NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -U.S. stocks continued their advance Wednesday amid another retreat in crude-oil prices and a rally in semiconductors after a broker call. BTWO has developed a technology that is superior to all of its competitors in the Video-On-Demand marketplace. This will be more attractive and create more of an edge to big boys such as LodgeNet or LNET as we begin to take market share from them. Also installation costs are a quarter of what others can install for and therefore a better choice for hotels. The implementation of the business model would result in 100,000-200,000 new hotel rooms operating a profit of $28 a room on average by the end of 2006. How can we be so sure this can happen, well we were sold on the thought with the above information but it gets better as we had mentioned before.
The company has obtained the focused attention by a very reputable guru, Greg Bell. Mr. Bell is one of the early pioneers and entrepreneurs in Digital Media and has been working in the field for over 10 years. He was involved in the early creation of the technologies and algorithms that allowed analog media to be transformed into digital bits and compressed data streams and created specific business units to capitalize on these new technologies at NewTek, Scientific Atlanta, and Compression Labs. Additionally, he was one of the initial Vice Presidents of Business Development for Qwest Communications where he developed Qwest's Digital Media Company, Slingshot Networks and then became EVP/COO of Slingshot.
This all has major significance in the efforts to increase shareholder value. The official position for Mr. Bell has not been outlined yet but for him to be interested in this company in the first place adds value and creditability to BTWO.
