863.html
Bingo chilar, I've sold some puts too....
janeyH, we've been there done that and know it's going to be good to great, at least I do, we're pumped but subdued at least that's me. What I'm really waiting on is between tomorrow and the meeting later this month I suspect the new charge card details will come out then it's on to yet another level further UP to the right on da chart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting very low volume so far today, wonder if someone's gonnna load up today for the financial report next Tue, Also, I think you're right chilar.
I do hope the shorts are loading up cause when PaySign reports the door to cover gets a bit small...love it!
With increased visibility come increased shenanigans....
got some at 8 bucks...
I'm ready this time..
Yeah you're exactly right chilar, I'll do some :stink bids" like you do and just let em sit there for a while, thanks!
I can, I'm just so USUALLY opposed to it, it never crossed my mind. In hindsight it would have been a great idea.
Nice, they've updated their website also. https://www.paysign.com/
Always pays to keep some cash on hand...lol
You and me both brother! I couldn't sell some calls fast enough in another stock to take real advantage. Ended up with a few at 8.90, oh well....
LOL, the article- No mention of the new PaySign rechargeable card due this quarter, a probable game changer for PaySign - (TPNL)
Another TPNL call out yesterday from Simply Wall St: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/factors-3pea-international-inc-nasdaq-185049472.html
Perhaps the reason for the jump yesterday more so than Cramer.
D, Link to the video of it...
https://www.cnbc.com/video/2019/04/15/cramers-lightning-round-this-is-always-a-bridesmaid-never-a-bride.html
On CNBC's "Mad Money Lightning Round", Jim Cramer said he is willing to recommend 3Pea International Inc (NASDAQ: TPNL) as a speculative buy. Anybody catch this?? WOW
D, why don't ya tell us how you really feel, LOL, I'm with ya partner on TPNL......
Now all we need to know is to whom and why!
My take is that it's someone who's been buying the stock all this week and want to keep buying it, why not sell a few hundred shares and bring it way down for some bargains on Monday at least for a bit, though I wasn't watching the last trade sizes to know that for sure today.
LOL you really mean lyft all boats...
So, 3Pea changes its name to PaySign to better reflect it's business, also notice nothing is done to the Website or any PR notification is presented, a name change is normally a big deal in itself. The final product of what PaySign is going to evolve to or whom they will "partner" with is yet unknown, hence no need to PR the name change and update the website, this is a spring that's being quietly compressed daily is what I see. Just had to say this cause its so apparent to me!
Chilar, Probably buy some long dated calls perhaps 40+ percent above current average price and sell them at some point before expiry. May also play the "sell call game" out a month or so hoping they expire worthless. Have to wait and see how this shakes out first though, I'm not wanting to get rid of any shares for a LONG time. I'm NOT a sophisticated option player, just the simple stuff.
Right on Mr. D! There is so much potential here with this company it's hard not to mortgage the house for more shares. Wonder when options will come on-line for us?
A bit interesting, is that PaySign didn't do a press release with the name change. Perhaps the name change will be wrapped in a more and bigger event which could be coming in the not to distant future, IMHO.
Key paragraph from FIS/Worldpay bid article is: “Organizations of all types and sizes are looking for new ways to create more meaningful and frictionless experiences and grow their share of wallet through digital channels,” the companies said. “FIS and Worldpay have complementary solutions and services” for banks as well as retailers, and also offer loyalty programs and anti-fraud products, they said.

Wow, when I first read it I thought it was a slight adjustment of the PaySign card name but just read the filing and as ebrie014 had said 3Pea is changing it's name to PaySign! The re=loadable card is a leg or 2 up, I do think in the long run
Thanks Mr. D - Here's the link: https://www.smarteranalyst.com/brief/maxim-group-believes-3pea-international-inc-tpnl-wont-stop-here-2/
There's an old adage around that if a stock is at 7 or 8 it will tend to go to 10 or 12. The story here is excellent and I see no reason it won't happen.
I sold half my position at a buck, been kickin myself ever since and buying back all the time. The re-loadable card I believe is a game changer.
Still, PYDS has crappy mgmt. which Trumps any perceived positives it has.
Thanks Chilar, will make the effort and try to go this year.
Was looking again at their newest presentation and another one of the items that caught my eye on slide 9 - New Business Development - was the the Leadership Team and BOD Relationships. To me this represents what got TPNL to this point, Leadership. The second part of that bubble more importantly now represents the future, BOD Relationships. That's what this new group brings to 3Pea.
I asked additional questions after being queried by the IR firm hosting ther webcast, here's the 2 questions and answers from the IR firm:
1. I'd like a little more on the ways the card can be reloaded. This looks somewhat to be a debit card tied to an account that the, to be named bank, will provide billpay, overdraft etc services if I understand correctly. Could someone's employer or other entity deposit money to the card/account?
You are correct in how this looks, i.e. a debit card tied to an account partnered with a bank (yet to be named). They haven’t worked out all the specifics as to features, or at least haven’t made any of that public yet, but, receiving money from an employer or other entity is a likely feature.
2. Also will this bank market/promote the Paysign card, seems to me they would want to?
Seems to me they would want to as well. I don’t have a specific answer for you as these are internal business dealing type questions that the company would have with their partner.
LOL and great idea ebrie, forgot about doing that. I hope it hits, Both my wife and I will then both retire!
Won't be surprised if an article pops up soon about TPNL or rather I'b surprised if one didn't, just sayin...
Look at slide 6 of the presentation it says - Cross-sell new product to cardholders to [color=red]enable ability to direct deposit funds to a debit account with bill pay, money transfer, remote deposit capture and opt-in overdraft features
Absolutely agree wow, I was going to say it myself but you beat me to it about dwarfing the plasma business. The stated paysign debit card with over draft, bill pay capability will essentially make this a credit card. I would think whomever they team with (more than one bank?) could be a small to middle sized bank that fits inside of this new loosened regulation scheme. I don't own enough of this stock.
