News out: Sanswire encouraged by Obama administration's view on UAV's.
Mide, This happens every day in the business world. timelines
keep getting pushed back and in many cases are out of our control.Nilremerlin had the right information but the wrong date.(lol).Sometimes charts need to be adjusted...
It seems like these estimates take on more signifigance when
anticipation is high and as we get tantalizing close to fruition.
Destan, hang on man- 2009 is only 7 weeks away and a lot of positives may happen before then.
Mide: I am assuming that you are referring to the following;
Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement,
Paragraph 3. .... and file it's form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007 and forms 10 Q for the Quarterly periods thru June 30, 2008 (" The Preregistration Agreements" ).
Still waiting for the 10Q's. In your opinion it will take around 3-4 more weeks to see them?
BB
Mide: If I may ask, why has your timeline slipped by two weeks as per your last post?

Who would have thought that SNSR would be a safe haven for my money during these troubled financial times???
(: (:
BB
If I may, my scottrade shows only GTEM# with number of shares .
No other data
BB
The 2007 financials are available for everyone's
perusal as of 6:01A.M. (SEC filings ).
BB
Jet, They are already answering the phone at the home office with " Hello Sanswire ". However , I take this as a good thing.
Now that they have the name right, they should be able to move forward, get the financials current, resolve the SEC charges, and sign a contract or two.
Bagelboy
The globetel website (Globetel.net ) is now Sanswire.com.Is this new or did I miss it? When did it change over? There is also new
stuff about being leaner and meaner..
Bagelboy
Destan, being a resident of Germany and very interested
in Sanswire/Tao, are you also familiar with StratXX (Near space technology company? They seem to have similiar objectives
as sanswire/Tao and both have low, medium, and high altitude
airships. Their timelines for getting these products to market
is apparently identical also.
StratXX is domiciled in Hunenberg, Switzerland which is about
200 Km. from Stuttgart.
Your thoughts on the competition to reach near space by
these two companies or others would be appreciated.
JF, I agree with your assessment of the situation.
Time will tell however it looks more and more favorable.
Financials, contract, SEC settlement, new exchange,
equals a paradigm shift in how this company is perceived.
All IMO.
BB
If I could take a guess, I would say it was the Lotte.
BB
Mide, That is the clearest explanation yet and makes
perfect sense. Thanks for explaining that in clear terms.
Hope it is executed that way.
BB
Sharklady00, You stated Weinberg needs to release the financials by Friday . Why the deadline? What are the consequences if they are not released by Friday?
TIA
BB
rwehapi2003, Yes , it has been down for most of the afternoon today.I have no clue why.
BB
Looks like an update for the lotte/Stuttgart website.

Don't know whether this has been posted before.
Mide, agree completely. Enough is enough!
It has been far too long a wait from Weinberg.
I called earlier and got the recorded message that the office was closed for the day but left a message concerning the handling of these financials ( or lack there of ) these many months.
A fellow shareholder and a friend of mine did reach Elliot Weinberg this A.M. with the same message- where are the financials? After a not too nice exchange between the two, Mr. Weinberg calmed down and said that they were very close on getting the financials out.
It is sad that we have to resort to such tactics, however
enough is enough.
All IMO.

BareBaxBo, would this volume have anything to do
with taking a tax loss for tax year 2007?
It is the 15th. of April- Tax Day.

In an article in the Washington Post today entitled
"Future Combat: A costly vision:weapons upgrade faces big hurdles" by Alec Klein , even though Globetel is NOT remotely
mentioned in the article, he talks about the future battlefield
involving high speed wireless software radios and TSAT, the
Army's proposed high speed satellite network for transmitting
voice and data. Any comments.

You are absolutely right, runandadd.
I have seen the light and have sold all my shares.
I have lost all hope for this endeavor.
Please say a prayer for all of us who have lost.

Skyvision, I too was very impressed by the maneuverability
of this craft, especially, as you pointed out , on the
nose-first landing.I am a neophyte in this area but
this looks like the "real deal". Very graceful and
fun to watch.Congrats to the crew and associates working
on this project.
gtel1, I think we are done with Dohan.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- GlobeTel Communications Corp. (Pink Sheets:GTEM) today announced that it has appointed Weinberg & Co., Boca Raton, Florida, as its new independent auditors for fiscal year 2006 effective April 13, 2007.

I am still here too, mide, although I don't post much.
Added more today.I will take the contrarian view on
this stock with so many wanting to see Globetel gone.
Call it an investment or call it a gamble. Makes no
difference to me and Joe can call me "birdbrain"
or bagelboy- still makes no difference to me...

This is from the PR of 17 Nov.,2006 announcing Joe's
appointment as COO.
"Mr. Monterosso's involvement with GlobeTel began in 2004 when the Company began to migrate international wholesale carrier operations to Centerline and its subsidiaries. Since that time, Mr. Monterosso has developed a larger corporate presence within the Company, lending his managerial skills, production talent and leadership to the Company's other business segments."

Mr. Thornton. Those are not my words.
In the brochure there is a heading entitled " Our panel
of Prominent Experts ". The AIE ( American Institute of Engineers ) must think Mr. Khoury is a " Prominent Expert ".

Imawswami,Technology Training Corp. is hosting a seminar
on Maritime Security and domain awareness on Oct. 4 and 5
in San Diego and one of the Prominent Experts at this
conference will be Mr. Peter Khoury. See below.
Received this e-mail announcing the Seminar this A.M.
To say the least, i am very confused and concerned
regarding the postings and share price plunge of the
last few days and how these facts jive with this latest
seminar announcement.
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS, INITIATIVES AND OPPORTUNITIES on the Needs in Protecting the Borders and Ports
San Diego, CA • October 4-5, 2007
Maritime Security & Domain Awareness:
New Opportunities, Plans, and Critical Needs
Evolving terrorist and asymmetric threats require the development of new maritime technical capabilities across a broad range of domains - from transport and commerce security to the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies necessary to ensure: broad area, coastal and port security; systems interoperability; ship identification and credentialing; underwater security; and maritime communications defense. Because maritime security and domain awareness are so complex, they impact not only our naval and coast guard forces, but also those organizations committed to anti-terrorism and operators of the nation's ports. Over-arching these considerations is the need to develop better situational awareness in the maritime domain, as well as the need to design and develop new mechanisms for real-time intelligence and information sharing.
This outstanding conference brings together the experts and organizations at the forefront of developing the necessary technologies and management strategies to assure Maritime Domain Awareness goals are met and adequate protection of US maritime borders, ports, transportation and commerce is attained. What is the status and forecast for implementing new Maritime Domain Awareness requirements? What are the latest WMD threat assessments? What role will the Navy's Broad Area Maritime Surveillance program play? What new technologies are being developed for communications and infrastructure protection? Port surveillance, intelligence and inspection? What role will new unmanned systems play? Traditional Navy and Coast Guard platforms? These and many other questions will be addressed at this event.

Rocky,
I normally don't post but only read these boards from time to time since I do have a monetary interest ( Shares )in GTEM.
In your first statement of this post, you say that Raytheon
or other interested parties would in order to keep their options open not form a formal agreement with Globetel.
I disagree. In my opinion now would be a good time for a formal
agreement considering steps taken by new management to correct
the mistakes of inept or overzealous managers that did not perform. If Raytheon or other interested parties have seen inprovement and believe in the technology, now would be a good time.

I see here that we have a lot of Aeronautical Engineers
on board today.That's cool.
Thank God you guys were not around when the Wright brothers
took off from Kitty Hawk!!(LOL )
Bagelboy
Sirius,
Personnally, I really don't care what this craft looks like.
What is important is " Does this bird fly ?" and will it
stay on station? My opinion is YES and YES.
I wish Bob Jones crew all the best in their most complex
endeavor and believe that success in this and all of
GTE's divisions will be realized in the near future.
Bagelboy
Sirius, check out the photo of Bob Jones holding the
fin. The floating object is held down with, what appears
to be, orange sand bags and there is yellow tape that
can be seen against the backdrop of the blue wall in
the background. Hello!!

Pit. Follow-up call from vozbrasil employee concerning
my concern as a shareholder about sign-up calls and vozbrasil
website.
The vozbrasil associate assured me that the phone order
taking line never went down but was busy but operative at all
times. The vozbrasil website was down for a time for updating
and to install patches but is now up and running.
In addition the associate said that the World Cup
Ad campaign was now in progress primarily in targeted
Portuguese areas of Boston, Mass., Newark, N.J.,and Florida.
This Ad campaign involves E-mailings, web banners, and print
in Portuguese newspapers and magazines.
BTW, the first Brazilian game is this upcoming week...
Bagelboy
Ken w. I am a lurker who has never posted before and after
reading your post, called the 888 number for vosbrasil service.
I got the same response that you alluded to and gave my telephone number for a call-back. In less than an hour,at
approx. 2:35 P.M. today I got a return call from a person
from vosbrasil calling from 1-305-407-2370 who asked me
if he could help me signup for the vosbrasil service. I
told him that I was a shareholder and was concerned about the
vosbrasil phone tag situation. He said the response had been
very good and that his associates at vosbrasil were very excited about this service and GTE in general. I also told him
that I could not bring up the vosbrasil website and he said that he would notify technical assistance immediately. He also said that he would give me a return call later.
He also said that the ad campaign involving the World cup had
not started yet.
