I am with you on this point. When I talked to Frank today I just get the feeling money is coming in. Just a gut feeling.
Thanks I got the feeling they are getting private funds and they will then screw the MMs because they do not think they can raise cash.
What about private money??
Question how did they pay for that MT license??
It does not project any revenues? I thought they were going to buy them out??
LOL- what a conflict of interest and he graduated from my college the show me state. There is a old St. Louis crowd from the AG Edwards and Edward Jones that are a good old boy network involved in the financial markets big time.
I bet we do not see a pr until next wk, why waste a pr in a low vol. market period.
SHO reporting dates - according to the followig link the settlement dates for Dec are 12/15/09-12/31/09 and the reporting due dates are 12/17/09-1/05/10.

So if which I doubt the MMs will due, they need to settle by the latest 12/31 and report by 1/5/10.

Legalizing Marijuana cannot b any worse - might even help
Good pt
Great article. I have been saying fo a long time we need to get the profit out of the buiness. Prohibition did not work and we did not have borders to protect like we do now. Still had huge profits in just ask old Joe Kennedy how he made his money.
Your right this is the reason the papers & magazines are dying. They will not tell you what is going on mainly because they are either or both political and do not want to offend their advertizers. It is sad. We are to blame but the politicans allowed it to get out of hand because they needed the money from the financial guys to get re-elected and looked they other way when some tried to put in place needed new laws.
Here are the piggest pigs that put the final nail in the coffin. I blame our politicans for allowing it to happen. They let our manufacturing to go aboard, let our sciences to go down and just encouraged finanical paper pushing using lawyers to help push meaningless paper.

Well it started with Clinton with the appeal of the Steal Glass Act and then Bush let his cronkies take it to the unbelieveable obscene greed level. They all had their hands in it both the Republicans & Democrats
The big money is the new Mafia of this last decade. You should read the article in the Rolling Stones on GS - it is the best.
Until the Gov't gets serious about cleaning up the markets it will be just like the mob running the financial markets. The only difference is they have 3 piece suits and use lawyers to take people out instead of guns. They do not use breif cases full of cash for payoffs instead they just use electronic transfers to a bogus business their lawyers setup. Their informats are not the bookies but their highly placed ex Executives in gov't that tip off there buddies in private investment firms to the changes before anyone else knows so they make a fortune. As they say the more things change the more they stay the same just the medium they play in changes.
Tommy9 you write some great stuff on naked shorting. I have heard and read the same that is the biggest single factor destroying small businesses and employment especially for new business ideas that could produce large employment.
For HESG which I agree is being naked shorted. Until the SEC gets serious about it there will be many startups with good ideas destroyed. It is sad to see how corrupt Nite is and they get away with it making huge money. They are the Goldman Sachs of the small markets making huge profits and the government supports them by looking the other way. For GS they loan them money and have all of their Executives in gov't to make the laws for them.
On HESG I see three ways this can play out for Tom:
1. He is lying and is diluting and is just in it for him. I doubt this one because if he was diluting this stock would be at .0001-2 by now. Also I think he would be investigated by the SEC for lying. They seem to go after the company's CEOs but not the MM's.
2. Tom is hoping the price comes up within the next couple of weeks with the release of SS. He hopes he can win against the MMs and then can proceed with his acquistion. I give this a 50/50 chance. It is hard to win against the MMs when you have ST & TDA protecting them.
3. Tom is hoping #2 above works along with him having private funding. His background from where he has worked and comes from might indicate he might have some private funding. I asked this question to Frank and I did not get a clear answer but it sounds like they have some but the question how much. I get the idea they need 100,000 for each dispensary to buy. So a couple million would go a long way. If Tom has some private funding, they will succeed and he can beat the MMs.
Merry Christmas to you and all the long HESGers
Show us the proof - post it here
Well said- It makes me feel better to be hearing from the longs.
The newbies are getting annoying as you say. The old longs have intelligent thigs to say but do it very in frequently.
Good to here from another long
Great to hear about another long - I hope your right two wks is when things get better.
Thanks I hope your right and most longs just not posting through garbage now on the board.
Not a good cheerleader I guess.
Agree it is now hard to know if there are many of the longs that said they were longs around anymore. Because they might not want to waste their time posting with the nonsense being posted or they sold out.
Agree- Question how are they paying for the lawyers - $500-600 an hour and they probably have 100hrs or more by now - thats close to 100k for legal fees
Keys words from last PR on the MT deal:
anticipated to finalize before the end of the year.
That does not mean it will get done by then so we might get a pr or not. Why would they waste a pr tommorrow when very few investors will be around??
Sounds like the deal will not get done until the stk price comes up. That might take some time - need ST & TDA to lift restriction on buying so it might be after Jan until the stk price goes up to complete deals. The only other way would be to get private funding and that is questionable.
Proof it and paste it on the board.
GM, heard you sold all of your position
Thanks for saying what I wanted to say - people need to quit repeating old news that they think will pump the stock. This use to be a good board until these people have come over keep posting useless stuff.
So they are going to right back where they started by retiring shares.
I agree bu the question is when it moves will you be able to catch it?? Also if the O/S turns out to be less than1B. What do you think the O/S is going to be?? How many shares do you think they gave to mjna for consulting?

How do you know?? Did you talk to the company??
Hopefully tomorrow we might know if it is a confirmed contract.
My fingers are crossed because the first one in a new emerging market usually does well.
I know LOI is not worth the paper it is written on until you have a signed contract. The big bd stks do not waste their time pr-ing LOIs because so many do not workout.
Didn't the last PR state we would know who the co-ops will be they are negotitating with this week??
I thought they gave MJNA 800M for consulting fees - I am guessing they gave out restricted shares of at less 1b shares to pay their bills in the last 6 months.
CBIS is moving today again - hope that is a good sign for hesg
Seems the statements are changing from the bokerages. Looks like they are distncing themselves from the MMs.
