Mark stated his terms he would agree upon without saying it when he mentioned the 80/20 ratio during an interview recently. Thats what I took it for when I heard it.
1. Private money will and still should be in the works. The only reason that they are adding and looking for government to support is that. Point buyers in the direction of what they see the US government wanting. Maybe a tax incentive here or there as their last release states. It is not for funding. Why in the world wouldn't you add this to the list of things that help increase the visibility of the project, make it for financially feasible, fundable, and profitable?
2. Yes the project is de risked. REE's make it more visible yet, added to the green part of this project. 80/20 financial backing could very well be doable.
3. Financing is not years away. People won't be jumping ship on this project as you suggest Scott Honan will do. It's most likely closer than ever. World events and needs are at an all time HIGH.
This company couldn't be in a better position to not only succeed, succeed BIG, but it is NEEDED desperately. It is ready to start construction. PERIOD.
You couldn’t be further off. You will have a response after I get to a computer.
Said it loud and clear on the first slide as well.
The wait will be worth it...Lets hope it isnt much longer with a revision.
Chico, could this be the wait we have endured? They just stated that they were going to revise the FS study with the addition of REE's. Maybe this is why we haven't seen any releases. I would guess they have an idea of what direction they are going. Numbers should be close to being done with the money that can be made from REE's. So with that being said we this "wait" of "no news" is them already starting to revise this? Just thinking out loud.
I agree it is to hard to get anything done with how unstable that area of the world can be. Just was saying a way to put that news to rest is open REE mines in the United State like NIOCORP. That’s all I was trying to get at :)

If there was ever a time for the DOD to take on our mine with the materials we have to offset bad press now would be the time. JMHO
IMO nothing will happen until the REE results have been put into their financial model to show how profitable it will be. After this a new value will be placed on the mine. Until then there will be nothing along the lines of this company being sold or merged. Just doesn't make any sense from a negotiating perspective as we have seen they say the results were "good".
You don't just help. Put it this way. I have been watching the show Billions (great show by the way). Nothing ever comes without a price. You either are helping on a favor to be returned later or returning a favor from a prior engagement. This situation isn't anything different. I just hope this "favor" is being asked from a future partner, the DOD, or to be in the room to know what is going on to benefit us as shareholders, SOON.
This is something that has been on my mind for awhile. We tried to to get a grasp of this a few months back. I know it can't be a bad thing that they are on USREM. I asked Jim the question directly and we know that we basically don't have anything to go off of about it, other than it exists. Maybe USREM is the buffer between NIOCORP and a specific company, person, and or country?
Hoping it all makes sense here sooner than later.
Would love to hear how you came to those numbers!
Makes sense. I think we will see more on the REE's very soon. We will see if we get a release this week or not on it.
100% I would vote no.
Just look at the media attention to REE's & critical minerals. Our $9.47 share price that was calculated was many moons ago by PrudentCapitalist. The minerals are all worth more. That number was created way before REE's were probably in play. Top that with management always stating that it is open and width and depth. These are my reasons. I stand firm this mine is not only worth much more, but also not worth selling for $4. I get there is risk involved with bringing a mine to production. I am all for a merger as PM talked about this weekend. What I am not OK with is a buyout that isn't close to what the mine will be worth after this long of a wait.
Remember, the mine being bigger in size too. How big isn't known yet. Again, $4 no way!
$10 won't be either when REE's are added.
I 100% agree. I think after the REE's are added here shortly with actual numbers we will have a better idea. The wild card which you have always stated and I also agree with is what if this is 2 or 3x or more bigger than we know. Management has eluded do this numerous times. There is obviously a lot more in the ground we don't know about yet. The question is how much? $5 a share looks like pennies when you look at that. $10 a share right now is $20 or $30 pending how bigger the resource is.
I fully expect this to be the case and to make alot of money on my investment. I am not about to give it away. Will I concede with some risk taken by the buyer, sure and they will get some sort of discount. I am not however about to give away what we all have been waiting and sticking through high risk times and in the red.
Merger would be great, Yes.
True makes sense. Long as we hold onto our shares and see this grow.
I just don't see if they publicly say all he time the product in the ground is bigger and depth and width, until they know EXACTLY how big the size of mine and amount that can be extracted, how can you sell?
There is always a chance of a buyout. With the amount we are able to produce we would be a world leader in scandium production. 88% is still available for off take agreements. If we have waited this long I don't see us being bought out unless it is at a very very favorable price. $15-20 bucks plus.
Won't we be producing alot more Scandium when operational?
Thing I am curious about is if they decide to go this route and have REE’s as an add on and bring in additional equipment (not a new FS) what the cost will be for all of this?
I am just speaking out loud here. Just have a feeling the REE results are going to make this mine a can’t miss opportunity to invest and finance. Should make a lot of investors not just wealthy, but very wealthy.
The anticipation of these results is exciting. Soon after the next thing will be when they start to do more drilling to determine the size of this massive ore body.
If they know the REE’s will be beneficial and a make this even more valuable there is no reason to finalize financing until it is finished. We were told it should happen shortly after putting into their financial model.
So if this is the case which it should be we will see an REE news release. This is all happening with REE’s everywhere in today’s news. Which is very positive.
Add an infrastructure bill stating they want to use this (I don’t foresee us getting money from it), this will put more eyes on us and buyers, increase the share price, and help get to where we want to be with financing.
We heard Mark say we are “close” on financing. Time shall tell, but this is the way I see it playing out.
Thanks for posting.
If anyone has a report on the presentation it would be great to hear some things you took away from the presentation today.
I was unable to watch/listen. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing. Lots to like about this company. It just needs its financial backing with favorable terms for all of us.
With rising covid rates again and mandates coming into place this could start another cycle of prolonging this companies vision and plan. With the Delta variant lurking I am hopeful that they have some some of financing done here shortly. Otherwise another year will have passed without any major financing agreements and postponements of meetings, arrangements, agreements, etc.
On a side note. It may sound like bashing on my end, but it's not. It's a results oriented business. It is my choice to be apart of this journey. You only need to be so derisked and win so many awards to get financed. I believe in the company. We have a good team. They are probably knee deep in the mud, but we don't know that. It is easy for them to forget us investors because all we do is sit and wait.
Enough for me for the night. I have been a little more distant lately from he board as I am trying to remain patient as best I can.

I would have to agree with your post. My patience is thin myself.
Mark talks about new blood coming into this investment taking over for the people that made a buck that left. What he doesn't mention is the faithful that have been waiting years and still are here that have the expectation that he is in the best interest for us. If that comment was aimed at to get a buck and leave and the new people can sit and wait he isn't right for this company. Not saying it was, but better not be the case.
Be transparent. I can stomach tough news. Im done going to Disney Land all the time. Your numbers and words are meaningless at this point. Results are needed. Get the dollars. Don't need Marks cents.
Im loyal to a fault, but with about a million shares in this with friends and family which is nothing to him and everything to us, do your job, be the guy we signed up for, seal the F'n deal.
Thanks for sharing.
Do we have a replay of the presentation anywhere by chance?
I hear ya. Been appreciating all the info lately. I know I have been quite quiet as of late. I believe something is coming. Soon in a mines life. Whatever the heck that means…
High guess? LOL
Best guess on what those numbers could possibly be???
100%
Cheers Moncole
Few days? C’mon man. Stop making stuff up. That’s all you ever do. Been green all week, even yesterday. Stick to the facts.
Does this mean we are trying to move to a different stock exchange?
