is figuring out how he's going to end up losing all his money... too many consecutive green days is going to bring forth some AWFUL karma...

I picked up some BQI at .90
MPG in the 1.20s now... yeesh... still holding?
I have two emails that I posted right around the divi payment regarding the O/S... both times Marlene emailed me, 3/27/09 & 4/7/09, she said the O/S was 255,877,032.
I don't know for sure when it jumped from 256M to 263M.
I disagree about the statement:
"unless one is a co. insider
one hasn't a clue what is legit
or not ~ what is fishy or not ~"
There have been many subjects that Greedy Malone, for one, has brought up that makes the company really seem fishy. I do not believe that one needs to be a company insider to think something is strange when the company hasn't put out a PR in, what 18+ days?, over this dividend issue...
They've also been promising and promising (according to others' reported emails) that a new website will be up soon. They've been saying that since September when I was a shareholder. These are just 2 examples that I pulled out... there are many more.
Basically I'm just saying that there are so many more reasons to think this is a scam than to think it is a legitimate company.
I don't understand why after waiting this long with no updates or other responses one would continue to believe in this company. If they are real, I would wait until they started giving evidence of it.
This could be an alright daytrade, albeit a risky one... but I personally wouldn't hold it too long. I have a "*Feeling*" this runup is to sell more shares at a higher price... but don't take that for much... since I have nothing to back it up... just a feeling...
Anyways... I'm just saying I disagree... you can think something seems fishy without being a company insider.
Is the website only for the holding company? The website (while is is pretty poor in content) does not mention any other name it goes by. If a company needs to do business, why would they keep their name a secret; why would they have an alias that nobody could know?
I'm not familiar with how the CoC works, but would it be possible to have them run the names of the execs for property ownership? I'm not sure if they would divulge that information, but I don't see why they couldn't...
EDIT: I see that the website says "Anviron Corporation," not "Anviron Holding Company."
well spoken... I think this is exactly the case here.
For me, I can't prove whether this is a legit company or not... but it definitely a hobby of mine to daily check out what others are saying. It is interesting how many people defend a company that does not directly answer any questions... their answers seem to be open-ended. People seem to be willing to sit here and defend the company until the day they (or the company) die. I just don't understand the blind faith some people have in pinky companies.
Don't be afraid to admit that some things might smell fishy! It's your money we're talking about here...
Some people are saying that something must be in the works because the pps is going up. Perhaps... but it doesn't make sense to me... the only thing that would make sense is that someone is driving the price up while the chill is on so that they can sell their shares for a higher price...
Anyways, I rambled... I just wanted to say excellent post Beerclark.
Even that ain't safe... China is not accepting pork from Illinois on account of the pandemic [LOL] known as the swine flu... or so the radio says...
ouch MPG... go the other direction
I hope it gets to the target of $4 for the players on this board... though I will probably be playing it safer (if it gets that high) and locking in around $3.50... but I don't have as large a buy-in.
I don't need the top or the bottom, just green :)
Well Chartinator... looks like MPG is gonna go over $2 today
it has a premarket high of $2:
http://www.nasdaq.com/aspxcontent/ExtendedTradingTrades.aspx?selected=MPG&mkttype=pre
I'm glad I entered and then averaged down at 1.70 yesterday... I look forward to making money with you on this one!
lol, yeah it's easy to get ahead of one's self... can't blame anyone but myself for getting too reckless. It probably won't be the last time... but I don't do it too many more times
EDIT: plz delete double post... I hit submit one too many times :p
I was a little too heavily invested in VG... lost a weeks worth of gains... doh...
picked up some MPG @ 1.79
Greedy is saying it correctly:
Step 1: Company pays T/A
Step 2: T/A pays brokerages
Not what you are saying:
Step 1: T/A pays brokerages
Step 2: T/A sends Company a bill for dividend
... if the latter were the case, I don't think there would be any way for the brokerages to remove the divi from investor's accounts... it just doesn't make sense...
From your quote from Vivina, it is obvious she was describing the former.
I'm not sure where the confusion is. He said the T/A didn't know on there was a divi to begin with. Then he stated that the T/A was now aware of it and are now awaiting communications from the company.
This is not contradictory.
He did not say the T/A knew nothing about it, then stating that they paid the brokerages the divi, were not paid so they retracted the payment. I see more conflict with your "*DD*" that the T/A paid the brokerages and sent a bill to Anviron. How could the T/A pull the money back out if they already paid the brokerages? It makes no sense. (14th of 15 posts... so you won't be hearing much more from me today)
If the T/A paid the divi to the brokers and Anviron did not pay them the bill... they can get the money back from the brokerages?
Who presented the bill? I remember people posting that the T/A was unaware of any dividend some time post pay date. I understand that they are now aware that Anviron was supposed to issue a divi... but if they initially didn't know about it, then how could they have issued a bill for it?
EDIT: I know I asked Marlene about the divi and she didn't know... not sure if people talked to Vivina... do you know for sure that the T/A was aware of the divi on 3/31?
EDIT#2: I'm running low on posts per day... GreedyM: I received a similar response yesterday from Vivina:
Hi xxxxxxxx,
Please be advised that we are in communications with the Company to resolve the dividend payment matter. Once I receive further information, I will notify you.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Vivina Mendez

This can't all be from profit taking, can it? .53 now
VG NLOD....
I bought in higher so it felt the need to sell off... just kidding...
I would think they would have wanted to get this figured out much faster than it is happening... time is money... the more they spend on this, the less they spend on business ventures...
At the same time, if they don't get this figured out fast, then they look less and less accountable/responsible. I mean... they met 4 days before the dividend pay date to discuss how they were going to pay the dividend! What could possibly be so messed up that they didn't know about in that meeting or during the month after the divi pay date?
now if the pps could increase by that much! [rather than going under my buy in price... I wish I could average down further]
I find it honorable that you do give to your church... it's easy when we see big gains to think to keep it all for ourselves...
vg stop with the profit taking already
Any targets for VG? I was thinking of like 1.10 area for a sell...
looks like I got in a little too early... ah well... over a dollar, profit is profit
I picked some up for a little ride from .85
I've got a premarket high of 1.50:

If you are saying the T/A sends out a bill for services rendered including the divs... aren't you then in a sense agreeing with Greedy Malone?
You are both saying there was a discrepancy... which was the lack of payment and/or knowledge of the dividend by the T/A. Except Greedy is looking at it as a major red flag for the company and you are viewing it as some minor setback that can all be fixed whenever the T/A and ANVH get around to figuring out the cause...
If the T/A bills out for the divs, then they would have paid the divs to the brokers and then billed ANVH, no? How on Earth could there be a discrepancy with the T/A not knowing about a dividend that had 3 MONTHS from the ex date to the pay date? Adding to this... how on EARTH could there be a foul up when the big wigs at ANVH met privately on March 27th:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=36607238
... which was only 4 days before payment of dividend??? It was stated [see above link] that they were going to discuss the divi!!
I don't see how someone can defend Anviron after this... it has been, what, 2 weeks since and they have not updated the shareholders via a PR? How can someone not look at Anviron as guilty until proven innocent now?
I'm not really sure why it is dropping so fast
why is it still going up after hearing worse than expected results from the stress test?
Hey, I asked the contact person listed in the Ibox... if she says there has been no response from the emails sent to Anviron, should I really question it?
And, Frankly I don't really care if you trust my message or not... I'm not invested in this company (haven't been since October 2008)... I'm just trying to help get some information out there.
Is that a Deuce Bigalow reference? LOL
EDIT: no wait... I was thinking of another quote:
I often have trouble getting myself to hit the sell button when I over-invest in a particular security... though I'm doing much better about that these days...
I agree though... you've gotta get over your pride and hit the sell button sometimes...
Wahoooo BEE! 1.79 in AH Trading... I'm so glad I re-entered at 1.39... though I could have waited 30 mins and gotten in at 1.28... meh... tomorrow will be GREAT
Apparently Marlene doesn't know that they got any responses back from Anviron... I asked her in an email this morning and she said that they still haven't gotten a response...
If ANVH was a fake, they would have been long gone, but they aren't.
I don't know if I would go as far as to say that... fake companies can stick around for quite a while... it just depends on how good they are at tricking their investors.
I'm not saying that ANVH is a fraud or that it is the real deal... The jury is still out on that, but it is HEAVILY weighing in on the former...
Yeah I'm glad BEE is at least holding the 1.29 area... hopefully we'll see a run EOD
Does anyone know if we are expecting to hear good or bad earnings from BEE?
