Man, what would we do without our trusty interpreters, LOL
OT-The more things change, the more they stay the same, LOL

remember, "don't swap horses in midstream"
Wow, that's pretty impressive content (M&C), given that it was released 3 months ago and was also an Oscar nominee for best film. I'm surprised it's there. It didn't do that well at the box office and I'm sure it has undergone some limited rerelease in the last month as all films do to cash in on the oscar nomination. I would have thought the studio would have nixed any competing outlets for it in the interim, oh well, shows what I know.
Anyway, IMO, it shows that the studios are not feeding B-side content our way.
Is CD out there? It being March and all, couldn't we get a "beware the ides..." just for ole times sake?
DAP market still has huge potential at the low end it seems.
Yeah, but don't forget the wise words of RP, sometimes our competitors become our customers! LOL
Don't everyone go firing off emails to RP about the PPS drop at once, lol!
In the broader context, entire tech/Naz doing a major test. Broke through 50-DMA and approaching lower BB.
Doing some major chart damage today
Yada yada yada, lots of posts, very little substance (me included, lol). I'll check in around the next PR I guess.
Yes and if we collect from F10 where does that leave us? That $1 million dollars is nothing, what was important was the relationship it was supposed to build. A lawsuit would put an end to that quickly. Unless you believe that EDIG is working on other automotive products with other companies.
Hep, somebuddy hep me!
Legal filing? IMO, worthless. At most we get paid some part of the $1 million we're owed, half of which probably goes to pay the lawyers and we alienate a customer and are stuck at square one in the automotive telematics market.
" (I really don’t think this halt in production will result in anything more than a delay but it’ appears as though management has prepared themselves with a decent paper trail)"
Prepared themselves for what? Its fine that they have documentation and it might help deflect some shareholder ire if they can prove that the waffling is F10's fault, but that wouldn't really change the bottom line if the order ends up being cancelled.
Do you expect that to be the "global standard"?
LOL, yeah, on EDIG and the entire market! Sell programs
That may be true, and if so, F10 indecision was to blame. At the same time it looks like they are rolling out more advanced products soon. If we are not involved with the design of these we have to ask why, especially since the last bits of F10 information we received made it sound as if we were redesigning things to encompass a much broader scope, including telematics/video.
Ahhh, the good ole days, remember when FF gave a presentation in front of the U.N.....oh, I must have dozed off
Napster in trouble again?
Looks like HP pulled the rug out from under them, hope it wasn't because EDIG told them they could get them a Napster compatible player in time (I only WISH we played such a big role in their plans, heheh)

Well, it can't hurt our business chances to be sitting in the same meetings with execs from all the big IFE/airlines. Look at the names on the WAEA tech committee.
"A friend pointed out to me that there must be a reason that Woody keeps him at both atco and edig"
that's easy enough, he doesn't want RP letting on that mOS really ISN'T a world standard, lol
Interesting newsletter from WAEA. Note the mention again of Ted testing handheld devices to offer films (to supplement 'Tedevision', lol, too cheezy). Also, on p.5 an interesting in depth summary of a recent technical committee meeting. I bet A.Anandpura had something to say at that meeting on the SECURITY issue.

Too bad we can't read this trade-zine regularly, but it seems to require a subscription. They just happened to have a link to this issue on the WAEA website that I found.
digeplayer content needs a refresh, its looking a bit long in the tooth (and no, shuffling the web pages 1,2,3 as they've been doing doesn't count as new content, lol)

OFF with their HEADS!!!!! lol, but you'd never know for sure.
I heard in gym that RP is pretty popular with the LADEEZE
I won't condemn them if it was cancelled until I know the reasons. Again, if it is because of obsolescence, and that was because F10 kept asking them to change things, then its not really their fault. Then again, if thats the reason, I wouldn't expect to hear about it from EDIG, its not usually good business to badmouth past and potentially future customers.
I fired off a few question to RP about which Reality tv shows he prefers. Its now sitting on 3 weeks and I STILL haven't heard back!
I think that if the delays were caused by F10 continually requesting additional modifications, its not really EDIGs fault if the rest of the market passed them by in the meantime (they have to do what the customer requests). OTOH if the delays resulted from correcting EDIG design flaws or mishandling of the production process, the company shoulders some responsibility.
Well, if its cancelled due to the long rollout whose to blame? If we believe the reporting from 2003 CES, demand and customer response was strong at that point. Why did the ship date slip? Requests for additional design changes? Last minute manufacturing problems?
We won't know whose door to lay the blame at until we know the answers.
"The 4 GB Microdrive will be available for $499 USD"
...which is exactly why any product based off of it will be a non-starter
For some reason I can never bring myself to watch tv programming on a flight, only movies. Something about the atmosphere of the flying experience exposes just how bad tv show content really is.
Tedevision? Sounds like video Muzak with a neckache thrown in.

In fact, most user reviews on cnet compliment the x20's styling over the ipod.
AFAIK they have options. I think RP even exercised some not long ago, but I'm not sure if they were sold. According to yahoo, he exercised 500k shares @ .10c/share in June 2003.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=EDIG.OB
Then again, why buy shares (WRT senior management) when you already have options for millions at almost no cost?
It could, but anyway you attach it, its bound to take up more space (stick out) than an integrated seatback screen.
Nothing new. Intercontinental flights have had that ability for a while now.
I think most with any experience owning OTC stocks know that a fair number of them have significant floats and thus never come to valued according to traditional metrics. PPS is almost purely news driven until these issues graduate into the real markets.
P/Es are outrageous, sure, but its all relative. I'd bet you if they swung the company from a net loss to a net gain of .01c (roughly $2 million in profit) you'd see a huge upswing in the PPS. Why? Because we're not at the top of the S shaped curve, we're at the bottom and everyone playing the OTC is hoping to get on before their stock goes exponential. Any sign of those first steps is jumped on.
I would, but... I KANT!!!!
LOL, sorry, couldn't resist.
Plus, NO FREE BEER MUGS?!?!
