bbstock re ITCV....
Just my take, if MMs were dumping at .005 do you think they'd want to risk taking it back to .005 with the possibility they'd get the shares back?
stocks247 i'm not bashing anything....
nor am i pumping....i'm expressing my views and opinions. if you don't agree with me that's fine. The only reason anyone would be upset with my very tame comments is if they're dumping anyway....
looks like classic otcbb right now imo wo0d......
Run at the open with stockprowler picking it....buyers rush in thinking it's gonna be a big runner, then it hits a wall...MMs move alot of shares...Now can they get it over .005 without getting those same shares dumped back on them? I'm guessing they already have shares they're looking to move.
Good luck
thanks domer
BTW, did you get my email?
Do ya think ITCV can get back to .005?
If it does will there be some bailing?
no worries hawk...FYI
hotstockchat has ITCV in their email blast today, alot happening to attract buyers right now. Good luck and congrats on your gains.
hawk...
When stocks are being pumped and dumped (WNMI, IBZT, SEIH) I've found that anyone who discusses the negatives, no matter how reasonably....is labeled a basher.
bashing???? I'm not bashing ITCV
I'm just discussing it. What??? If you don't fall head over heels in love with a stock you're a basher all of a sudden? This is the OTC and what I like about i-hub is we can discuss things politely and maturely. Stocks on the otcbb get pumped and then the bottom falls out all the time, it's not bashing to point out reality.
It's down to .004 last check hawk...
Good luck with it...the stockprowler excitement got it to .005 near the open, looks like bbstock played it right.
what good things hawk? re ITCV
All I've seen is one PR this month with the usual OTC hyperbole, "we believe", "we expect" etc. Looks to me like without tradersnation/stockprowler et al promoting it'd probably still be around .0015 imo.
you might be right hawk..re ITCV
tradersnation already touted it once, and hotstockchat is due to send out their email blast today. how high do you think it can get pumped?
bb_stock re ITCV...
Check out the RB board for ITCV, looks like the same players from pumps like IBZT and GZFX...IBZT and others.
domer...check your email eom
should be a good play globeking....
Doubt it'll hold any gains long term but this is the OTC after all.
did anyone listen to tradersnation today?
Was ITCV mentioned?
bb_stock, was ITCV mentioned on tradersnation?
Or anyone else who listened....I tune in during the evenings.
nemo...
I started that yahoo groupies site on Aug. 16th...so maybe that had something to do with the run....it has had some runs but the results aren't there.
Nemo re FXGP....
I think you had it pegged when you said every POS has it's turn or something like that...FXGP is no longer within 3% of the 200DMA. C'est la guerre, better than the .004 it was at in August I guess.
domer if your ears are on....
Gimme a call
OT domer....check your PM at maxx eom
FXGP almost touching the 200DMA....
Less than 3% separating the PPS from the 200DMA right now...check the BOT board for breakout candidates FXGP listed as a bottom buster.
FXGP almost touching the 200DMA......
FXGP ask up to .0064....200DMA getting close
Already 98% there.....watching for a break above. Homeland Security angle shouldn't hurt
Omni just added FXGP to his bottom buster list......
It's at the bottom out of alphabetical sequence, but it's there.
FXGP a late addition?
I notice it's at the bottom...out of the alphabetical sequence of the rest. Just an FYI, there'a a yahoo group set up less than 3 weeks ago that already has 35 members, not spamming it...just an FYI:
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/finxgroupies/
January's PoP for FXGP happened with no news....
Now there's the potential for financing and acquisitions last referenced in a July 27 update....
A note on FXGP's volume....
I was thinking about what you said re FXGP's volume. But something occurred to me. If you look at the accumulation/distribution chart FXGP shows heavy accumulation over the past year:
And both the float and oustanding are both listed at about 750 million:
http://www.otcbb.com/profiles/fxgp.htm
Just this year alone I calculate that FXGP has reported trading 2,915,304,874 shares. That's almost 4 times the outstanding. If FXGP is being accumulated as indicated by the chart....Then how many times can the float turn over?
It's not like CKMX or IBZT with tons of news, hype and promotion...and billions of shares to flood the market.
Anyway it's something to think about...I think if you look at other stocks that have broken out you'll see that the volume didn't happen until the breakout was already well under way. Basically, if you wait for the volume it seems you miss the chance to buy at or even close to the lows.
Nemo re FXGP...Breakout coming?
I was looking at the "Break Out Trading" (BOT) board and the board's description has some notes about stocks that are good break out candidates. Included is this part:
"Break Out Trends - 200 DMA
Stocks that are within 3% of breaking the 200 DMA on a daily chart. These are very explosive break outs..."
I have FXGP's 200DMA calculated at .0064542, so with FXGP closing Friday at .0063 that's 98% (97.89) of the 200DMA. FXGP actually moved to within 3% on Thursday but how much can you expect from the trading on the Friday before the last long weekend of the summer.
The BOT board also talks about support at the 5 and 10 DMAs with consolidation near the upperside of the bollinger bands:
&r=3515>
It looks to me like FXGP might just be a poster child for what omni is describing
oh i know....FXGP's avg 20 day volume is 1.6 million
Not bad, but not a lot. And with only 1 PR in all of August and no promoters hyping the stock right now...well it's not hard to see why volumes aren't higher....
I remember when ONEV's volume shot up...it was very low and then it just took off. I got an email about it when it was just 7 or 8 cents, but the volumes had been very low to that point. That same day it shot up to 15 or 20 cents on much heavier volume.
I forgot to mention the Homeland Security angle here. FXGP right now has no sales or revenue to speak of, but they have binding agreements to acquire 2 separte companies pending financing.
Do you think the 50% + gain the stock has seen in the past month has anything to do with expectations for successful completion of that finacing? If they acquire the companies and start getting some promotion then maybe volumes will pick up to the levels you're suggesting.
How high do you think it could go in that case? "Explosive" is kind of vague, some would think a 50% gain in just a month is explosive.
I was just reading the board here (re FXGP)
I didn't see anything about how much volume is needed, just that stocks within 3% of the 200DMA...that they have explosive breakouts...
Here's what it says:
Break Out Trends - 200 DMA
Stocks that are within 3% of breaking the 200 DMA on a daily chart. These are very explosive break outs
Examples: UVCL 10/03, CESY 10/03, IVOC 09/03, ADOT 10/03 - Study those charts & you will see what happens when a stock crosses the 200 DMA.
FXGP is at 98% of the 200 day moving average....
It's also "consolidated near the uperside of the bollinger bands" and has support at the 5 and 10 DMAs. It's above the 32 DMA and has been making higher highs and higher lows since the middle of August.
But who knows....volume could hit over 100 million on a day next week, it happened before. I just wonder how much higher than .0063 it might be if/when that happens.
FXGP needs 100MM volume????
Personally I doubt it, the OS and float are both right around 750 million...
http://www.otcbb.com/profiles/fxgp.htm
But 100 million did happen 1 day in January on no news, so maybe 100 million could trade in a day again. After that it ran right up to just shy of 2 cents...That would be a nice gain from it's current .00630
Of course if they annouce financing and acquistions as previoulsly mentioned....Who knows?
I think that's what kept FXGP from breaking out so far....
1.6 million as a 20 day average isn't bad for a stock with only 1 PR in all of August. I agree about breakouts occuring on larger volume typically...
With FXGP at 98% of the 200 DMA I'd keep a close eye...I do think an explosive breakout is very possible. If it occurs I'd be surprised if the volume isn't above the 20 day average of 1.6 million or so.
Oh, it needs volume??? FXGP
I didn't see that on the board's header....it's averaging about 1.6 million per day, 20 day average.
Is that enough volume to break out? The PPS is at 98% of the 200DMA so that's supposed to be explosive. Can't wait for next week.
Its above the 32 DMA too, and has consolidated above the 5 and 10...
FXGP - Primed for a breakout?
The header for the board includes this:
Break Out Trends - 200 DMA
Stocks that are within 3% of breaking the 200 DMA on a daily chart. These are very explosive break outs
Given FXGP's chart, I guess if these breakout theories bear out this could be a stock everyone is talking about.
T_A_P, I see you picked up on FXGP.....
This one looks like a perfect storm brewing in my opinion...best part is, right now they're not being hyped. The PPS is @ 98% of the 200DMA and you can see the channel yourself.
FXGP, closed even on light volume....
And still within 3% of the 200DMA, one of the breakout indicators listed here.
FXGP...No thoughts???
Doesn't matter that it's at 98% of the 200DMA....Does that only apply to stocks using promoters?
FXGP at 98% of the 200DMA....almost touching
Got there interday on Thurs...no news, it's quiet....at least for now.
&r=2580>
FXGP - Breakout Chart?
-Consolidating near the top of the bollinger bands
-Above the 5 and 10 day moving averages, support
-Trending above the 32DMA
-PPS 98% of the 200DMA (within 3%)
&r=6140>
&r=2580>
Any thoughts? Not alot of chatter about this one.
Nemo, re FXGP (thoughts and chart).....
With no news and no tout sheets covering FXGP, Wednesday's volume was surprising. It's been making a nice steady climb and is within spitting distance of the 200 DMA (simple moving average).
I'm not sure if you're aware but they announced binding agreements to acquire 2 separate companies pending financing, last referenced in a shareholder update July 27. I'm hopeful that the market direction is indicative of the market expecting successful completion of that financing.
