Nope, thats the name of Allie's new boyfriend!
"Granted management has a long way to go in their communication, but so do many on this board."
Cos -this board is entertainment!! Management are ones that needs to step up (I hope you are not using this board for DD!)
That a good question; I really don't know. I would hedge my bet. In other words if you are a current shareholder and SPNG goes to zero; if financially that is no big deal for you -then just hold on to your shares and see what happens. However, I would not recomend "new" money into this company until the 10K is issued and reviewed etc.., etc..
This is the info the shareholders get? Bunch of meaningless crap. Typical marketing guys, no 10K, SEC issues, litigation issue - hey I have an idea; lets re-package our products! Talk about not addressing the issues!. The Mutt brothers should be pre-loaded with soap and re-package to another company.
Yes I know its not doable. Statement is basiclly - If could I would!
So if they are buying on inside information (clearly not legal) however, that assume that there is something in the works with SPNG, some subsequent event, that would cause the shares to go up. No one is going to after an insider that lost money.
As of today, based upon information or lack there of, I would fire both of them!
June 2009??? Dated informamtion - I will not waste my time with that. Lots of things has happened since June of 2009. Waiting for the 10K - It should be interseting what they will say in this years conference, assuming they show up.
Correction the previous post - " I don't THINK the price is going up anytime soon".
No worries - I don't the price is going up anytime soon (and that is a very positive statement!)
I agree with you. This whole business of tracking down Sponge Bob is stores is quite silly. I wonder if the people on the GM board post very time they spot a GM car on the road and then automaticlly assume because they see lots of GM cars the company is very profitable. I wish people would spend thier time chasing down the Mutt brothers for the 10K instead of looking for sponges in stores and reporting back.
Because they lose their favor.
Sales people and marketing people generally or at least based on my experience; are all about the show. They spend lots time and money projection a net worth they don't have.
And its 100 percent managements fault for not reporting to the shareholders! No 10K/audit financial statements opens the door to doubt. On the flip slide it also opens to door on unrealistic positive expectations. No creditable information from management results in the swirl you see on this board - the range goes from; this company is going to chapter 11 to its going to be a 2.00 stock. And people put together their story and why they beleive its within a specfic point in that range. All good stories but the truth is no non-insider really know! Making an investment on a gut feeling is not an investment is a lotto ticket and until the 10k comes out SPNG is a lotto ticket - place your bets!
Agreed; but that is always short lived.
Maybe they feel better about themselves for screwing the shareholders? Now when they come back to the US they feel they have a clean slate so they can continue to screw the shareholders.
I am enjoying the laugh now! The yahoos running this company are only going to run it deeper into the whole. As time goes on I don't expect laughter regarding this stock, only lots of fried shareholders.
Its all about the management team! if you have crap it does matter what line of business the company is in - management will turn it into crap!
Nice come back!
There really is nothing in your post to have people aduse you. Its factual and good investment advice. And if people want to play the wishing game; thats cool. The problem is when they can't tell the diffence between an investment and the wishing game. The longs are making a bet and the shorts are the bookies; the bookies generally win but if big bet happens to hit the bookies are toast.
Don't forget to ask the Smurph when they plan on reporting to all the owners the audited accounts.
Meter is strictly a marketing guy, he doesn't know how to count. Mosko just thinks he know how to count. And the amazing end result is - no audit accounts! They seem to just can't report to the shareholders and insist on running this company Mickey Mouse style.
Its the Jim Jones KoolAid!! When you drink it - your gas will be green and not hurt the earth (you may kill the guy standing next to you but you have saved the planet!)
Well.. you are right! X-mas sticks in my mind since I was hoping for the gift of a 10k (even a "bad" 10k would have been good- something to value the company etc..) instead we coal and this ongoing soap opera.
What is fishy to me is that I have been waiting for the 10K since Xmas! Management to date are a bunch of putzes.
NICE POST!!! _ You hit the root of the problem.
We need a bigger paint brush. 15 cents would be nice!
so did you ever get your question answered?
OA -that's dated information from Oct 2009. Pikes moving in is new stuff (not really a good come back). Granted I don't believe the M&M brothers have become enlighted (no 10K). There is always the change that there is a change in management.
If it cost 15 million to 25 million to generate the 10 to 20 million in revenues SPNG seriously over paid. Its the net profit amount that matters not the gross. Having audited accounts and footnotes/ 10K answers most of those types of questions with detailed information.
Well put; nice summary.
I disagree with the percentage of winning, however I do agree that without the 10K; SPNG = lotto mania.
Great question based on your DD! I don't think you would fine a creditable answer on this board. This is something that the 10K would address and since there is no 10K- I recommend calling management, because at the end of the day, they are the only ones who really know whats going on. Sadly, management has not reported (audited financial statements) to it shareholders. If I ignored by boss the way these guys ignore the shareholders I would have been fired a longtime ago.
Truely not a great headline; but no one should be shocked. However, the audited 10K would allow the market to value the business as a whole including management's creditabilty or lack there of. On the other hand 50 million profit, no one should be shocked as well. SPNG is a swirling black whole, and until management comes clean (pun inteneded) the stock price will die a slow death - as it has been.
At this point without the 10K, it doesn't even matter what the PR says; it will be completely discounted. So at the end of the day its not even relavent if its a lie or not. Without the issuance of the 10K its just noise that the company is making.
The shareholder update should be the 10K!! This PR is meaningless.
Awesome idea! Time much better spent than swirling crap on this board.
speaking of village idiots - any word from Smurph?
Good question; instead of pestering the sec or going to stores looking for SPNG products - folks should pester management for the 10K! That will answer many, many questions. Until then looks like its going to trade from .04 to .05 - boring (the excitement of a wet sponge)!
During 2010. Then they would need to restate the 2009 results, and so on and so on...
