A marijuana plant is photogenic, it goes through phases based on the length of daylight, it grows vegatively (only stems/leaves) in the spring when the days are long (indoors they leave the lights on for 24 hours straight) than when the days get short in the fall (indoors they turn the light on or 12 hours/off for 12 hours) the plant starts to flower to produce seeds before winter. (theres males and females, the females grow flowers, the males release pollen, if you remove all males the female doesnt make seeds and your left with just flowers (bud)) this flowering phase takes a certain amount of time and varies usually 8-10 weeks. this cant be sped up as the flowers of the plant need to grow sufficient tricomes (the crystals) which will mature and start producing THC, the active ingredient in medicinal marijuana. The THC content increases in the last 2 weeks of flowering and plants must be harvested at a presice time for optimum product, you have a 5ish day window where the maturity varies, and CBD content changes, the more CBD's the more of a body stone effect, the less, the more of a "head high"...
All the high tech hydroponic equipment just increases the amount of flowers(bud) a plant can grow in its life cycle.. The amount of flowers a plant can grow depend basically on the size of its roots and amount of light it can use to grow them. hydroponics allow for massive root balls that can grow massive plants. its the light that causes the problems, nothing is as good as the sun. plants need a specific spectrum of light to grow, and it varies from vegitive phase to flowering phase, during flowering, the best spectrum and most lumens (light) comes from high intesity discharge lamps H.I.D of the HPS high pressure sodium variety. These lights are most efficient at 2000 watts for commercial growing.
when talking grow room efficiency it is ALL ABOUT the grams per watt..
the best growers in the world (mostly amsterdam since they have been legally growing for so long) can usualy get a maximum yeild of 1 gram of product from each watt of light...
the reason they use this way of determining efficiency is because its a science, how many plants to put under each light without overcrowding, too many plants and they block light from each other.
you can put 50 plants or 5 plants under one 2000 watt HPS light, and you cant expect more than 2000 grams of product, there just isnt enough light to produce more than that, and thats the holy grail of efficiency...generally, one 2k watt HPS covers each 10'x10' in most high efficiency grow rooms so 100 sq ft per light (you can use many different light formulas, 10 200watt lights would give the same efficiency, the only number that changes below is the # of lights, not the needed sq/ft)
to grow 1,300,000 lbs of product per year @ 454 grams per lbs (590,200,000 grams)
Divide this by the 4 harvest they get per year = (147,550,000 grams per harvest)
Holy grail of efficency would be 2000 grams per 10'x10' (100 sq/ft) which = 7,377,500 sq/ft need to grow 1,300,000 lbs of product per year.

if they used it ALL for the flowering rooms and had no veg rooms(40% size of flowering rooms).
They could AT BEST produce 3524 lbs per harvest or 14096 lbs per year.

even with a 10 acre building (lol) thats 435,600 sq/ft = 19,189LBS per harvest !!! WAY OFF
They got LAUGHED off the stage at arcview when presenting there crazy number to smart rich people that know how to grow weed. Arcview is a group of reputable people, they would only ever call out a company like they did FITX if not to legitimatley warn investors for good reason.
it all a pump, theres soooooo many red flags, ALL THE INFO THE PUMPERS HAVE, is based on fairy dust, things that havent hapened.
Keep in mind, anyone who says "why would PHOT or so n so do buisness with a fraud... well, technicaly they havent, at all, im sure any deal is predicated on the application approval. which is also the PERFECT way out.. after pumping and dumping they only have to say they diddnt get approved and its all honkey dory. Bill is a lawyer, the perfect guy to work the system.
another thing. PHOT in no way can help set up a commercial grow op, thats totaly different equipment than what PHOT does... PHOT was a companay going under, dont forget, desperation?
