AbrahamS, Our reward could be better than
what we imagine. If one of our properties is bought out, the price could be fantastic. If the market is concerned with a buyout, the symbol would be halted to protect investors. When it reopens, the trading could possibly be in the dollar ranges. I wouldn't want to be left out of that scenario.
Rusty Ridge IOCG increasing in value
As the minerals sit there, doing absolutely nothing, they are increasing in value. It is money in the bank. Olympic Dam type deposits are going to have another rise in the market according to
Haywood Securities analyst, Geordie Mark." I believe that despite an environment of declining steel prices, iron ore Still Strong"
Looks to me that Dr. Mark likes the Jr's.
Dr. Geordie Mark, a research analyst with Haywood Securities, focuses principally on iron ore, coal and uranium companies involved in exploration, development and production. He joined Haywood Securities from the junior exploration sector, where he served in an executive role concentrating on exploration across Canada.
Dr. Mark: For the time being, across the equities, we see a move away from risk largely independent of commodity. The juniors, in particular, suffer in the interim, independent of where commodity prices are going. Iron ore juniors have obviously dropped recently, but we do expect prices to rebound when commodity prices recover and risk appetite returns to the market.

If they sell, KatX is gone.
Vale, would not keep kat exploration as a corporation. No need...
Here is how it will work
KatX will get a JV or buyout and the price will jump to several dollars, (when it resumes trading) then that'll be the end of the KatX Ihub page. We'll all move to the KatG page and trading will continue with our dividend shares.
Tinkerbells, conversation with KATX CEO
Falls in line, perfectly with what Michael O'Brian said when interviewed about investing in Junior companies, during a down time. Michael went on to say that many companies are seriously undervalued making major investment opportunities for long term.
Tink did just what Michael advises and her report back was just what true investors are looking for. A CEO that not only has class as a person, but knows how to bring value to the company. KatX is just one of these companies. Handcamp, Lucky, and Rusty Ridge make Kat a true investors dream.

Petaluma, CA -
The Gold Report: How does your experience in investment banking affect your decision-making?
Michael O'Brian: As an investment banker, I participated in the financing of hundreds of junior resource companies in many parts of the world, including many that went on to become very large and profitable.
The one item that has always affected my investment decisions is people. The most important aspect of investing is the reputation and experience of a company's chief executive.
TGR: You meet, talk to and get to know the executives before you make an investment in a company?
MO'B: I really do like to talk to the chief executive and get to know the people who are in charge.
Rusty Ridge REE's are going to be awesome
Let's get our JV or buy out with Vale and see what we can do with Rusty as well. Kat SH's are going to be very happy.
I don't follow too many new Openings
I couldn't remember any recent openings with the attention this one is getting. I found it interesting that the CNBC host said the same thing. The market hasn't had an opening bringing this much interest in a while.
GRPN spends 700mill on marketing.
They have more unpaid customers than paid. They are hoping to bring those in to paid customers The float is very tight. Brokers are saying this is done to keep buyers safe, so no one gets hurt during the opening.
Concern for the opening to be too high with the hype. They are comparing it to Linkedn.
Should be interesting. Lot of perceptive impact here.
Cramer: the users want the stock
20 to 25% of GRPN users are customers. The Deal managers, folks looking at the books, say their is nothing here. It's all skeptical as of now.
CNBC interview right now, looks bad
Just checked my TD account
and I am right. No where on the screen did it require me to buy KatX. As a matter of fact, when you do buy, it gives you another screen to confirm the buy. My suggestion is if you have disgust for a symbol, do not buy it. Sell what you have and close that window. It's very simply done.
My suggestion is get some KatX before the JV or the out right BUYOUT !
B402, facts say you are wrong again
Do a little more DD.
Tinkerbelle, you're right...
The DD you provided is indisputable.
Webster defines this as (). adj. Beyond dispute or doubt; undeniable)
If Kat Exploration had nothing
Then I guarantee you , Ken would not have taken short term financing. Who's to say, Ken didn't put his own money up for Short term financing. If he had nothing, there is no way, he would sink more money into a foundering company. It doesn't happen that way. Ken has something that he feels very strongly will perform or he wouldn't have said they are seeking LONG TERM FINANCING. Now these are my opinions, so think what you like.
The CEO of a company going down in flames, doesn't sink more money into it. It just doesn't happen. Ken has too much honor and class for that.
New KatX DD shows just what Ken said all the time. Two different HC's. These are the facts, so why bother trying to convince anyone that doesn't believe the writing on the wall, so I digress. Lastly, get some KatX....if not for you, for your family....Get Some!
What happens on a SELL or JV Halt
I will only speak of what I have seen. I bought a symbol a few years ago from a $heff rec. The FDA approval came through and the symbol was halted, while we waited for the news. When it re-opened, it opened 30cents higher than when it closed and shot up from there.
If KatX sells or JV's, I'm not sure if a PK will halt for news and shoot up, but what if it does? If you're not in at these ridiculously low prices, you'll be kicking yourself when it happens.
BHP (olympic dam owner) bought Petrohawk energy and the stock at 37.85 jumped immediately to over $47.
I could use another 200k shares.
especially at these prices. I've heard the word, "smart money" I've always said, they're talking about us! Get some KatX
With bauxite being a very sought mineral
The Canadian market seems to thrive. Rio Tinto's remaining aluminium business focused mainly on its more profitable Canadian operations, is designed to help the group more than double its aluminium earnings margins to 40 percent by 2015
Great article by the way.
Kat properties increasing in value
We have ore. Want to buy some?
Global miner Rio Tinto signalled a major retreat from its aluminium business on Monday, putting an estimated $8 billion worth of assets up for sale across six countries, only four years after buying aluminium giant Alcan for $38 billion.Rio Tinto said it planned to sell 13 assets, including smelters and alumina refineries, in a move immediately interpreted as a way of diverting yet more resources to iron ore, which now accounts for nearly 80 percent of group earnings.
One signature from the worlds top IO company
and pennies go to multiples of 10.
Tink, can't stop looking at that map
What a great post. Thanks for the DD.
Interesting thing about corporations
They have to open the books to investors. Ken Stead as an individual, does not. Maybe Ken has something so great for KatX that he is the Short Term Financier.
You gotta believe in what your doing....
Agree, what does it cost to stake
a claim? Less than a $100? For Vale' to drop some claims is nothing to them. They are targeting the mineable property, which happens to be next to KatX.
Great response with facts chmcnfunds
I'll have to say I agree. When the facts are in plain site, it's hard to have a leg to stand on. The professinals that looked at the RR results, still were intrigued.
So is Ken a Jr?
or does he have a son?

Wow..Thanks Tink. very encouraging info
That only means one thing...Kabooooom. KatX is about to soar.
Please post your link?
The one that says no gold at Handcamp. I posted my links of proof.
My bad,..it's listed on their website
http://www.katexploration.com/
http://www.katexploration.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=57
First page has handcamp on it, which is a gold property.
I guess I missed the part where Kat Exploration wasn't associated with gold properties. I provided the the confirmation link. Please provide your link so the new investors won't be mislead.
That's nearly 200k shares for $1k
Thats just incredible.
Maybe the Canadians need to follow Bolivia
And make a law that the Canadian banks can buy the local gold from the exploration companies, paying going rates.
If that happened, while most people would be deciding what to wear in the morning, my toughest decision would be which continent to visit?
Gold found a bottom, HC looking good!
A fall in the value of the dollar. The gold price is not just rising because of that. In reality it is ‘flooring' between $1,600 and $1,670. This is prompting Asia to believe that gold prices will not fall below $1,600 making current entry prices a buying opportunity.
I have one word, Handcamp
While traders can drive prices both ways easily, the weight of physical demand wins out in time. The last few days has seen the London Fix increasingly dominate the gold price. This tells us that we are watching physical demand win out in the consolidation pattern we are experiencing now.

That's high grade gold HV !
Best part about HC is the roads are there.
HV, I had seen that post before
but had only scanned the first part. I never saw the rest of the post. Excellent! Sounds like Vale' RAN, to the claims office.
Thanks for the info.
Great post Tink, my thoughts exactly
I see KatX merging into KatG
Great expectations for drilling
Vale law suit being overturned, puts 35mill back on the table for drilling the KatX property. This could be what we've been talking about.

Vale back on track.
Great news for Canadian mining. If they aren't spending money on lawsuits, that paves the way for signing the JV with Kat Exploration. It boils down to money. Today looks to be a good day for mining in Canada.
Court of Appeals dismisses C$36m judgment against Inco/Vale refinery

The fascination with the results of Olympic Dam are what drive guys like Ken and Tim Stead.

Not a fraud, just might not be the stock
for you. Ken Stead has a track record of Mining Exploration. We can surely trust this. Do I get frustrated about the lack of info? or finding out infor on my own? sometimes....but I believe Ken is doing everything possibly to bring KatX to full capacity. You cut cost where you can.
Maybe Jack Zwicker put me on block
before he left. I was always nice to him, but direct.
Any emails getting thru on kstead@katexploration.com?
mine come back, undeliverable. Might just be my suckie (not sure if that's a word) yahoo mail
