I'm long ERBB, I'm just joking around, man. Not SUPER keen on the overall tone of the email, but, if Shearin keeps filling orders for the machines, he can say whatever he wants in his emails.
It doesn't even seem possible to sell my shares... My share count is still where it was pre-split, but no matter what number I enter to sell, even 10 shares, it says I don't own that many shares. Is this a common thing while splits are taking place?
I'm hoping the email is fake, I'm not a huge fan of a COO saying "getting shit done" in an email haha.
I'm a shareholder here, have been for a while, I don't think it's useless banter. Not all news is good news, if we gap down tomorrow I'd rather know why than be taken off guard by it.
Wow, man. Brilliant work. I'm looking into liquidating a few current stinkers and moving those assets into STEV. To put things into Pazner-speak: My supply lines have grown thin and a major coordinated attack is now necessary from the STEV battalion! BOOM!
Now this is more like it, stevpack!
Depending on the nature of the PR, I think we can see an ATTB* run here.
Looking to add some cheap shares if they're still there by Tuesday morning. Already my biggest holding, but I have enough faith in this company to bend my risk management rules with it a tad. I really don't think you can blame last week on shorts, it was a truly perfect storm of horrible.
Not sure if it's kosher to name other tickers here, but CANN being halted was a big deal, it shook the entire MJ sector. Hemp and stevia aside, our current exposure is that we're vaguely associated with MJ, and we're going to be feeling the reels of the MJ sector just as much as any other ticker will be. CANN and PHOT being halted was already awful for us, but we were hit extra hard by the attacks on the credibility of the "wolf pack approved" picks going on over the past weeks. STEV is VERY low on the radar, and I believe that most of our rising price action over the past month has been from the word of mouth from the wolf pack tweeting about it. A LOT of people holding those picks have been spooked lately, especially last week, and we've done essentially what all the wolf pack approved PPS's have done: we've gone back in time by about a month.
The MJ market is already showing some slight signs of recovering, the attacks on wolf pack approved picks should be far less of an issue moving forward (I'll be adding new funds to a couple other of the picks this week as well), and I believe we're about to see all the movement we've experienced in the last month in about a week or less. A good PR this week, and we're to the sky.
The halting of PHOT was something that hurt the sector very badly, but the upside is that the sector is now searching for new leading companies that they can trust. I think we have a major shot at being one of those companies. This company has never acted like a penny stock; STEV acts like a company on the NYSE or Nasdaq.
tl;dr I like this company, want to add more shares.
Bought in at .36, if it stays at these levels until Tuesday, I'll be able to average down the buys a little bit and take advantage of these prices. A lot of eyes will be on these conferences, and they have discussed owning land in Maui that could be used for growing hemp, which Hawaii is currently voting on legalizing the growth of. This market cap says that this stock just hasn't been noticed yet, and that'll be changing very soon.
Very true, I'm still new, made some terrible decisions at the start, I've figured out by now that with companies with big futures it's not the price you entered in at but rather how many shares you own anywhere near the ground level, and this thing looks like ground level anywhere under a dollar. If I were smart I'd just force myself to not even look at this stock for the next 90 days, it's not like I'm selling anyway.
Biggest lesson I've learned since I've started trading: Making the right decisions matters little if everybody else is making stupid ones.
Longterm, we're all going to Vegas.
I'm getting slightly worried (well, okay, very worried) about broadly advertising long positions. It's like a bat signal for shorters with deep pockets to come over and egg your house. I think keeping anything "pack" related on the DL over the twittersphere might not be a poor idea at the moment, lest we see an SA article pop up from the Fraud Research Institute on STEV.
It's insane that PHOT got halted. Really sad. MJNA and CANV exist and the SEC halts PHOT and CANN, it's a mad world.
This fear of the reverse split is fairly unwarranted. They're talking over the shell of a company, a company that was completely unrelated, why would they want to be stuck with an old company's share structure? VAPE did a reverse split after taking over a shell, and it rose 300% afterward. A reverse split does not mean doom and gloom if it's happening with a reverse merger, it simply doesn't. Have the people panicking done any DD on Indie Grower's Union? They're going to be HUGE. As in SUPER HUGE. When I saw this PR today, I was a little disappointed, because I thought I'd missed the boat. I can't believe I had time to transfer money AND buy shares at 50% after the IGU news was confirmed. Can't wait to finally own some of this stock.
True, but I still hope to catch a "coming soon" or some kinda fun stuff.
Anybody else keeping realhemp.com open in tab and refreshing it a dozen times a day?
I agree, learning to quiet those amateur emotions. The gains from my crazier positions get filtered little by little right into here.
Hasn't been easy watching huge moves elsewhere in my portfolio with most of my money in STEV, but patience will pay...
I definitely think this is where STEV is headed in the short term. I love the MMJ sector, but stevia and hemp are two health foods that will sell huge. Like, pumped by Oprah huge.
I wish I had powder at .20. It's always nice when a time machine takes you back to load up the truck again.
I know that we've tried to clear up the confusion between STEV's hemp and stevia plays, but is it really all that crazy to think that STEV could be working on a hemp-based food additive? Look at this page, and at one of the ingredients in this product:
http://www.cswiss.com/en/selection/hemp_seed.html
Hemp seed extract, eh? Hmm... STEV's possible stockpile of $1,000,000 worth of hemp seeds seems to be a whole lot of seeds for just planting, and doesn't STEV own quite a few patents that we haven't gotten any info on yet? What if not all of these seeds are being planted? What if, instead, STEV is doing ScIeNcE to them and creating a food additive that is both sweet AND provides some of the CBD health benefits of hemp? And what if they own the patent to that certain something?
$STEV- I'm not trimming my position, ever.
I somehow completely missed reading that 8k, and, now that I have, I'm probably more excited about this company than I've ever been. We had ideas of what they had in store before this: vertical hemp products, leveraged mj growing strategy, hemp crops, cbc extractions... but this 8k proves that STEV is cooking things up that we can't even imagine. And they're not blatantly PR'ing these plans. They're leaving cookie crumbs to be examined. It's what a confident company with a strong future is prone to do. Either read between the lines, or be completely blindsided when this goes BOOM very soon. It reminds me of reading that 8k from MIN*: You're not really sure what's coming, but you know it's carefully orchestrated to be a complete game changer. I'm so happy to be involved right now.
$STEV- my largest current holding!
Cramer, you impressed AB! I'll take that over SA any day! All the info for STEV is out there, now to just sit back and watch it spread...
Gotta love a stock that looks like a pink but, in reality, is just Canadian :)
Hey all, I finally did it, couldn't stay away from this one. Trimmed a bit of a beloved stock to get my feet wet here. Just looks too good, if it stays around here or goes lower, I'll be adding more.
POWER HOUR
All we need now is a good basher in here and we're in blue skies!
Based on Panzer's reaction, I have a feeling we could soon be seeing quite a twitter presence from that article.
nwar has the link on post #3885. If the stevia hype from a couple years ago rears up its head again, we're all even better off than we previously thought. From a sociological standpoint, it's looking more and more likely that we'll all be talking about this plant a lot more in the next couple years.
Awesome article, but clearly not negative enough for SA at the moment :)
It tastes sweet, but without the calories!
A stock that's as manipulated as this one seems to be can only mean one thing: there's gold in them rivers!
Wow, that's awesome! Any exposure at all is fantastic news! Especially exposure involving the DD you've done, Pennypacker!
I'm going to go the route of selling half whenever something moves up in a parabolic fashion. I haven't been trading for long, but, if I've noticed anything, it's that something going up 150% over a few days and then closing at 5% down the next is a good indicator that you should sell half and see if it drops another 15-30%.
Panzer, I have a friend that calls me crazy for trimming some of my gains from the wolfpack's other picks and putting them in STEV; I'm convinced that I'm a genius. I started adding before this was formally approved, but was forced to immediately double down when it was mentioned on twitter (those trimmings were heartbreaking, but they had to be done). STEV is like ATTB* meets MIN*, a sleeping powerhouse that combines an amazing business model with multi-sector appeal. This is currently my second largest holding, and it's only a matter of time before it becomes the largest. I remember when ATTB* took off, NOBODY saw it coming (I remember it clearly, I was waiting for funds to clear to buy it between .14 and .17 and lost out), and I think STEV will pull a similar move.
All it takes is one catalyst, one little thing to pick the volume up juuuuust enough, and this thing is blue skies. I can see it easily doubling from here without even having a PR out.
Big time :) That move at close today was a great change-up for STEV, I couldn't be more excited for tomorrow.
It definitely is, but I find it's a good place to look if you're suspecting manipulation on a stock. If something seems to keep dropping for no good reason, odds are you can find fishy accounts bashing it on the Yahoo boards. Which is a great sign to buy into it.
I think we dropped today because A)many people bought in expecting immediate machine news and got impatient, and B)we've just had a massive run. Not worried about this stock at all, after the recent run, we're holding gains very well, and once the machine is revealed the overall sentiment around ERBB is going to change drastically. You gotta read between the lines on this one, they're positioning themselves EXTREMELY well for the future.
I watched an old interview with Ron last night, he seems like a pretty great guy, like the sort of guy that's more interested in the company than the stock. He certainly knows where to put his money.
