ETIMlurker.. An "update" on AKC delays is buried at the bottom of a Precious Moments PR. This is pretty evasive by ETIM.
Zoofire.. I emailed IR.. They said the "last PR" said March 15th.. I emailed them back and said the Friday PR said 2nd Quarter. I got a "oh, I'll find out what's going on.".
Haven't heard back yet.
Haven't gotten a reply from any of the other addresses.
Of course I own shares of the company. All I want is some answers, it's not too much to ask I don't think. You might not want those answers, that's fine for you. But I prefer answers in my investments when things go wrong, especially pink sheets which have a long dark history.
My bad.. (eom).
I'm not worried about the shipment delays.. Things happen, I understand this. I've worked in manufacturing industry. Stuff breaks down. This happens, that happens.. I understand.
I just would like to know what happened and I don't think that's too much to ask for. ETIM shareholders wear their gravy bibs everyday waiting for the PR to come out because the company never doles out any negative developments. Well bad things happen in business (and apparently did here) Big boy companies own up to these things to their shareholders.
Actually I wouldn't even need a PR.. I just want Investor Relations to know what the hell is going on, and they have no clue either.
If you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to reply to my post. I was just correcting somebody's facts thats all.
I like to invest responsibly. I'll point out in discrepencies of every stock I own and believe in. I prefer everything to be ironed out. I'm sorry you don't like this, but again, you aren't forced to reply to my posts.
mojocash.. Just making sure the facts are on the board that's all. You object to incorrect statements being corrected?
MrSpark.. Incorrect according to the latest PR on Friday.
Thank you 1inHim. I just feel regardless of how great things are looking now, questions should always be asked by shareholders. If something questionable arises (like it has) it should be scrutizined by all shareholders, not buried under a bunch of "oh whatever shortie" posts.
Not asking questions is just irresponsible investing. Yes you have the right to invest irresponsibly, but launching attacks against those that want to ask questions is just mindboggling.
People have thrown their money blindly as such ventures as QBID, CMKX, and thousands of other pinks. If they asked the important questions in the beginning, they wouldn't of found themselves in those messes. (For instance, people just totally ignored that QBID's CEO had a long criminal record).
I believe in ETIM and their product. I've stated repeatedly that this stock has $1+ billion market cap potential. When things go awry however, I would like to be updated and not kept in the dark. I don't think that's too much to ask.
Let's hope that "reason" is done with Superbee383.. Still waiting to see A/F's to see if the company subscribed any stock to anybody. IR couldn't give me a definitive answer on this.
A/F's will certaintly clean up alot of the air around this to help it move (assuming there's nothing negative in there).
It will run. I still want management to be honest and up front about developments, good or bad.
EI has a tremendous "can't miss" product and very bright future. I just don't want to see the shadiness that has plagued many a pink sheet.
I was allowing other investments to mature Superbee. I didn't know ETIM existed until 3 weeks ago. I'm sure there are a dozen or so promising pinks out there that I don't know about either. I'm not concerned with them either.
And just so you know. More dilution is still possible with ETIM. The A/F's will give us the answers we should be looking for.
If Donna used "On or about March 1st" with intention of early-April being in that "on or about", then the companies should make sure she shouldn't be quoted in PRs anymore.
The company told Cherrybrook that shipments would begin in early/mid-March. Cherrybrook told their customers the same.
Not stretching anything. Just asking the serious questions. I still think the investment is great.. Risk/Reward is out of this f'ing world.
There still should be questions asked. We shouldn't all just be humming along wearing our gravy bibs.
Important questions should always and constantly be asked with pinkies, and the company should be prepared to answer these questions (and they weren't as per IR has no clue what's going on!).
January 17th - "We are pleased to announce that production of the urns has already begun and that shipment will begin on or about March 1," said Donna Shatter, vice president of operations for Eternal Image. "Our production and design team worked overtime to make this early launch possible because pre-orders through the AKC and Cherrybrook have been strong and interest in the product has been high."
February 8th - FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image caskets and urns, today announced that it plans to ship 1,000 American Kennel Club(TM) (AKC) pet urns in the first 100 days of availability. Distribution begins March 15.
March 9th - The company’s other three original product lines
include Major League Baseball™ (with eight urns available this month and the first eight caskets available this summer) and the Vatican Library Collection™ (launched in January ’07 with one urn and another coming this summer.) The fourth license includes pet urns with American Kennel Club™ (shipping in the second quarter.) Since announcing its initial product lines, the company has added the Cat Fanciers’ Association (with urns available later this year.)
All I want to know is what happened from January 17th to last week?
If they aren't willing to PR negative developments, then they shouldn't be sending out PR's about "upping production, working overtime to get these out by March 1st"
That's all I'm saying. All the Fluff PR with no negative PRs (when their clearly wsas a problem) is just becoming a yellow flag.
qaswaseas.. I hope so, and I believe so. However this is still a pink sheet. The company should not be burying negative developments from investors. That is a a pink sheet trademark that I don't want associated with this company.
3 weeks ago many talked about managements up-front honest disclosure. Well.. It's been anything but the truth on this issue.
Free Nebula.. I'm not allowed to be concerned about production delays that nobody at the company has given an answer about?
From January 18th to March 8th.. what, 50 days or so? Projected Shipment Date has been delayed by more than a month. No answers. This company has no problem putting out very positive PR's (about moving the shipment dates up), but they haven't even bothered sending out a PR about the shipment delays.
I've invested in pinkies a long time. PRing the great news and burying the bad news. This is a very serious yellow flag (borderline red).
Superbee383.. Then shareholders should be notified of why there is a delays. IR should have a clue about what's going on.
You may not care about why shipments keep getting delayed, you're entitled to not care. But as a shareholder, I have the right to know why.
A few months ago they talked about stepping up production and getting the AKC urns out early.. They moved the date from Mid March to March 1st to March 15th to now 2nd Quarter.. And we haven't got a single answer as to why.
If this was a well established company, I wouldn't be concerned. But this is still a stinky pink and a company in its infancy. We deserve an answer.
Stockwiser.. A big deal out of nothing? I think constantly moving the date of shipment and not being notified why is more than just some "little thing". As shareholders we should be notified, and IR should have somewhat a clue about what's going on.
What does that have to do with their IR?
rrm_bcnu nope.. never tossed a single dime in this black hole.
First class PR firm.. Third-World Investor Relations firm.
I'll say this.. Investor relations that ETIM has working for them appears incompetent.
I asked them when AKC urn shipment begins.. They replied, "As far as I know distribution begins March 15th, according to our Press Release of Feb. 8th".
Well Tony Fazio, the March 9th PR says 2nd quarter so you apparently have no idea what's going on. IR should be finding out answers to these questions before just answering on a whim without knowing the facts.. Also On Jan 18th, Donna said on or about March 1st. So the date continues to be pushed back.
All I want is them to be upfront and honest as to why the AKC urn shipment date keeps getting pushed back, and they just have no clue.
rrm_bcnu, more spin from the doctor.. Turek has become professional at parsing words and not revealing the truth in PRs.
$80,000,000 in sales. The statement by him just sends up more red flags about Turek and his company.
Superbee383.. Please read my posts before you respond to them. You continue to mischaracterize my position with your responses. Thank you.
Those 2500 urns will represent around $1.5m in revenue.
An August 9th, 2006 PR stated that production of those urns began on that day.. On November 16th they said they signed off on the 2500, So. 3 months.
-
A concern I have.. In the Jan 17th PR, Donna Shatter said shipments of the AKC urns will begin on or about March 1st.
"Our production and design team worked overtime to make this early launch possible because pre-orders through the AKC and Cherrybrook have been strong and interest in the product has been high."
Well apparently not because I haven't seen a PR lately confirming that shipments are heading out (as they did the Vatican urns in November), so it looks like their was a hitch in production. I hope management updates shareholders on this soon.
twogreen2c.. Nobody loses money until they sell. Apparently alot on here forgot that concept.
I have stated repeatedly that I would not care if the stock price shot up tomorrow, but I would not care if it dropped either. I am holding this company for years either way. I appear to be the only person on this board that isn't concerned with short-term fluctuations. There appears to be many just waiting for this thing to hit .004 or .005 so they can take their profits and run. I am not one of them.
I simply want to acquire as many shares as possible as funds become available to me. How this is a negative thing to you if you're a long-term investor, I have no idea. The only people that my position would offend would be those looking for a quick pop so they can lock up a quick buck.
Again, why do you elect to respond to me without actually reading my posts and understanding my position.
That's your choice.. It would probably take .40 ($1 billion offer) to get the shares away from me today.
5 years from now EI may very likely be doing $200m+ in revenue/year.. a $250m buyout offer (.10 under current share structure) is selling this company WAY too short.
Be patient and you'll be better than just pain free.
yo.. The Vatican LIbrary urns are already being sold and shipped.
They were selling before the AKC dog urns.
From a November 28th PR about CreativeGen : "The first product, L'Italiano Classico from The Vatican Library Collection (TM) line, became available this month. Additional products from other lines will be introduced beginning in the first quarter of 2007."
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 16, 2006 -- Eternal Image, Inc. (Other OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image caskets and urns, today announced that its quality assurance representative has signed off on the shipment of the first order of 2,500 urns from China.
These were 2500 L'Italiano Classico urns.
Number of shares is irrelevant to whether a buy-out would be expensive "Lurker".
If Hillebrand offers $250m for the company, we're getting .10/share.. If shares outstanding is 1.25b, we'd be getting .20/share..
You should know better than this
I'm not sure about you, but I would cast my shares against a .10/share offer today.
avdave.. Why don't you tell me what this company does in revenue per year?
Turek said it would add $80,000,000 in sales.
Is Turek lying again? Why is your CEO making vague, rather untrue statements to the public?
Wow.. what a Chief Executive Officer.. We get told one thing by the guy, then we all have to go double check to make sure he's telling us the truth. And lord behold, HE'S NOT!
This is the guy you invest your hard earned money in?
stockwiser.. This is true if they want the deal done. But say they get a call from Hillenbrand and HB has $20m-$30m up front for exclusive licensing rights? What's the NFL going to say? No?
I know you don't want to hear it, but you just need to wakeup to the reality that Hillenbrand and other casket manufacturers aren't going to sit on their laurels here and just get run out of town by this new startup.
If I wanted to keep the price down, why do I keep posting that if just 30 funeral homes sell 1 casket a month, the company will clear $1m in revenue for the year.
Wouldn't I want to not inform potential new investors of that?
Again, I have no problem with the price stock going up.. I also have no problem with it sticking around at these levels in the short-term, because I know where it's going to be in the intermediate and long-term when the revenue numbers start coming out.
stockwiser: sir, I have the common sense to know that a single poster isn't going to bring down this stock or raise this stock price one tick. I have no illusions about holding the stock price down.
Why can't I discuss pitfalls?
And again.. Hillenbrand won't take forever to enter this business. Bet on it.
The thing about pinkies and Eternal Image is that Eternal Image actually has a product that can make money and it's more profitable for them to actually produce and sell it than it would be to run a typical pinky scam.
I believe most pink sheet companies start out honestly with honest people who think they have a great idea for a business.
Things don't go so well after a couple years and they are losing money, so they print more (issue).. then they get hooked on it and just keep doing it again and again and figure, "eh, this is easier than actually running the business".
ETIM has a real product that's going to be high demand. They would make a fraction of the money trying to scam shareholders, that they would otherwise make by selling their product.
Decipher Jim Turek's spin for me then please..
"Plasticon International, Inc. has the intention of acquiring 100% of AV-CB Developments, which will add more than $80,000,000 in sales to the Company."
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/070309/0224849.html
$80m in sales per year? $80m in sales over the next 5 years? $80m in sales in the next 20 years?
What is it Jimbo? I see Jim is trying to mislead people again, because the interpretation I get from that statement, (and most people) is that they are doing $80m a year.
Parllament would certaintly know better than Mytych.
By saying "Chances are" you are impling there's greater chance of them not getting it done?
Haha.
Microsoft built computers and infrastructure?
amrca.. Say what?
I didn't know IBM started out in the Computer Software industry. and I didn't know Microsoft built computers either.
Learn something new everyday.
Actually it wasn't until Gerstner took over in 93, that IBM began developing their software business.
