Great volume and action the past week. Looking forward to going higher. I just wish we had a solid IR firm that could be running with this right now.
Hysterical CHP. And accurate.
You're welcome. As a very large shareholder, I am always looking to improve shareholder value. It is great that we are seeing a spike in volume and price. And I hope it continues. My suggestion was based on the fact that the street, at that time, did not know who SCRC was. That seems to be changing and if it has, I have no issues. However, if this is a temporary spike and we fall back because of lack of exposure, then the suggestion should be re-addressed. There is nothing wrong with bringing in someone who can take the company to the next level. Good companies do it all the time. You guys need to stop taking suggestions like this so personal.
Hey, I have an idea. With the new LOC and it's use is to expand and pay off debt, why not use it to buy back some of this crappy paper that is out there. I mean if the management truly believes that is a $1+ stock by this time next year then buying back all of that stock at .11 would be a great deal. And it would bring some stability to it's trading. Heck, they will probably be able to pay off that purchase on the LOC by end of Q1 2015 if the stock is north of .20. And what a boost to investor morale to see a buy-back. Just a though.
Martin, I agree that 2015 will be a great year for SCRC. The issues I have is why are we trading where we are now. By the technicals, this thing should have already broken out and has not. Why? And CHP is the only one who has given some response to the question. Others just spew their nonsense and petty name calling which is just pathetic. In the end, investors like myself and our group which own quite a bit of this stock will be very happy just to see it move north of .15 and hold there for a while but for some reason, we can't seem to get above .12 and remain there. It would be nice to see some active marketing of the company which is why I have suggested numerous times for a solid IR firm to be hired and perform such activities. My best guess is at this point, no one knows that SCRC even exists.
Thank you CHP for a well thought out, insightly, non name-calling response. That is why I like this board so much more than other places. Good discussions about SCRC, sharing of ideas and concerns in an environment of mature investors. Thanks.
Ok, so where should the PPS of SCRC be at this point? They are doing $60M in revenue and making money. Should it be trading for .12 a share and a $16.3M market cap? If yes, why? If not, what is the missing piece that the market isn't seeing? Or what are they seeing that they don't like?
Please, just reply with good, logical answers. No petty name calling. Thanks.
This is all exciting news. The problem is we still have no buyers for the stock. And until the street catches on, we can have great news every day and nothing will happen. I hope Bob uses this new credit line to hire a solid IR firm to start pitching SCRC. Right now, either no one knows or cares which is killing the PPS.
Most likely based on receivables.
And that is the part that is confusing. What is it that the buyers out there are seeing that we are not that is keeping them away? With the technicals it should be alerting quite a few out there to start buying and that has not happened yet. Curious.
So we have all of this paper that needs to be gotten through. Ok. Even with that, shouldn't there be some buyers jumping into this stock now? We have had nothing but good news lately and we still have anemic volume and buying.
Actually, they did fine. Nervous is good in this case. Just by having them state that there will be consistent conference calls was a good sign. The next one will be smoother.
I'm not too sure how much of the market knows about today's call. I imagine there will be some buying in the coming days. It would be good if Bob does take the advice of the first questioner today and put out another release stating that SCRC is making money. That announcement will garner a lot of attention and bring new buyers in. And the sooner that occurs the sooner we can chew through the outstanding paper we are dealing with now.
Love the first caller. I remember posting about why they DIDN'T announce they had made EPS and I was flamed here and elsewhere. Too funny. Hopefully, Bob will get an announcement out in short order and we will see the PPS start to move in the right direction. Otherwise, a good call.
Ok, so I have a question. And please, no pathetic name calling or insults. Just answer the question in a mature manner please. I, being a very large shareholder in SCRC bought into this stock with the hopes of it climbing in price. I'm pretty sure that is why everyone is here. But with all of the good news around the company with numbers, the PPS isn't really moving. Is it wrong to think that a company with good revenues and EPS shouldn't have it's stock moving up in price? Why would the PPS stay where it is with all of the revenue numbers that are coming out? With this type of annual run rate, this stock should be screaming but it's not. If anyone can answer this, without insults or name calling, it would be appreciated.
Who knows at this point. Maybe the market has the same impression of SeeThruEquity as they do of the investors Bob has brought into the company.
Actually after conferring with some additional institutional investors, the lack of street buying is because of the investors that Bob got involved with the company, and that includes those posting on other boards. The old saying...."if you sleep with dogs, you will wake up with fleas" fits here. SCRC is full of fleas that the "legitimate" investors want nothing to do with. We will be facing an uphill climb for the next few qtrs. CFP and EPS will help but until Bob gets some legitimate investors, IR and bankers involved, all the street will see is the fleas.
I would tend to agree Sandan. SCRC has now reached CFP and EPS. Now what is needed to get through all of these cheap shares and to have Bob get some legitimate IR in place. Also, Bob would also do us a favor to find a mainstream, legitimate investment group/bank that can take the lead now on any additional funding needs. No more groups that give institutional investors pause or worry.
I think it would be a very good thing to happen as well. I think what needs to happen prior is to get all of the surplus of stock that is out there cleaned up and for Bob to be associated with some legitimate IR and Marketing firms. He has done one conference which is a step in the right direction but now he needs to distance himself and the company away from retail investor groups who now control the marketing and the message. I pretty much got verification that a few institutional groups are not too keen on the investment groups that are involved with SCRC at this point. Reputations I guess.
If Bob does take these steps, I think we will be in good shape. Hopefully he does.
I think it is this volatility, coupled with who is involved with the stock (investment groups) that is clearly keeping institutional investors away. We may be in for a very bumpy year-end as it's clear that the street doesn't care about this company being profitable or having EPS, just who is involved which hurts us all.
Good luck to everyone as I believe we are going to need it.
One last thing JJ. There are plenty of owners of this stock here. Some like myself choose to post but many others do not. In the end, I know of over well over 1M shares that are owned by folks in the group that I'm in so don't let anyone elsewhere push the lie that no one here owns shares. It is a lie and nothing more.
Again, in the end, its about making money, not pushing weird agendas for some reason. Posts should be about helping this company and pushing it forward, not belittling others which is just pathetic and sad.
JJ, welcome to the board. And you are correct, we are mature here and that means you will NOT be called childish names or berated when you have concerns/questions/suggestions. In the end, we are all in this stock to make money and all of us have opinions that can be addressed and voiced here.
My perspective on the company is changing. My main concern for some time now was the fact that the CEO was not getting out in front of institutional investors. With this last conference, he has now done this. Now I would just like to see him take the marketing reins away from some retail investors at another board and get a solid IR firm that will take the lead. A good IR firm has a rolodex of institutional investors, family offices and boutique groups that they can make sure are always in the know as to what is happening with the company. That will drive more institutional investors to the stock. If Bob can get going on this in December, I will feel much better heading forward. We had good numbers for Q3 but unfortunately it didn't do much for the PPS as it should have done. I attribute that to the market just not knowing about the company. The Q for Q4 will be out in Feb of 2015. Here's to hoping Bob will have a solid marketing and IR firm in place when it hits so that the Street finally hears about the company.
Good luck to everyone.
Still no "real" replies on this observation and question. Oh well. Seems Bob is still content with marketing this company on BBs with retail investors telling everyone to hold, or that the stock will be double a year from now (oh wow, up to .24 in a year is HUGE) or calling them petty names when they don't like what they hear. I think it is becoming very clear as to why we don't have institutional support for SCRC.
Just read the pr from yesterday:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/scripsamerica-comments-financial-results-third-130000706.html
All good but I don't understand why they wouldn't talk about being CFP. How about having earnings for the shareholders? I just don't get these guys. You filed your Q and have earnings of $.011. Why not tout that in this PR?
I, along with others, was told that maybe we should leave SCRC and go for a cheaper penny stock. The latter of your comment is accurate.
So does anyone know if they are going to do any press announcing they had their first profitable qtr? It's great the Q is out but unless someone knows or was looking for it there are many, many investors out there that just don't know about SCRC.
Thanks for the reply. Others posting on other forums are saying my fear that the news from SCRC has fallen on deaf ears is unfounded but until we start seeing some bumps in the PPS, the fear is correct. And although I appreciate the advice to move to another penny stock I will pass. I am a VERY large investor in this stock and am looking for a nice return. They have CFP, now Bob needs a professional IR firm to start marketing the stock. Hmmmm.....seems like I have been saying this for quite some time now.
And CHP, thanks for the replies. We may not always agree but I appreciate it that you never digress into petty, childish name calling. Thanks.
We should have seen a fairly decent bounce off an an EPS announcement and we didn't. Again, Bob has put the marketing of this company into the hands of investors which is never wise. Remember last July? I'm glad he did this investor conference but now is the time to get a professional IR firm that can start pitching the company to more institutional investors. My fear is that this great development will have fallen on deaf ears.
I'm glad they announced EPS and that they have cash in the bank. I am still wondering where are the buyers? For news of a BB stock making money and just coming off of a decent Q that there would be some serious buying going on.
So if my math is correct, and there are times it is not, I come up with $.011 EPS. Can anyone confirm or give me a better figure? Thanks.
Q is out.
There should be no reason for the Q not to be filed tomorrow. None.
Does anyone know when the Q is hitting? Is tomorrow the last day or can they put it out on Monday since the 15th is on Saturday? Just anxious to see how we did for Q3 since I am a VERY large shareholder (quite a bit more than $10K as some that are clueless have suggested.) All you can do is laugh at comments like that.
Not releasing the Q prior to the show yesterday was a wasted opportunity.
