I totally agree with your analysis regarding the value of Mr. Black on the board.
I would take it however a step further. Mr. Black gives the company something that the company sorely needs and does not have at all.
Credibility.
I remember speaking to Mr. Black at ASCO 2019 and the main point he made was that he would not be involved in NWBO if it was not legitimate. Furthermore he indicated that he had total faith in LP. In fact, he went further and stated that this company would not exist and would have become bankrupt many years ago had it not been for LP at the helm.
Sometimes I think all of us feel perhaps that LP May not act in a way that is positive to shareholders or may in fact even be in a conflict of interest.
Mr. Black had total confidence in LP.
And knowing this has helped me get through these dark times, feel a little better. Either you believe and trust in management or you don’t.
If you don’t believe in the management then certainly you should sell.

Regarding your comment
“I'm not saying they'll go to the last day, but they could certainly need to issue the Proxy for the meeting well before the report is out.”
I can guarantee you they won’t put anything out until they absolutely have to. They have never done anything on time or anything except for the very last moment possible and only then when they were completely forced to do something.
Thanks reg. Good advice yes done. Fortunately no one in our sphere of contacts has become ill. That’s probably because we live in the country and are essentially quarantined by our lifestyle. We don’t get out much. But the kids can be carriers. That’s why I wanted to get an antibody test.
I’m using photonic as my control as I sneezed and coughed on him a couple times and he didn’t get anything! Just joking did not do this.
Thanks follower. Very good info.
I feel your pain flip. We all feel your pain. You’re not being sarcastic are you? Ha
Let’s hope that it really is truly interesting and or very interesting!
Thanks Reg hopefully I will see you there at the ASM as well.
Personal Question for the board. I know there are some readers of this board who are in Medicine and work in the ER. Ect ect.
My two college age kids spent 14 day Spain Italy trip and returned home on January 15. And they spent a lot of time in all of the high-risk areas like Venice and Malon Naples and Rome. All of this was before we knew Italy was a high-risk area.
About eight days after they got home the two little kids got what we appeared was a upper respiratory infection and cold. Basically fever and cough.
About four days after that my wife whose pretty healthy came down with a thing that laid on her back for eight days and she had high fever and shortness of breath and cough dry cough. She and I thought she had the flu even though she has been vaccinated for the flu.
About three days after she got hers I got a mild version which I thought was essentially a upper respiratory infection.
None of this was so bad that we went in or engaged any medical people.
Now that I look at and see what’s happening in Italy I’m wondering if my older children actually caught coronavirus with minimal symptoms and then basically were carriers and brought it home to all of us.
Now all of us are perfectly healthy and all of the symptoms have resolved. So there’s no way of knowing since currently there is no anybody tests available to determine if you have immunity for this thing. And nothing to determine if you actually had the disease And are now over it.
Just wondering if anyone would have any insight into this and if there is any antibody test that could determine whether or not one Has already actually had the disease and didn’t know it.
How this relates to NWBO is that I’m more likely to go to the ASM and hear the interesting are very interesting stuff if I know I have immunity to the virus.

I agree with your analysis.
In a way I am glad that this Communication issue has forced to DI to further state that He believes I had misinterpreted his comments. This is a good thing. Because it has forced him to not be on the fence about this. And this therefore is a confirmation of sorts.
Basically this just reaffirms that The company will present something interesting or very interesting at the ASM.
I don’t know if that’s going to be a timeline of events or an actual unbinding or an analysis of the trial or a buyout or what.
I suspect it will be interesting but not earth shattering.
Look glad you got DI to clarify.
When I talked to him he did say that we might have to wait until Mid May for information and seemed definitely to downplay importance of the ASM meeting. I definitely remember this because I confronted him regarding it.
It definitely seemed to me that he was trying to temper my expectations regarding the ASM meeting and was hedging his bets. Perhaps this is just my interpretation of what he was saying but I heard what I heard.
Yes probably should’ve asked more stuff but I got called away and had to end and terminate the call early. Yes I have met DI at the last ASCO meeting. I like him.
Learning. Not much I can do about it. I am in the same boat as everybody else.
Pretty much accurate I suppose
KING SCOTTY!!!!!!!
I just want everyone to have some realistic expectations regarding the April 18th annual meeting.
During a phone call with DI, I was calling to ask him about the location of the meeting as I was considering attending.
Specifically also wanted to know whether it was going to be in DC or not as there are different laws regarding recording of Conversations in the different states. Answer Yes. If I attend, I was considering recording the meeting so I could review later what was said. My legal google search review, indicates that in DC it is legal for 1 party to the conversation to record legally without the consent of the other party. So anyone in attendance can do a recording. Legally.
Any rate I also asked him if given the coronavirus and the fact that a lot of people likely will not travel with the virus being around, if the company would broadcast or provide a link of a video for the meeting.
He was not sure if they would record it, but indicated to me that:
“nothing can be reviewed or revealed at the meeting that is not already public information”
So therefore, he indicated that there might not be any need for a recording. I thought this was somewhat strange given that the meeting was to a certain degree hyped by the terms ‘interesting and very interesting adjectives’ in the recent PR.
Furthermore he did make an attempt during the call, to further kick the can down to road, and said we may have to wait until mid May for any significant announcements. When he had indicated this, I kind of jumped on him and called BS to this, stating that look you hyped the meeting up so much that to kick the can even a couple 2-6 weeks at the meeting and just say the normal cliché's of ‘shortly, pedal to the metal, imminent, ect ect’ is not going to cut it for the retail shareholders or myself, especially after the PR announcing that the meeting would be ‘interesting’.
At any rate, bottom line, I got thinking about it and likely I suspect what is going to happen is that the meeting will probably just give us a timeline.
Perhaps they will say we are going to lock the data at this date and or top line will be revealed at the late breaking abstract section of the Plenary session of the American College of Clinical Oncology meeting in Chicago. Or something like that. But now I do not expect any actual earth shattering news at the meeting.
But I do think (hope) we will get guidance on where they are at, which indeed likely for all of this could be interesting or very interesting.
Sukus. Agree hope is all we have left.Let’s hope that they do have a plan such as you have outlined.
Sukus I’m sorry but I respectfully must disagree with you. I don’t think LP or Less or Bosch has ever done anything ever in a single day or quickly when it comes to managing and running NWBO.
If they have to write up anything it will take weeks maybe months, More probably multi months, for them to do it, even if someone actually submitted to them already completed.
They just can’t do it. They can’t and won’t do it quickly. It’s not in their nature. I am really sick and tired of them not giving us any bleeping information.
Nuts. Nuts
Sikus. I don’t think you get it. I don’t think LP or Les have ever done anything quick in their entire life. Never would they be able to write something up in a single day or even a few days and submit it to us. They are just &$€£%#|~ never going to give us any information.
Much better for this to occur:
1. TLD in April/May and full analysis at the plenary session at ASCO The industry theater venue is a joke Compared to the real scientific venues at ASCO such as the plenary session.
The plenary session at ASCO has literally thousands of seats for attendance and the industry theater maybe had 100? Maybe
Oh but then that would require Bosch or LL to actually write an article Or an abstract. That could take years. Just remember how long it took them to put out that translational medicine article. Literally it took them so long that it was like the hardest thing ever to be done by anyone. Ever.
Everything with NWBO seems to be the hardest thing that has ever been completed by anyone in mankind. Nothing is easy. And if it is easy they will make it hard. By just being lawyers.
Hypothesis “Educated Guess”
Why is this Companies Stock at its 52 week low of .16 now immediately before Lock and TL review of a pivotal exciting phase III clinical trail on a revolutionary immune therapy that may well change the cancer treatment paradigm????
Here is my hypothesis. Review it and cut it to pieces if you want, as I am in favor of open discussion of dipartite views.
I don’t think it’s the protocol results, or anything with the science.
Why then the low price NOW of all times??? Right before results???
I think the culprit for this can be found in the many Millions of currently out of the money worthless Warrants that are at the cusp of expiration.
I ask Who would be in favor or receive gain from a low price in NWBO stock price RIGHT NOW??
The company has admitted to (DI said that Less was actively doing this) attempting to negotiate with warrant holders to extend their warrants for an additional premium price.
Well there we have it. I have led to believe that there are many Millions of warrants (Maybe even 100’s of Millions of Warrants) that need to be repriced. Will if the warrant holders save even a penny on the cost of the premium or the expiration price that would equal for 100 Million warrants a $1Million dollar savings. (Note also I believe many insiders, (LP I believe) hold these warrants as well so some in the company may not be really that against having the share price be low at this time and for a 30 day period of time).
So for much less money say a couple of hundred thousand the warrant holders can keep and manipulate the NWBO price down. And by doing this they can improve their negotiations with the company on the terms of the Warrant pre pricing premium and may even get a reduction on the exercise price of the warrants which will save the warrant holders many many Millions.
What is the one thing that the Warrant holders can do with relatively little capital is to hold the NWBO price down in order to make many Millions on improved better warrant pricing.
What can retail do? Not much except Buy NWBO shares now on the open market. That is what I have done. I realize given how this company is down like 99 percent many retail longs do not have any dry powder and hence the price drop because the warrant holders do have money to suppress the Stock Price.
So Buy if you can now.
“Ad hoc” .... “post hoc”;
But, given the low share price what they’re really saying that if you’re a shareholder you are “in Hoc”!.
I just reviewed my first purchase of 100 K shares in 2012 at .45 per share. Pretty sobering eight years.
I see young vivacious patients daily, with glioblastoma and I can’t offer this therapy to them.
It is a travesty that they are taking so long for this.
Hey I just saw that Chris L on Twitter for days ago confirmed that it was R Pearlmutter at the ASCO meeting.
Photonic can you do a Twitter link?
Pretty good sleuthing for a couple of retails!!!
Drug runner. You don’t work for NWBO do you???
If memory serves. This was presented at the 2017 ASTRO meeting by A UCLA Neuroradiologist.
Interesting
Yes that’s right.
And also when photonic called DI and asked him hey Alpha wants to know where his steak is, as it is after September and The SAP is not done.
I think the response DI gave was Something to the effect of,
“hey Once you find out about all of the things we are working on, You will want to buy me a steak!”
Not Lombardi’s they charge extra for the potato, extra if you want to use a fork, extra if you want to have a spoon with your meal, five dollars extra for salt and pepper or steak sauce in addition to exorbitant steak prices.
That’s BS
At Rupps in Cleveland you get a very good steak much better than Lombardi’s and at a reasonable price.
I’m still frugal! I don’t want to stick it (Or should I say steak it) to them too hard!.
Yep I’ll probably call DI And order my steak at Rupps in Cleveland medium rare.
Finally I get a dividend here.
Anti
I own both BA and NWBO so I thought it would be kind of interesting in my mind at which event will happened sooner?
I’m very positive about the data and the treatment.
It’s just I get tired of waiting for them to shit or get off the pot with regarding unbinding and I am somewhat disenfranchised by this whole SAP process that has taken 10+ months and is continuing?.
I understand they have three prominent statisticians working on this and I know from working with statisticians that sometimes you need to just pick the best one and have that one person decide.
Sometimes when you have too many choices. You can’t see the Forest from the trees.
And the forest in this case is that this works and will help patients with minimal side effects. I I can imagine that all the statistician’s are actively fighting and it makes it difficult I think for management to decide what to do.
So in fear they do nothing. Except delay thinking that that will help them in someway.
Let’s play a fun game.
Please guess at whether we will see top line before the 737 max flies again.
I say no.
Curious what others might think.
I hope not!!
I was hoping for a steak from Rupps steakhouse!!
The bet was actually on whether or not the SAP would be completed by the end of September as I recall.
At the time, immediately after the ASCO presentation I was somewhat disgruntled because I thought that having to get 4 independent regulators from four different countries or jurisdictions to agree on anything would take years and years and years to do. Given how I know it is to work with the government and its agencies.
Scotty
Just to clarify.
It was not a steak dinner promise it was a steak dinner bet.
He buys me a steak if we have no news by the end of September and I buy him a steak if news and top line occurs before the end of September.
Since it was a bet I don’t believe either of us knows the exact truth of when the data is going to be presented.
I would presume by him taking the side of the bet saying that we would hear something before the end of September, means that he believed that would occur.
Kern
Yes basin and I agree. He (DI) needs to learn and instead say things like it will happen “in the future”. Or it will happen “shortly”.
So then people can debate ad nauseam what the definition of shortly is.
In geologic time For example, shortly can be many millions of years.
This seems especially true in dealing with any potential news regarding NWBO which is never timely.
I’m kind a hoping that nothing will happen in September so that he will still owe me a steak! Recall he made a verbal bet with me at the ASCO meeting that said we would know something by September.
On October 1, 2019 I will be requesting my steak at the best steakhouse in my area!!
I told the wife that the steak might be our only dividend by owning the stock!
He is staking his reputation on my steak!
No But radiation could.
Radiation also causes the tumors to go into a necrotic state and the tumor will present antigens more in the post radiated time period.
Thanks Mav
I believe Guy at ASCO most resembled Roger Perlmutter.
Photonic also saw him. Hey photonic would you agree??
Alpha
Who would benefit from not having this information out there now.
I suppose it would be someone who wants to pick up cheap shares.
Just joking.
I have been invested since 2014. So you will forgive me if I have a cynical humor regarding NWBO.
It seems sometimes that NWBO has the anti-Midas touch!
I do think that there is a very real possibility that NWBO will partner or have some arrangement that is mutually beneficial with Merck.
The Duffy employment further collaborates this view.
Furthermore the guy that I saw that appeared to be a pharmaceutical executive at the ASCO meeting presentation, said he was from the Philadelphia area.
And a lot of the research and development facilities for Merck are in the greater Philadelphia area. One of the largest involves vaccine development and neuroscience department. And it’s located just over an hour from Philadelphia.
Time will tell, but it does appear that there may be some partnership or relationship with Merck and NWBO. That’s what I’m speculating.
Yikes.
Merck is down 14 Billion.
The market must now becoming aware of the potential partnership between Merck and NWBO!!!
