Ha! A true freudian slip at an apropos time! This time feels different (and I am going to get bashed for that one).
maybe because Chris L took down his twitter page again, lol.
Indeed. Things are getting interesting price-wise. Highest recent close of .299 was June 1st of 2018. Highest Intra-day price of .315 was May 29th 2018, and testes three times since and failed. IMO, if we break through .315 and hold above .30 we are off to new highs above.341.
I don't think anyone is demonstrating outrageous exuberance? The valuation models have been debated for years. For me, I see price movement we haven't seen in several months. That's a positive. Technicals don't matter as much in an OTC stock, but there are those who follow them. Those are positive. The addition of Innes is a positive insomuch as it was mentioned by LP as part of her master plan. SO actually doing it is a positive. All said, yes, two million shares and a couple pennies of movement isn't what we are looking for. However, I do believe the timeframe of mid year ASCO top line. So as long as we continue to get to check the boxes on progress, per the ASM responses, I'll take it.
There is a lot of upside room if we can get past .31. And, you usually see more buyers if a stock makes a new 52 week high, which wouldn't be far from there. Then it's free flying to about .96. With News, all bets are off and anything could happen, including a potential short squeeze (If you are one of those who believes in the naked sharres on top of the 10 million that are known to be short per 2/15 FINRA)....
I just bought another 50,000 at .2725
Ugh, I know. I don't think there will be much day trading in this stock for long. There will be too much risk unless you are on the long side...;)
Almost all buying, very little selling, thus the large spread. No One is dumping shares into this. Strong IMO.
Just hit the highest intra-day price since 12/17/18....positive sign and confirms breakout SoJo mentioned yesterday. VOlume is strong so if we can hold her and keep moving up, looks very positive.
Looks like Woodford took another flyer in purplebricks, stock got crushed but he is still in the black. https://citywire.co.uk/investment-trust-insider/news/woodford-stock-purplebricks-dives-on-profit-warning/a1203076
Not for long....I believe we are finally in the 90 day stretch.
To the contrary Scotty, I believe this is part of the plan we have all been waiting for. What I see is:
1. More consistent information getting to us and the investment community.
2. Someone now dedicating their time (while LP gets the undlinding process done) to rebuilding credibility with company generated info, not AF naysayers info.
3. Being 100% ready upon data release to have investor interest there for investment...and starting now hopefully.
4. I believe the plan, based on ASM comments by LP and others there, is to get the share price over $1, get warrant money in, and to have enough institutional interest waiting for the eventual uplisting back to NASDAQ.
A plan like this and timing of his hire point to this IMO. If correct, this would cause a systematic landslide against any shorts, while bringing money into the company and allowing LP to negotiate the sale or licensing at much more favorable levels. As she said, "would you really want to be negotiating a deal to sell at these prices?" Paraphrased....
I agree. Yesterday I bought 50,000 more and tried to take an offer out only to be filled under ask and no movement upward. Possible once in a while, but unusual on a daily basis. Same thing happened on sell side when I was tax selling end of 18. Put in a sell ticket and every time a new lot comes in just under you.
yes, I believe this is one of the hires LP was referring to. Listen, LP has been shunned by wall street based on her lack of communication and move to OTC. You wouldn't bring on an industry insider unless you were mounting a reengagement process. I don't believe we will see quick action but it makes sense that you bring someone on now in anticipation of data lock, top line and unblinding. Once he has an understanding on where things stand he can be doing the behind the scenes work to grow investor interest as things unfold.
nice, finally someone from within the industry to help with the PPS. On website, but where is the newswire PR? Will this scare shorts or be a non-event?
If he calls the note after 4 months I wonder if he gets to keep the warrants? That would be a sweetheart deal for him...
Will this have any significance? Will Bigger call his $5 million on March 7th? "On November 7, 2018, Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) completed an aggregate financing of $5 million (the “Loans”) with investors (the “Lenders”)..... and subject to the holders’ rights to require prepayment of the principal and accrued interest after 4 months
I don't think people are unaware of the concept. I think people (myself included) are surprised Optune would use a keyword in their paid search ads for a yet unapproved product. More than that...unblinded, still in a trial....seems to me that they see competition or viability.
Same with me, never searched for optune and it appears at the top as a sponsored ad, DCVAX is right below.
Pretty good article. Certainly DCVAX is closest to the finish line. But, once again the blinded data at this late stage and the uncertainty of how the crossover (and pseudoprogression) will be treated is the issue. The long tail MAY be the savior, but that will still mature as you are having the discussions with FDA and others. All the more reason to get the data out there now.
I don;t believe it's due March 13th, just gives him an option to call the note I believe. It is my opinion that "out" was based on information the company gave him about timing. Possibly data lock announcement which would start the news flow of process timing, topline, and ultimately presentation of unblinded data at ASCO. Theory, yes, but based on SNO with Liau in December, ASM comments, and hopefully overlapping processes toward unblinding, that timeframe works for me...
I agree Bigger is in this for profit. Who isn't? While having the next SOC for a terrible disease is a huge positive for patients, we are all here to see the results and the stock go to KITE/JUNO levels, no? Bigger also has a $5 million loan, which has an out clause beginning at 4 months. That date, I believe is March 13th or thereabouts....so whatever info and NDA he received or signed gave him the comfort to invest real money. I believe all info we have been waiting for will begin to get released by mid-March.
I don't think so. I think the groundhog was right! We will have news and a lovely Spring in less than six weeks. I am not saying full unblinding but I believe we will have news on data lock, top line and ASCO presentation to start the upward move...
Big seller just now, makes no sense to me. I just bought into the sales and got 45,000 between .23 and.24.....head fake manipulation IMO. Every time I put a large buy in, MM's lower ask just below me.
agreed, not sure it was a failure. Maybe looked that way before pseudoprogression analysis. Either way better results than anything previously tried and OS and long tail are the home runs....
It it tightening every day/week. Support has been solid at .24 and resistance tough at .27. Last time we closed over .27 was December 13th! Seven failed attempts to break through. I think it is wound tight and any good news should get us through .27 and hold (with any decent volume). And, good, bad or indifferent, our new 52 week high is only .345 so that would be within range with good PR, IMO.
yes, but even through all the nonsense he hasn't sold! That's a good sign, IMO. Probably marked to market every year for losses, lol.
He has to file one every year. Did his ownership % change?
I guess there is no way to know for sure until mid-April....

Ok. I get it, nwbo is undervalued. Where is the Wall Street chatter? And, how is it coming soon when we likely won’t see top line release for months?
Care to enlighten us on “Wall Street chatter”?
Hoping we can tell tomorrow if NWBO files an abstract or placeholder for ASCO19....what would be even better is if they do, they PR to announce data lock and possibly have top line by ASCO....
The SAP I understand but does that preclude them from submitting an abstract with data or information they have in hand now? And, if it does not, could they ultimately update the abstract if they are indeed ready for top line or data lock announcement?
Does anyone know if we will be able to tell on February 12th if NWBO submits a abstract for ASCO? Or, how soon would we be able to tell? To me, if they do submit, it would be a great PR telegraphing plan of unblinding just prior to ASCO.
This lackluster volume is going to eventually drop us down again. There is just not enough excitement around the stock. Poor PR plan, I guess. We need more news, clarity and exposure go get past .27 and hold.
We need millions of dollars of trading t move this, not under a million shares. Investor relations and PR's help, but top line release or definitive positive statements are needed.
It would make sense that if it does move based on the crossover, .40 should not provide the resistance it did before.
I think that the post-ASM chatter is veering. Several items that may have been relevant at some point seem to be a waste to discuss now. My review of post-ASM MB responses seem to be more positive than negative and we have what seems to be definitive timeline (best we have had).
1. February 12th (?) abstract submission for ASCO19
2. April 16th Presentation at World Vaccine congress
3. From LP "We can better tell our story 3-4 months" and said more info would be forthcoming and more regular (paraphrasing)
4. A stated plan for PPS increase and investor awareness. (paraphrasing)
5. ONGOING data collection and concurrent processes for "pedal to the metal" data lock and trial end/unblinding/SAP. (paraphrasing)
Everything in the past is in the past. NO ONE here likes how Linda makes the sausage. So, stop looking and hold on for the ride over the next few months, or sell. The rest is noise IMO.
Thanks Ike (and all) for your efforts and reporting. I have been in the investing world for 30 years, starting on wall street in '88. I found this company when my brother was diagnosed with GBM, lost his battle like almost everyone else. I have to say I have never been involved with such high-level analysis and understanding of a very complicated technology, by shareholders. After you strip out the usual MB naysayers and shorts this is an educated, informed and knowledgeable group. You all keep me confident in my investment and the end-game of help for GBM patients. Risk, yes......educated, calculated risk, that's what I am feeling today.
I did not provide a timeline, merely suggested it would be bad, as they have in the past, not given information for long periods of time. I suggested 6 months as meaning they could go quiet until after ASCO.
