Truth is still truth whether men choose to acknowledge it or not. GLTA,Jim PS I am so glad of this capitulation by Scanbuy to throw in the towel and accept NEOM's terms for settlement. Much better for all of the industry for this to be over. Looking for more good news. Seems that Ian is the real deal. Go NEOM
Must be some dollars coming from somewhere. No revenue from YA for two months and the lites are still on. Go Neom. Can't wait for next CC or PR. I think the glass is a lot more than half full. I know, I know,JMHO. Jim
Appreciate your posts. A question-how is buy volume today with sell volume? TIA, Jim
Your first question you would like asked was, Why should I buy Neom stock? As a corollary question to that, I would be interested in a forward looking question, When do you expect revenue to exceed expenses? This year? And, when do you expect revenue from the Mobile Tag deal? The only thing that drives a stock is earnings. There's only two important things-revenue and when. IMHO GLTA, Jim
JMHO, Scanbuy has built a company on a foundation that is owned by Neomedia. NEOM, on the other hand, is building a company on relationships with some of the biggest players. I wonder if Scanbuy has made any money for its investors. I like what one poster has said, "The end of the story hasn't been written yet." I don't completely know the end of the story yet, but I sure like the relationships NEOM has been developing. Maybe there will be a PR on Sep 1 or 2 before the conference call. No inside info, but it is curious to have a CC so close to the 6 to 8 week time frame. We shall soon know. GLTA, Jim
I know that this industry will be huge. I've seen a lot this year that has encouraged me that Neom would be a major part of it. LM and Dean Woods joining, 048 patent upheld and strengthened, test runs using the tech in a number of places, relationships with a number of companies, including especially Neustar, first licensing deal and, language that suggests a possible sale. However, the continued dilution does not suggest to me that the sale is imminent . I know more news is coming. The CC scheduled so close to the 6 to 8 weeks news suggests to me that Sep 1 or early Sep 2 a PR will be released that 1 or 2 more licensing deals are done. If the deals are with major companies that include some upfront cash, well then maybe we are turning the corner. If not, it would seem like a good time to go. All IMHO. GLTA, Jim
You sure are keeping an optomistic view of things. My problem is I am always expecting the whale to be landed today. And when the catch is reeled in, no matter how big it is, it's not as big as I thought it was going to be. After last month, when the byword was huge, and the discussion went around the world and back as to what Iain said, I was expecting something HUGE. Now all of us have different ideas of what huge means and they were all discussed. Are we doing the same thing again by suggesting how many deals Iain is making in 6 weeks and with whom? I find myself starting to dream again of a possible deal with softie or some other huge company. If it turns out to be only a deal with two or three smaller companies, will I wind up being disappointed because I'm expecting the whale to be on the other end of the line in 6 weeks? BTW, I am expecting great things for this company, in spite of YA, but I'm just trying to be a bit more realistic. Should we be looking at,say, 6 months from now instead of tomorrow? Not trying to give anybody a hard time, but are we as far as we think we are? Appreciate anybody's thoughts.GLTA,Jim PS Am not a techie so I rely on a lot of you more than you know. Thanks
I feel your frustration. I've been here for years. I don't think the run would've happened in 05 if YA had had the convertible preferred that they have now. How's the stock working out that went from less than a penny to 7 cents this week? Sounds like you found a winner. Hope this all works out here as well. GLTA, Jim
No, didn't receive your message. Maybe intercepted by one of my filters. Send it again tonite and I will look for it. Jim
I,for one, also appreciate your posts. Your knowledge and your ability to put things together is like a breath of fresh air. Question for you-is Neustar necessarily involved in the licensing deal today? TIA Jim
Thanks for the news. Interesting-Bena is going to be asking some really great questions tomorrow.Way to go, Bena! Any of you like some other questions asked? Send them to Bena today. On another note, I am not a lawyer, but, it would seem like this could help out with the Scanbuy licensing/court case. Until now, no one else has licensed, why should we? Dot connecting is good, but news is great!!!!!!!!!!! GLTA, Jim PS I tried to email Bena yesterday at Bena@gomonews.mobi asking for an interview with Laura, but the email was returned saying it was refused. Any other way to contact Bena? TIA
Thanks for Bena's email address. Message sent asking for an interview with LM. Jim Edit-message returned by aol-says mail is not accepted by this individual. Is there another email address I can try? TIA Jim
Hey, JP, I know we're all waiting for the HUGE news/interview with Iain to take place. As long as we're waiting, what I would love to see is an interview with Laura. Is there any way to send a note to Bena asking about that possibility? TIA Jim
Don't agree that Bena's credibility will be shot if no interview/news by end of month. She is the messenger of news given to her, not creator. And if the news takes another couple weeks or whatever, I, for one, am willing to wait. I enjoy Bena's reporting for NEOM. I wish we had a dozen reporters writing for us. I've been around a long time. The release of the news is not up to Bena. I'm as hungry as anyone to hear something that increases the share price, but not willing to shoot the messengers if it hasn't been released. GLTA Jim
It would sound like the options would be part of their compensation for the next year. But why a year? Why not vest all of the options now if the company is being sold now? Unless it would be an incentive to keep people that the new company wanted. I honestly don't know. Opinions? GLTA, Jim
JP, or anyone, what are the significances of the Form 4s that were just filed? TIA, Jim
The interview will be much more fun after the first piece of huge news is released. Jim
Thanks for the news that comes out of GOMO. I really appreciate Bena for asking some questions of the managing director of YA. It was really good to hear that some huge things are going on. Now, we wait for the follow up news, which is, news of revenue. Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.-Eleanor Roosevelt The ideas and news Gomo gets out is the important not the puctuation. GLTA, Jim P.S. Ask more questions, Bena.TIA
Totally agree. Also liked the way she framed the question "on behalf of the shareholders" Say, Howard, a favor. I tried to go to Gomo to say thank you to Bena for asking some questions on our behalf and the parental controls on my computer won't let nme into the GOMO site. If you, or others, are so inclined, how about saying thank you to Bena? Just a thought. Jim
Thank you, JP for your kind words. It is not the person we are, but the person we become. We need more people around who have the scars but also the wisdom gained from the battles. In a word, more fathers. Thanks for taking time to encourage, and, sometimes, to correct. You have encouraged me much as well as a number of others. An appreciation to .10 will help our emotions, but our attitude is something that develops, no matter the circumstances. Thanks again for sticking around and encouraging others, like me. Jim
Math on analysis of Neom from your chart. All the negatives are totalled and the positives are totalled. Whichever one is greater, that number is used and the other is ignored. Why? I don't know. It has been that way on every analysis for Neom that you have shared. My best to you, Jim
We all have things we'd like to see. Most of the posters here look for good info that shows the enormous marketplace that Neom is in. A few sound like they must post something negative even though there is no info behind it. Whether thru positive or negative posts, this company and this technology is becoming more well known. Amazing to me all of the relationships that have formed this year. I must admit the waiting game has been a little hard for the first revenue deal, but, IMHO, in all the years I have invested in this stock,I have never been so excited about the future. Go Neom. All my best, Jim
Hey, JP, that sure is a great idea to put a code on the back of your business card. What really blessed me was the response to the card. Give me several so I can pass them around. Your name is more widely distributed, as well as giving people access to more info than would be available on the card. One picture is woth more than a thousand words. Which is also the advantage of using the indirect method. It captures info for you of who clicked on your code.Keep up the good work. My best to you, Jim
Whether it is direct or indirect does not matter. It is bringing this tech to the marketplace. There will be applications where direct is fine. But for the vast majority of cases the indirect method will provide critical info to the one running the campaign of who is using the promotion so that ad dollars can be spent more wisely. Every app will not bring revenue to NEOM {direct} but every method method will bring more awareness of this tech to the marketplace. And, by the way, thanks Neil Pearl for rhe two press releases of the succesful campaign in Austria. Two press releases are better than one. And to say it twice that it surpassed our expectations is good-twice. Have a great weekend-all. Jim
You are exactly right.I feel some, such as yourself, have done a lot of research into what NEOM is and the future that it has. However, many have not. And when there is good news they are up and when there is news without the filter of what Neom really is, they are down. Everyone has opinions, but you and YJ and clawman and JP and elliott and BC and a number of others have an opinion based on a lot of DD. I so appreciate all who have paid the price to have an informed opinion. My hat is off to you all. My best to you, Jim
Yes there was. Ian stated the just finished campaign resulted in billable revenues. No mention of how much though. All my best, Jim
I heard Ian say that the campaign with Nokia has resulted in either billable or billed revenue. Didn't catch which it is. In either case there would be a PR coming as soon as that revenue is received, wouldn't there? GLTA, Jim
Vero, good to see you this morning. What does our reident chart reader see this morning? TIA My best to you, Jim
Any way you look at it, it os great news! We will soon know what it means. Thank you Mae. My best to all, Jim
I sure like your way of thinking. Also, I understood the logic of selling Neom a year ago. But now, with the 048 patent validated and strengthened and the working agreements with Honeywell and Neustar I could easily see NEOM continuing as an independent company. They now have some very big companies to help them succeed. I hope they are allowed to. Enjoy your posts and your spirit. GLTA My best to you, Jim
Absolutely right!!!! This is a new company. The core patent has been upheld and strengthened. We have a CEO who wants to work with others and he has demonstrated that over and over. Examples: Honeywell, Neustar, bringing key people on board-LM,bringing in a new vp of buisiness development. This company has gone light years in the last 4 months. Appreciate your posts and encouragement. GLTA, My best to you, Jim
Thanks for all of your posts. You were confident when most others weren't. You tend to find good in others. And the last few months there has been so much good news, LM joining the board of directors, Mr Wood coming on board in sales, Honeywell, patent validated and strengthened, Neustar, and now SB saying they wouldn't mind paying a fair licensing fee. From all that there has been so much speculation. What does it all mean? Every possible scenario that I can see has been put out there. And LM joined the company 6 weeks before patent reexam. Expecting more good news in CC on Tuesday. It is a privilege to read all of the posts on this board. A good weekend to all. Jim
Yes! Happy Easter to all. Jim
Great question. Why don't you email Neom and ask if the ASM is still scheduled for May or June and get back to us with the answer. All my best to you, Jim
Good question for cc-how many things are in the pipeline that you can't discuss yet. GLTA My best to you, Jim
Hey,JP,after I suggested someone ask for a PR from NEOM for the rescheduled CC because of late filing 10-K-I thought I can do that. So I emailed Neom asking for a PR. They did. It was picked up on stockwire.com Best to all< Jim
Thanks. But I assume, there are lots of people, like me, that don't know that a late filing only delays the filing by a maximum of 15 days. Best to you, Jim
Appreciate all the great info you provide. Say-just a thought. The conference call has been rescheduled so that the company can discuss the 10-k.Which means the 10-k must be released before the call. How about asking the company to make a PR stating that. So there is a definite time-shortly, for the info to be released. Best to you, Jim
Great post. You forgot the resident psychiatrist-Dr. Myke As well as many others who bring great news and informed opinions. GLTA, Jim
Just a thought-Does this mean Neom is not reading this board as some have suggested? LOL Have a great weekend all, Jim
