I took it as just a pun.
What surprises me is Cotton is the one alias that should have gotten my date reference.
Everyone's a trader depending on their time frame, cost basis and shares held.
Your last post on the LIWA board was in several months ago. Looks good for now.
I call BS because these days with Chinese stocks months is closer to "investing" than trading unless you know something that I don't.
I just lost my mind.
If you say so. The logic of it escapes me.
And having followed the fever from 2008 until now, I'm fairly aware of what has been pumped (some of the biggest frauds) and what wasn't. Almost every china play has been dumped.
I'll zip it now.
Good luck with your board(s).
Then I expect more silence here. What's the point in posting news?
Well if so then that raises the question: Why?
The posting silence on this board is certainly remarkable now considering there are still 900+ followers.
It's clearly a coincidence that this boards quick rise in popularity so closely coincided with the 2009 -2010 Chinese RTO fever.
Any LIWA buyers here?
5000 posts Congratulations!
Now consider this 4 year old information.
Guster - note I gave only a date and not a year.
The board has speculated on "all things Lehman" for years now and this one is purely just fun for me. I did do some due diligence however and picked a date I thought might be appropriate for the situation.
not that I know of, though "birthday" could be loosely applied I suppose.
I didn't know that JHawg.
If true that's certainly an interesting coincidence considering how I came up with it as a speculative date.
June 20th.
Member mark for anyone who figures out how I chose it. lol!
Boots on the ground and all a couple of years ago.
And which tools did they use to make the most of their efforts (money)?
The hammer up, then the sickle, and finally the ax?
Who here would bet a small wager that geoinvesting (among others) knew directly or indirectly?
The first to exit was Rodman, then Roth, now Red Chip.
Though Roth didn't completely exit, it just reduced its shadow.

Irony, incompetence, manipulation, fraud or simply a case of investing codependents spanning years. Who could possibly have known the Chinese government might not play nice with the PCAOB?
No surprise there other than DG is waving his white flag.
Send Kaizer a holla back!

Puck off. Possibly a viable business model if you can hijack a shell.
Clever certainly!
Other than the funny posts found on these and other boards, I often get a good giggle at "market pulse" traders.
Dirt devils!
I'm off to watch "The Wizard".
Ghostestes, debils and lairs oh my! Try this one on for a laugh.
Just an observation but the headline for that article is incredibly misleading.
The V= thanks.
Oh yeah.
Just follow the dancing elves.
If I remember during the "perfect tequila drunken - got parlay" days the time frame according to the media was 2-3 years from 2008.
Only 3 or 4 more years to become really wealthy. Buy everything you can get now at the "five & dime".
It will be interesting to see if everyone can keep up posting with DD until 2016.
You can find just about anything on youtube.
Yes I read that one too. Disgusting to say the least. Five weeks in a Columbian or Mexican jail would be more of a deterrent.
"Biremis traders had access to about $2.4 billion in buying power in 2009, according to the S.E.C. But the broker had been sanctioned by regulators in several countries, including Canada and Britain.
Peter Beck, 57, and Charles Kim, 40, the owners of Biremis, were fined $250,000 each and barred from the industry. Mr. Beck also helped found Swift Trade."
Whoop de doo! Anyone think they will find a way around that bar.
Interesting knife #2
FOLD
oh yeah....
Speaking of your knives

Great timing eh?
Thanks TooGood.
TooGood - Perhaps you could find the post number since you know what you are referring to? Or maybe cotton can repost it.
The edgar link had no recent filing information and posts are still being deleted. Connecting the dots would then be easier for many.
I think knot.
In the Pirates of the Caribbean "At Worlds's End" sense.
It's a wonderful classic. Props to your mom.
I'd never seen the one DG posted and I liked it. So just replied to his post with the first movie that popped into my consciousness.
