Nor am I. If anyone out there suggested anything close to this, I would agree with you that it's not oki-fine for them to do that! :)
I'd be all for relisting, especially to go after other offenders.
I disagree that relisting solves everything. No one here trusts Billy and I don't think shares would be able to be sold for fair value. No one here would pay as much for shares after seeing the waterfall. I believe your theory relies on new people getting excited about the settlement and buying in because they don't know what's been going on with Billy. Nice for us.. but not for the new people who'd have to deal with all the same issues :)
Until it is clear that shareholder rights will be respected and enforced I don't think of anything short of that as a 'solution'. A nice step perhaps, but not a solution. I see our recent actions as 'the solution', and a re-list as simply on part of an option that would resolve all this.
Either way... the future looks good!
I imagine a lawyer could answer those questions for you.
See post #91574 for why you are incorrect. The filing has since been updated so this isn't actually the latest one.. but you'll still get the jist of things.
Thanks for reaching out to everyone Tony. Gotten a lot of additional involvement lately due to your efforts!
What a great group :) :) :)
Filing is coming today, right?
they left off a few zeroes! :) :)
Great to hear this.. I had a long post but was kind of nervous about the podcast and thought folks like you might be offended. Glad to see that you are still on board!
Agreed. Thanks to all vets, all those who have families who've served. etc.
I think we are a great country because we have people who step up and give of themselves when needed. Lots of issues here with the legal system and all that, but it's always good to take a step back and realize that whatever side of the aisle one is on... we're all for freedom in one way or another, and the guys who did this 20 years ago are not.
God Bless the USA and thanks to all of you who've served who make it possible for this country to exist.
GREAT INFO. Thank you for this!!!!!
Totally disagree. Relocation and solar efforts on track. That is REALLY big news. I don't care about the rest. They're not talking about stock price anyway... they're talking about anything messing up these efforts. That's reasonable.
Have a great weekend all!
GREAT! Really hopeful on this one. Glad to hear froM theM.
Have a great weekend all!
If it goes as some would hope, then one may consider a contribution to the cause one of the best investments they've made. We shall see how it all pans out!
A few people may be doing the work, but everyone would be welcome to support the cause. I'd see that as the best way to say thank you!
Lots of people sound different these days, I wouldn't get too worked up about that one way or the other.
Best way for holders to know what is going on is to get involved and contribute to being a part of the solution.
much easier doing that than trying to decipher what is going on/true from this board......
wouldn't that be a 180?
I'm not sure where he is, but as I mentioned, I would not be pleased if I was a distributor. I think Gary put the blame on them that should have been more on himself.
He projected 10m and missed big. Why does he get a pass but they do not?
I would like to hear from DE and be assured that he was not offended by that whole thing and is still on board. If we lose our distributors, we are in trouble. I get what Gary was getting at, but there was a much better way to broach this topic.... as there was with a couple of other topics I pointed out as well.
If this is a $0.02 stock, that's a 33% gain from here. It may go up slowly, but if even the negtive folks are anticipating these type of returns, then that's a good thing.
To be clear... 2 cents is below my average. Am I thrilled about it? No.
But certainly plan to hold on at this point.. I really don't want to lose money on this thing. May take a couple of years, but I think I'll get there.
2 cents from here, hope you're right!
I'll respond that way as well.. "Fair enough".. I do think future iterations will get better.
I guess I'll look at the bright side and figure that any shortcomings will be reflected in the price.. Fundamentals are what they are regardless, so maybe the less than stellar quality will provide a share price discount for a couple more months in case I can get my hands on some more cash.
Good luck to you and everyone else!
Valid points...
Overall positive and I appreciate them doing it, especially since they said they would.
I disagree with you about the scripting thing. If you're going to hit all the points, fine.. but if the interviewer is continuously adding words.... scripted is better. I know no one loves the thought of that... but almost all of these things are fully scripted. The ones my CEO does for 50,000 people is fully scripted, the ones i do for 50 people are scripted. It's standard. I deviate here and there to personalize it, but there is a base script. Given how this one turned out, I think that would make it smoother.
Either way, I believe a positive future is ahead. Financials soon, and hopefully an uplist before the end of the year!
Well that's fine.. The business will go forward either way... but the really need to script it or be done with these.
I don't mean to be negative. There was good info and overall, I think the info was positive... but the delivery... just wasn't. Again.. The interviewer had to feed him one basic word.. I would never think to do that with my CEO.. The fact that it was even on his mind to have to do that.. I just don't love it.
Things will continue to progress and we're on a good path.. but do we really want our first ( hopefully!) Podcast after up-listing to be another one of these? "Don't worry, we can delete this later"? That's not a great look.. certainly not enough to take us on a monster run like some of the penny stocks I've seen.
I think he's probably a very bright guy.. This just isn't the right format.
Glad they did this once, glad he cleared up projections, etc. Still like the Co.... but really hope it's written next time.
Any new pacers?
Good evening! As I've noted before, I own a ton (to me anyway) of shares.. In the millions. I listened to the Podcast and came away with mixed feelings. A couple of notes
First.... on things I wasn't a fan of:
Agriculture... looking for someone to head up the division.
Well this makes it seem like any progress here is a long way off
"statement"
"keep talking, we can cut it out"
So... When I do a presentation like this at work, the script is already done. Very little doubt what anyone is saying. In this case, the interviewer was feeding Gary answers because I guess Gary was going to wing it. I have all the respect in the world for Gary and I think he's done some amazing things here... but I do think he's earned his retirement and it's probably time. I mean no disrespect here, but the interviewer felt the need to feed him the word "statement". One word.
Just one. I love Gary's enthusiasm and I love some of the positive things taking place, and I think he's doing a better job than the Podcast would imply, but there were multiple things I noted where the interviewer added things at the end. Either one or both of them appeared to have come less than fully prepared. Perhaps someone didn't realize today was a holiday and it was rushed, but I just don't think anyone is walking away thinking that this was a solid professional thing you'd expect from the CEO and I don't even think the interviewer (Mike?) himself has a ton of confidence. and... How did he forget to cut what he said he'd cut!!!???
"in most places distributors were not prepared"
A statement in the business world is that there are no bad workers, just folks in the wrong position. Everyone can and will do well at something. Gary predicted 10m this year and that didn't happen, so to fault the distributors for lack of preparedness is not telling the full story. Perhaps their expectations were high like Gary's were. I think there was a better and more diplomatic way to state this. DE is kind of a hero around here and I think he was fully prepared... just circumstances changed. I think Gary should have given the distributors the same lattitude he gave himself.
"Covid was great for us"
I mean.. I get it.. but come on.. Quit phrasing it like this. We need to be clear that we're humans first. A lot of people (myself included) have lost people in this thing. I get what they're getting at.. but have some basic sensitivity and take the extra 5 seconds to say this in a more appropriate way.
this forum will become a regular event
Oh dear... I appreciate the visibility.. but can we just get written answers on the site? No offense... but this was kind of painful.. Let's just have printed responses to FAQs on the site. Please! Eazy Peazy. No one will complain!
Positives
additional 1 mil gal for 2022
Anticipating this order for 2022 is great. I get the sense that he thinks most of the first order will be used in 2021.
Phase 4 done before the end of the year
SOunds good!
Plans to announce successor before the end of the year
Great... Not because I want Gary out... but I'm just glad there is a plan in place
That they actually did this thing...
Frankly, it was VERY sloppy.... VERY... BUT... They knew it was, and knew they needed to do what they'd said. They put it out there. While there were flaws, I like that they cared enough about not letting us down that they put something sloppy out rather than miss another deadline. It's a step.
A week from this Friday we should be current
I guess this is good. Would have liked a little sooner, but I get it.
Updates in the next two weeks
awesome
Overall.. As an owner, I feel optimistic about the future. However, if I was an outsider looking at investing, I don't believe I'd be convinced to invest from listening to this. REALLY hope they consider doing this in written form in the future and I'd ask folks with any pull to push for this. I mean no disrespect, but I dread the thought of another one of these. I do think they closed on a high note and liked that Gary gave a shoutout to employees. I get the sense that they all really like him.
A solid company with leadership that cares about workers and shareholders and seems to be making progress, a solid company that (THANKFULLY) doesn't need an amazing podcast because it's not a P&D, a solid company moving in the right direction, but with work to do.
We'll see :)
Have a great week everyone!
we were all thinking we'd have filings by 9-6, correct? I guess this isn't the case?
Thank you for posting this!
These would be great scenarios to review as relates to this company! Understanding our past is the best way to understand the future.
We are on a winning streak!
The 13 have done the right thing and settled. The issue now is getting our share.
This will not drag on forever.
Twitter quiet lately. Hopefully that means we're close to a signing or something. They have been Tweeting weekly.
Hope I'm still invited to the party? Hands are full!!
thank you for posting! I'd guess we'll see a lot like this in future weeks. The beginnings of greatness! ( I hope ;) )
I don't have level 2. If a person placed a market order to sell 5 million shares, what would the price go to? How about a 5 million share buy?
Thanks for any thoughts!
I'm holding a bunch of shares... and my average is much higher than where we are now. I doubt I've lost the most here, but I'm surely in the top 10. Still love the potential and hope BRs influence is a positive one. If DE is correct with his assessment of O&G, these paper losses will be gone before too long. We shall see.
Yeah if things can get going in the right direction, there is certainly room to run.
I do like that there are less than 1b shares, and I like the JV because hopefully that means no direct dilution.
We shall see!
LOL someone should file an amicus brief on her behalf.
Surely we see all the filings this week, right? I had just assumed we'd get everything before sept.6. Anyone thinking we won't see them all before then?
Thanks!
I did not say he "needs to"... I just said that "If he wants to...."
Two different things. He's welcome to do what he wants until legally compelled to to otherwise.
If it was me in his shoes, I would have had some communication with shareholders over the last few years... People invested a lot of money in this and believed in him. If I'm in that position, I HATE the idea that people may think I am letting them down and I would at least make a minimal effort to dispel that notion. I may not give every detail, but I am certainly making at least one statement... especially when the case is settled.
I disagree that he has zero obligation to anyone. If he is getting funds that are shareholder funds... he has the obligation to give them to us.
Have a great day!
Thank you for posting this!
Glad Gary is in good shape.
Good luck adding shares. Volume has been super low lately. Not a lot being offered.
Have a great day sir!
Agree.. Always great to see context around predictions. Special Needs was spot on with the ideal that we'd settle, for example, and really 'owned' it (I believe he said 95% at one pt.)
Now that being said... an expert at one point of the process may not necessarily be an expert at another point, but the best would acknowledge that.
Hopefully we don't have to guess for too much longer!
These are exciting times.. It's so quiet around here. It won't be that way for long.
Wonder if Brett Rosen is investing in the joint venture. If not him, who? Would like to know more details on how much they need and/or are looking for, though they probably won't be able to say.
Thanks for posting here sir. You are in my state and if not for the pandemic I'd probably pop down there and meet everyone. Perhaps one of these days.
Thanks for all you do sir!
Bought any more shares lately?
Not sure. Given that you say he does not, what would be an investment thesis here for someone to buy the stock? Thank you sir!
