Pro,
That is a very good question. I would love others to chime in and give their thoughts, my best guess is that the reality is that "either" it is 1 volt for driver less modulator that will be the game changer and anything less than that is not acceptable.
Looking forward to others chiming in with thoughts.
Hi Walter,
In your post you stated that Lebby said.....
" Lightwave has not yet announced particulars as to how Technology Transfer will be implemented in our case but I encourage you to monitor future PRs for potential updates on that front".
To me that sounds that they are confident that something good will happen, BUT yes there is no timeline attached.
I do not recall him saying anything like that before......and surprised that he would state that in an e mail.
Thanks.
Hi Dude,
Thanks for your honest response. You are very right in saying that since Michael Lebby came on board, the message has always been consistent, and the progress that has been made over the years, also shows that progress was being made on the same consistent "set goals". I know a lot of message board posters, keep referring to ........" well we started with 25 gbps modulator, then we moved to 50 gbps then 100 gbps....and they (management)keep moving the needle", but that is understandable as the technology needs move fast.
Dude in the event that we succeed this year or next, do you have a price point in mind that would give you the satisfaction that you got a decent return on your patience and risky investment. Would you sell at 5 dollars to $ 10 dollars a share, or do you feel that this is worth much more.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Richard,
In your humble opinion does all this set back (Corona Virus) to the entire world economy, put LWLG technology on the back burner, as companies will be worried more about survival, as opposed to growth. Could our timelines be reset?
Thanks in advance.
So X, any thoughts on what comes next with LWLG? Could all this downturn in the stock market delay things for Lightwave?
Thanks X, also lets pray that LWLG delivers something this year.
Hi X,
Why the index funds? Do you think we have reached the bottom?
To all Shareholder, Do you have any Thoughts?
As the situation worsens every day with the Coronavirus worldwide, I was wondering if others had any thoughts on how this will affect LWLG? Will this worldwide pandemic push LWLG back a few years as other more urgent immediate concerns become a priority. Also with the economic slowdown perhaps the big tech companies will not be under so much pressure to bring in newer technologies at a fast pace.
Or will all this be a temporary setback? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Can someone who is more technically savvy tell us simpletons what this press releases means for LWLG, is this news just putting a patch on the existing infra-structure OR does it mean that Silicon Photonics is still going to remain dominant? Or is this just another development that does not really affect LWLG?
Been worried ever since I saw this press release.
Th,
What engineer are you talking about? Please do share with us
So Proto for us simpletons what does this mean? Is Lightwave included in here or not? Or are we the next generation of Transceivers?
Proto,
I sure hope that we get some updates on where we are in regards to progress with the Tier 1's.
Also I wonder if we will get an update on when the Shareholders meeting is going to be in 2020.
Thanks
Steve,
Thanks for your response. Lets hope this all works out for us. I am slowly buying as funds become available. I am not a big fish like you guys but figured I would try and buy 100,000 shares and roll the dice.
Thanks.
Steve,
Any idea how "Financing with IP" if approved would affect the share price? In other words what do you think is a normal price for this stock? Right now it seems that it is battered down due to some missteps by management.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Proto,
Thanks for the information. Do you think this will play out in the next few years? Have you dipped your toe in here OR have have you jumped in big time lol?
Thanks.
JL,
Great post. Thanks for raising our spirits. We have all been in this too long. We need to feel good about this investment this year lol. Hope 2020 is our year.
Thanks a lot.
Hi JL,
It is great to hear from you. I always enjoy reading your posts. Do you feel that we are at the end of the tunnel? I know you have been an investor for a very long time.
Thanks.
Sqrl,
Thanks for a great post, both part 1 and 2. I had a 2 part question if you would like to respond.
Are you heavily invested in this company? Is your confidence high that this will be a winner?
Is the potential here for the stock to go anywhere between $ 0.01 to around $ 1.00. Or once the revenue goes up, do you believe that this will go much higher than a dollar a share? Just trying to gauge your expectation of what price you would jump out at? Do you have a price point in mind which would satisfy your return and you would sell your shares.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks Steve, much appreciated.
Hi Steve,
I just started tipping my toe in here, so I am a little confused on this post from Smitty. Could you share some insight on what you think will happen here in the near future, if financing gets done. Would love to slowly buy more but not sure what the future might hold here. As you have been in this stock a while, could you share some insight?
Thanks.
Proto,
Thanks for your quick response. It is so strange to see a company like Spectra 7 have some revenue but yet be sitting at such a ridiculous share price. Do you think that they will move the needle this year with increasing their Sales Revenue IF they sort out their financing situation?
Were you in this stock when it was around 20-30 cents? I was looking at the chart, and it looks like it was much higher a few years back.
Thanks.
Proto,
So if I understand you correctly, you stated in your post below......
"so what would that bring for a buyout, I'd have to think $100-$500 million range depending on where sales come in from above projections, if S7 gets to $100 million sales in 2021, then buyout could easily be $500 million+, right?"
So do you mean that the Company has the potential to be at sold for around $ 1.25 a share as we are currently sitting at around 400 million shares outstanding?
ALSO
What do you think the man reason is that we are sitting at 0.02 cents a share, IF the potential is so much more? Is is just because the have no funding in place?
Thanks.
X,
Thanks for your response. I will try and jump in for about 100,000 shares if I can, but was wondering if you have any thoughts on whether them putting up the IP (Intellectual Property) as collateral is wise. Is this a normal practice?
Thanks.
I tried to buy some shares today about 10,000 at 1 cent as that was the price, but was unable to get any, is the stock very thinly traded?
I will try tomorrow again, but was wondering if anyone else has the same problem?
Or do I need to put in a Market order?
Thanks Proto for your response. I am hoping that I can slowly accumulate about 100,000 shares in the next few months.
I am though surprised that they already have 400,000 shares outstanding.
Thanks.
Steve,
Thank for the response. I wish I was young lol. I am now in my late fifties. Been in LWLG for almost 15 years off and on. Got tired of waiting in LWLG, got out, but jumped back in when Michael Lebby came on board. Thought with him on board it, would be different, lets see if it all comes together.
In regards to Spectra, yes I need to read and research, but as I saw Proto and you in this stock, I figured I could get the "Dummies " version from you guys, as I have followed and read both your posts on the message boards.
Thanks.
Thanks Proto, so I am guessing as you are a believer that you are invested heavily in this stock?
Based on your research, does this stock have potential to go to a buck?
Thanks
Hi Proto,
I just stumbled upon this stock (Spectra 7) when a poster Steve posted something on the LWLG board and then you responded to him. I came and checked out the message board but an totally confused by the potential. I was wondering if you could loop me in on the Spectra 7 company potential? Are you invested her, and what is the opportunity and timeline to success?
Much appreciated.
Juenke22,
Thanks for your clarification on the process. An eye opener, also helps clarify what Karen is potentially up to.
Do you believe based on your past experience, that Lightwave Logic will get some small to medium orders by the end of this year? And that we will officially become a revenue company, even if the dollar amount is not too large?
Thanks
8,477,864 Shares of Common Stock
So I guess Lincoln Park will have more shares to sell.....

Jimjet, looks like you wanted to post something but the post did not come through. Could you repost.
Great to see Michael presenting to the investor community.....
Any thoughts on if this is just part of the effort by MZ Group to get the word out....OR.......could it also be that we need to get the message out more independently, as we have not yet been able to secure any deals?
Thanks
Richard,
Great post. Also could you please help me understand the following in the three steps ....
Optimizing prototype performance
• Approval of AVL (approved vendor list)
• Limited sampling
So I get it that they are optimizing the devices for the customers, so what does Limited Sampling mean? Does that mean that once the device is perfected, the potential customer orders a limited quantity, and they put it into a real life situation at one of their data centers?
Thanks in advance.
Spooks,
In your opinion, will we build a long term company, or is Lebby just setting this up to be sold to the highest bidder?
Others have commented previously that they do not have the resources to go this alone long term.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks for sharing
Hi FJack,
Good to hear from you. Glad to see you posting. Was wondering if you had any updated thoughts on this post of yours. In your opinion has LWLG hired MZ Group to simply showcase the Company to investors OR is the objective here to raise the share price, so that when we negotiate a deal, we have more leverage, OR it it more on the lines of "we need to raise the share price" to appease shareholders.
Hi Rambos,
Obviously you are a smart investor, who knows how to play the ups and downs. A quick question from a long time shareholder....if you do not mind answering..
" do you have a price point in mind when LWLG finally takes off that you would be happy to sell all your shares? 10, 20, 30, 40 ??
And finally take your profits, get some closure and go spend the money lol
Now that MZ Group has come on board, and 2019 is closing out, most probably we not not get any more news this year.
So would the next Major logical development step forward be a "Supply Partner" once the 5000 hours are completed?
Will LWLG start producing 'Modulators" to sell in the market EVEN if they do not get some deals?
When will we see a Deal?
Great to see MZ Group come on board, great to see share price go up, great to see increase in share volume, BUT the real question is "how far are we really from some sort of deal or major development".....
So what will the role of Karen become moving forward now that MZ Group has come on board? Any thoughts out there.
