Don't really care anymore. I did my DD and have to go with it.
I am off this Boulevard of Broken Dreams - lost about a third of my investment in EEGC and there is a time when you have to say, that's enough. I will be back when they get their act together, and probably at a much lower price.
Must be cold in Tasmania now. Bitter cold. Maybe in their spring.
Don't take my word for it.
I am just telling you what the operations manager told me.
I didn't press him for more because he did not feel right about discussing too much.

It is about 6am in Lonsdale AUS now.
I called Hunt before the last PR about the mast and they said they haven't been paid in 6 months of being onsite. He would not say what they would do.
Well, I can understand that, if it is a personal line of credit. I wonder what he put up as collateral thats worth $50 mil.
Any idea what his net worth is? Is he listed on any Who's Who or Wealthiest lists? Any deep background? We are relying on his ability to perform. Would like to know more about him.
He sure is taking a long time for something that sounded like a done deal.
You are right, that's why I am here. As I said I read your posts, and doesn't it strike you as amazing that here on investorshub with countless bargain seekers posting, this amazing company is getting no love? So many days talking to yourself.
With FSLR at $160+?
And trading volume today, 7000 shares? $700! It's like the French Foreign Legion here. Like being on an island talking to a coconut, no offense.
Howard, will Malcolm need to file something with the SEC when he gets his financing? Has the fact of no new SEC docs on this financing tell you anything?
I'm Tired!
performed in: "Blazing Saddles" (1974)
song by: Mel Brooks
sung by Lilly Von Schtupp - Madeline Kahn
Here I stand, the goddess of Desire,
set men on fire,
I have this power,
morning noon and night it's drink and dancing,
some quick romancing,
and then a quick shower,
stage door johnnies always surround me,
they always hound me,
with one request,
who can satisfy their lustful habits,
I'm not a rabbit!
I need some rest!
I'm tired,
sick and tired of love,
I've had my fill of love,
from below and above,
tired,
tired of being admired,
tired of love uninspired,
let's face it,
I'm tired!
I've been with 1000's of men,
again and again,
they promise the moon,
they always coming and going,
going and coming,
and always too soon!
Right girls?
I'm tired,
tired of playing the game,
ain't it a crying shame?
I'm so tired,
God dammit I'm tired!
Hello cowboy, what's your name?
Tex 'mam
Tex 'mam ? Tell me Tex'mam, are you in show business?
No
We'll then why don't you get your freaking feet off here
La ha
Ah ha he hu...
Hello handsome, is that a 10 gallon hat? Or are you just enjoying the show?
Ah ha ah...
Oh miss lilly, oh my laby, oh my pussy cat, put it there baby, put it... ohhhhh
I'm tired,
tired of playing the game,
ain't it a crying shame,
I'm so tired
[soldiers:]
she's tired
-she's tired
sick and tired of love
-give her a break
she's had her fill of love
-she's not a snake
from bellow and above
-can't you see she's sick?
tired
-she's bushed
tired of being admired
-let her alone
tired of love uninspired
-get off the phone
she's tired
-don't you know she's pooped?
I've been with 1000's of men,
again and again,
they sing the same toon,
the start with Byron and Shelly,
and jump on your belly,
and bust your ballon!
aye!
tired,
tired of playing the game,
ain't it a freakin shame,
I'm so...
let's face it,
everything below the waist is kapput!
Hmm. Visions of Grandeur. Slight Ego Awareness. Dirty Feet.
Gentlemen, I give you Howard Hughes, reborn! LOL! ;->
Do you all realize that Hunt has had the drill set up there for six months now? Why would they do that, if they did not think this was gonna happen, that they would get paid and strike oil?
It doesn't make sense for them to stay if they didn't think it would happen.
It's like the scene in the courtroom of "Miracle on 34th St." when John Payne has the Court Bailiffs bring in the US Mail letters addressed to Santa Claus North Pole, and if the US Post Office believes this Santa is The Santa, he must be Santa! Case dismissed!
It is sooooooooooooooooooooo boring on this board I read all 110 posts.
Except for the 18th, when we hit 15 million shares, volume has been about 2 million shares a day for the last two weeks, about 4 times the average.
And I know Howard is not buying all those shares.
When we achieve some turnover to new hands, price will rise.
dd,
It is a beautiful day in California, too. Just looked at the chart. Stock is above the 200, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and the 3 day moving average! One think I know is that there is no one selling their shares in this stock. Only way to go is up. The two recent PR/Updates from Squires foretell what will be an incredible story.
The ability to set up production virtually anywhere with low cost of materials compared to industry standards. The revolutionary high electricity output per panel.
The split into two companies - solar panels and other quantum dots applications. The standstill agreement till Oct 2 to get all this rolling, hire management and start producing. All the ducks are in a row.
No volume on this stock. The crowd is stunned by the enormity of the potential of this company. One man in the crowd starts applauding slowly. Then another. And another. Until the whole stadium is a wall of thunderous cheers.
It could happen.
Rereading the two most recent PR's-
- Noteholders and Creditors are at standstill till Oct. 2
- There is a European Organization, plus the Saudis and France
that are potential deep pockets for private funding and a facility.
- Reorganization with a business plan by a top flight planning co., Phoenix Alliance, which is intimately involved with Solterra.
- Split into two companies (can anyone explain reason?).
- Possible US Govt funding in line with Obama science project plans.
Clearly, Squires is in control with a plan.
While we do not have instantaneous gratification, we have a game changer in a company that can roll out production with low cost startup production compared to industry standard, with a superior product. Powered by the sun.
I fail to see the downside in this. Anybody?
In related news Allah, Buddah, Jehovah and Elvis all endorsed Hague Corp.'s Solterra Quantum Dots Solar Technology. Spokesangel for the group, Archangel Michael said, "they feel so strongly about Quantum Dots they had to break their silence this one time."
The endorsement had no effect on stock prices.
Someone dumped 2 mil shares. in 3 trades of 600k, 700k and 800k @ average price of .025 cents just after opening. Thats about $50000 worth of shares. Price up from low of day of .021 back to .025. Noone else is selling. Nothing else has changed as far as we know it. There were buyers for all those shares at a bargain price. While it does not look good, it seems this was the work of one seller as the sales were a uniform amount and about the same time. The price will come back on positive news.
Market opened up. We will see highter volume today and I bet we hit resistance at .12 cents. If we top that, we will go higher.
Really, Saudi Arabia spends $6 million as a tip for breakfast in a diner. They have money out the kazoo. This is nothing for them as an investment. I mean, Saudi sheiks buy huge stock purchase of Citibank. Of course, that wasn't such a good investment for them, but hey, maybe they just became better investors!
Saudi Arabia and France? Couldn't they get any GOOD countries?
LOL! Kidding. That is impressive. Press and investors seem to be ignoring the news in the market downturn. I picked up more shares yesterday. This is a 25 bagger, IMHO.
Wow, all this time I thought they were just twiddling their thumbs at Arizona State. Squires must really have it on the ball.
Didn't I read they had a loan or investment from SE Asia, too?
Soon this will be a highly visited place. Spruce it up a bit, DD, huh?
Vincent, I hate to disagree with you, because I love this stock, but based on technical analysis, there is a ton of resistance at .045, .06, .09, .14. and .19 cents. This stock made a lot of stops on its slow ride down to the basement of junior explorer oil stocks. It is significant that EEGC closed below the resistance.
I hope that we will pop to .09 on the next news of drilling starts, because that is where the .07 stock offering make sense, and this does not work without that offering being successful.
If they are smart they will have a weekly update showing progress to prove they are not a fraud. There are a lot of people who won't believe it until there is a gusher.
Real money won't be made until EEGC has a drilling report on the first hole, and then what it takes to say you have proven reserves.
I am up 42 percent today on my investment from last friday.
My smallest investment has the potential to become my biggest.
Good luck to all!
I want to remind everyone that stocks don't go straight up forever. There will be consolidation as people take profits and others come on board. The Beacon Report gives a price target of .94 cents as a speculative buy. Let's get there first and then decide if we want to sell. Of course, that share price only makes the Market Cap about $240 million, and if we have a billion barrels of oil, not to mention the natural gas, oh, I can't count that high. Oh, well. Oh, Bellevue Well.
The beauty of the financing announcement is that Bendall guarantees the full subscription, therefore the full $9+ million to get the drilling going. By guaranteeing to buy the remainder of shares not bought, he may not have to buy any, because investors will know that the offering will sell out and not hesitate to buy all they can. I know I will. He doesn't even need financing because Perception is Everything!
I think it is genius of leadership.
'But when I said that nothing had been done I erred in one important matter. We had definitely committed ourselves and were halfway out of our ruts. We had put down our passage money--booked a sailing to Bombay. This may sound too simple, but is great in consequence. Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, the providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I learned a deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets:
Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!'
by W. H. Murray in The Scottish Himalaya Expedition, 1951.
Pura Vida! Good Hunting Monday!

CEO of Empire Announces Personal Arrangement to Secure a US$ 50 Million Line of Credit to Be Made Available to Empire
LEAWOOD, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Malcolm Bendall, Chief Executive Officer of Empire Energy Corporation International (Empire) (OTCBB: EEGC.OB) (OTCBB: EEGC) today announced that he received written notice of approval to provide him US$50 million for the purpose of providing financing to Empire. Initially, Mr. Bendall intends to use the proceeds of this financing to take down his Rights in the Rights Offering currently under review by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (www.sec.gov) followed by taking down his over allotment option to the extent that other Rights Holders fail to exercise. Additionally, to the extent necessary, Mr. Bendall will provide financing to the company, if necessary, prior to the effectiveness of the Rights Offering registration statement, and subsequent thereto with a view toward completing the drilling of Bellevue #1 and Thunderbolt #1 exploration wells in Empire's Tasmanian basin Special Exploration License (SEL13/98) on successful completion of the financial arrangements. In addition, funding is intended to finance the seismic, drilling and further exploration in the concessions SEL 4/2009 and 5/2009, to include the coal bed methane horizons in the SEL 13/98 tenement, which have been applied for by Empire and for which award is expected shortly. Further updates will be provided as soon as more details are available regarding this financing.
YAHOO0000000000000000000000!
BENDALL DID IT!
FINANCING ANNOUNCED!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Very positive press release. Would like to know when they will produce first panel to test. Any idea of timeline? this will be a great company. problem is getting into production.
Jim,
Good for you, reporting your phonecall to the Tasmania phone number. He sounded sincere. He could not tell you what to do, or what they found, but he told you he wasn't selling. I appreciate the info. It tells me, same as you, that if the workers are keeping their shares closely held, they may have found oil and they think the stock will rise.
I have been disappointed with managements lack of updates on the drilling. It was to start mid April. BUT - if they have found what they expected, they have to take it to the lab to be assayed, plus they may be taking the time to solidify their investors who will finance ongoing drilling, prior to release of the news, when the stock will rise.
Frankly, I was a little surprised also that EEGC did not rise with therise in oil prices before just now. This is not a oil price play, it is a discovery - added resources play, which is better.
Go EEGC!
Whoa! My 10 million shares are worth more than $100.
I can't believe it.Only a couple of thousand before
I break even. I see the light~
The chairman must be in the hole a lot more than me to scarf up
$75k to see if his investment is any good.
He has to have faith!
You can't play if you don't pay.
Step right up and lay your money down!
Who wants to double down on their investment?
whats the latest on the estimate of outstanding shares?
I haven't been around lateley...
