18% interest somebody wrote here on this board? is that true?
but honestly, I don't believe it would be 18%, that is just insane. Tom would never pay such a big amount on intrests.
18%??? are you kidding me?? Is it really that high? And then to think that people are jumping to conclusions: this has to be good because Wells Fargo is financing it. Wow, if they ask 18% return, you can be sure it is in their most high risk portfolio of all loans they isssue. Well, maybe, it could be, perhaps, there is this tiny little chance that THAT could be the reason why the PPS did not even budge when the deal was announced, or at least budged just to drop shortly after to even lower lows...
wait, let me rephrase that:
'and you think there is no collateral in high risk investments? Even more if they can.' Only with SWVC, there is no collateral that can be taken (accept for inventory which is pretty much worthless in case of default)
Loans given to big solid companies don't even get collateral from those companies. The loans are just given on notority.
What is the intrest rate SWVC has to pay for the loan?'
and maybe just read the first sentence: 'and you think there is no collateral in high risk investments? Even more if they can.'
and also this one:'Loans given to big solid companies don't even get collateral from those companies.'
Big solid as in Microsoft perhaps???
and you think there is no collateral in high risk investments? Even more if they can. Only with SWVC, there is no collateral that can be taken (accept for inventory which is pretty much worthless in case of default)

well, that's good if you are a little guy with balls. Anyway, most people on this board, including me, are little guys. Not many big guys would even care about message boards like these. The big guys they lose or win on this play, and if they lose, so what? Next time more luck...
yeah, just like everybody knew what big positions the banks were holding with their sub prime loans...
Any big bank has even a special department for venture capital. They invest a certain percentage of their funds in those high risk plays. It is not decided by some loan officer, it is a team who investigates that and most of the time decided by a credit committee.
They would not call it a "good gamble" as you mention, but rather a "calculated risk"
well, you can be 100% sure that they do. And that, that I do know for a fact.
well, then you would also agree that to the big boys, this is a gamble, and for the little guys who have dreams of getting rich fast and invest all their savings in this one, well, for them, it is squealing time right now
wells fargo is a bank just like any other... every bank has partly playing money for high risk investments which they know they can lose but also win big bucks with. They also have their investment strategy so they won't be squealing either if things go wrong. Again, big boys, they can take the hit since to them it is not even a hit...
big players are not investing their money in these mickey mouse stocks. And if they do, it would be their gambling money. Big players are smart enough to diversify so why would they be squealing if they are down on one of their picks...
and the saga continues....
no, just warning people who don't know about this POS that they should NOT buy this

always take profits with these plays...
then don't forget to take your profits of the table because that's just the way it goes overhere... swingtrade and you make good money
well, very hard if you can buy a clean shell without the cornell death spiral financing.
I strongly doubt that it is done. Why the continuously drop in price then?? People said it was almost done 4 months ago...
don't you agree that Tom made an unbelievable mistake by using this stock, with the Cornell death spiral financing, to go public?
Wouldn't it have been smarter to look for a new shell? Going public through a shell is much cheaper than going public on your own. But with all this cornell dilution everybody is talking about, there has been a lot of money lost and probably more than the costs of going public on yourself. And I can't imagine Tom is not a smart guy, so I find this very strange.
is Tom still diluting this or is nobody interested in this stock anymore??
those who sold in the fourties, I am sure they are pretty happy now, so maybe you need to reconsider that statement
dilution and history, you know what they say about history...
my last post was in regards to the markets in general...
I did. In todays market, there is no rationale and this because of a so called 'Kenisian unsurity' : not knowing how bad the actually credit crisis is, is far more worse than when numbers are really bad but known. People can't handle not being able to place a correct number on the write offs... And trust me, we will go even lower (=market) than were we are today and that great measure of the FED today is not gonna stop this for the moment... And then, then you should position built. Maybe beginning next quarter, when numbers are even worse and housing market did collapse, then I will buy. And the stock market is indeed forward looking but imperfect, but let's say there would be a perfect market right now with perfect players and all smart people, then you know what to expect about the economy during the next 6 months...
well, you go back on all my calls and make your own decision. Yes it scares me too, must be a good coin flipper huh ;) Fed has nothing to do with SWVC.
Oh, btw, you will also find out that I said it is a bad time to buy stocks in general right now (even with the cut of 75 basis points: that move just actually confirms what I have been thinking all along: 'the US economy is in trouble' and that was just confirmed by the FED's move...
good luck
who would have thought we would dive below the penny this week?? oh yeah, right, it was me...
no problem, anytime. The week has not even begun and my predition of sub penny has already come true...
makes you wonder huh how this stock is being pumped?
well, I know how to read them, that is why I am so curious why you say these forms are so good?
hope you get paid then out of this stock...
it didn't take more to figure that out so...
I did, see you next week
well, why would you even be slightly positive after that 8K?
I am willing to listen to your arguments...lol
like I said before, next week we will dive sub penny. That became even more clear after latest 8K...
good luck
don't worry, next week we dip sub penny
this SWVC dream already came to fruition a couple months ago, now it is turning more and more into a nightmare. We will go sub penny again, mark this post...
good luck
that's true, but I would like to see that same statement on this board when the market is down and SWVC is up. In that case 'oh my god, we are up while the whole market is down! weeee'
oh no! can this ever sustain a gain?? and this when markets are up... a shame...
and where did I make that comparison?
not right NOW, wait til last quarter's result will come out, stock market will be bloody as hell. Merrill Lynch news today??? that should give you an idea of what we are in for. Especially in the US markets. Recession will occur and we will first go down further before going back up. The housing market is really collapsing big time which is one of the biggest drivers of the economy and consumer's trust. If you don't believe this, then just buy yourself a small position in some decent stocks, but mark this post, next month, you will be able to buy those same stocks at a lower price (generally speaking of course, sure you will find some stocks that will do better, but the index will be down IMHO!).
