“ Anyone who doesn’t believe Bolt Threads could ever compete with KBLB…”
Evidently that includes Bolt Threads. Did you not read what you posted? They’re not even in the fight according to this.
I’d say this is a plan for the original Bolt investors to create some hype, make an offering, and jump ship.

“There is absolutely no doubt that the properties of the silk are what we say they are. These silk fibers were sent off to a commercial analysis lab in Korea where they analyze commercial silks, and they did these analyses blind and found that our silk was stronger than anything that they had ever seen before. In fact, they wanted to know what it was because they'd never seen a silk with these kinds of properties. It’s thinner, it's smoother, and it's stronger!”

In case anyone needs a reminder of the implications of what Kim is holding in that photo.
Proof of production and one or two contract announcements with a couple 800lb gorillas would do that in a hurry.
Once production is proven, and the product is everything that everyone was hoping for, and adoption of the product is happening as is anticipated… all those deep pockets will shit themselves to get a piece of Kraig Labs.
Think about all the industries…
”As production quantities increase, the Company expects to begin addressing demand from additional market segments, including:
• Engineering textiles
• Composites
• Cosmetics
• Defensive and protective textiles
• Bio-plastics that are biodegradable and bio-compatible
• Fiber optics
• Medical textiles, fibers, ligaments, wound dressings, skin grafts, and tissue engineering”
So… how soon could it hit $5? This year if all goes as planned. I’m assuming rapid expansion in Vietnam. And I believe there will be expansion to India announced this year. AF contract that begins US facility?
All that and we go past $5
We’ll find out soon enough.
“and at least 10 bucks a share without a r/s...”
Is that all? lol
I’ll take it!!
I won’t. At least I wouldn’t be happy if he sold under $5.
Just for fun, how high does KBLB need to go to out you in the top 1%?
https://dqydj.com/top-one-percent-united-states/
Of course he won’t settle til it’s the price he believes it’s worth. He’d have sold long ago if his price tag were low.
“ Never said he DID sell”
But you whined about the possibility and brought it up. Why in the world are you invested in a company that you believe the CEO would do that?
If you think Kim is an actual crook, run for your life. If not, try on some big boy pants and act like you know what you’re doing.
Nothing reveals the novices like the volatility of the OTC when the sharks are biting. If today rocked your world, get out now because the real action is yet to come. Take that candy ass Alaskan from Facebook with you. He’s been here longer than you have and he doesn’t know what he’s doing either.
Just a little studying will get you there. I recommend you start with mutual funds or ETFs.
Play it safe. Put all your money on the VOO.
Oh brother. I guess you’re outing yourself as one of the emotional ones I was talking about.
Do you know so little about this game that you actually think Kim would get away with dumping shares during this run up? Without us knowing about it?
That is something that won’t fly even on the otc. Good lord grow up. Learn something would you. Don’t be such a sucker.
We all know how many attempts they’ve made. You must have missed the photo of the first production batch of recombinant spider silk that was processed into finished reeled raw silk. It was 25kg. Given the life cycle of the silkworms that identify as spiders, there have a couple more larger batches at least since the photo of the original batch was taken.
That’s great news!!! Only KBLB has done that. All others have FAILED!!!!
Sure they do. Did you miss the photo of Kim holding the first batch?
“Renovation of the new facility will need to happen first, followed by "spring" trials (which will soon become the "summer" trials), along with a slew of other things.”
Don’t you remember? Jealmc said spring was in March. Then you corrected her saying it was in February. You were right the first time. The BamBam trials start in March. Those are different trials. The original DS production batch was weeks ago.
All signs point to production being underway. I believe you may have missed the photo of Kim holding the first small production batch (25kg) of recombinant spider silk that was processed into finished reeled raw silk.
Only KBLB has pulled that off. All others have failed.
What do you think genetic “drift” is?
How will any genes “drift” if every single generation is a one and done?
Yes. Everyone awaits sales. And the prereq for sales is production. One reason for the increase is because it appears that production is underway (of the DS Kim is holding) and people are risking more in order to get ahead of the production announcement.
Another reason is because the current surge attracted penny traders who are expecting KBLB to act like every other penny. And they follow strategies right out of the textbook and they begin selling at once. That’s fine. I welcome that.
The experienced longs keep their eyes on the news and decide with each PR if the news is still pointing towards production. Looks like it is.
But some longs will fall prey to the fear mongering. They lose focus and are suckered into emotional trading, forgetting that the extremely low volume should have been their clue to why they should not get too excited just yet about big moves in either direction. I’ve been warning everyone about the extremely low volume and this being a whipsaw all along. I hope some listened
It’s a good idea to wait for sales first. Not everyone can stomach what they are watching
Brilliant post! Thanks for sharing.
I think everyone hyper focused on BamBam since Kim had said that it would be the bedrock of mass production.
All that un-Kim-like clear language that we’ve been wanting for years blew over too many heads.
Kim was VERY clear about moving forward with DS, its limited production, WHY it was limited, and exactly WHAT the limited batches are for.
He said, “DS production batches small for now because BamBam is coming soon. DS going to supply high end clothing. “BamBam metric tonnage second half of year.”
So they’re producing for clothing in first half of year with the limited batches, then after BamBam trials it eventually knocks out old DS tech and then they jack it up to tonnage.
But somehow people heard tonnage in q3 and that somehow meant no production before then
I wonder if they got that idea from that same guy who saw the headline “NEW production facility in Lam Dong” and wrote a 325 word essay on how that really meant “NO NEW production facility in lam Dong.” SMGDH
“ If you can get spider silk and mass produce it cheaply, you never need plastic again. It’s 100 percent green. It’s made of protein and saltwater,” he says.”
A good read about our “niche product that no one will need”.
https://blog.nature.org/2019/01/15/could-spider-silk-become-a-natural-replacement-for-plastic/
I think people are confused by DS spring trials and the BamBam spring trials spoken of today. I think the confusion over which trials start when comes from the hybrid homozygosity being announced during the other trials.
We’ve been in the ramp up phase for 6-8 weeks at least.
News of the DS trials is imminent. This is why Z believes it will soar soon.
January 22nd:
“Kraig Labs is currently in the process of ramping up production trials of its recombinant spider silk under the trademark Dragon SilkTM. …Because production quantities will be relatively limited DURING the early stages of the production ramp-up, and because we will have control of that limited supply of Dragon Silk, it makes sense for us to focus on markets where we can control the end use of the Dragon Silk”

December 22nd:
“ While our core focus remains on the IMMEDIATE COMMERCIALIZATION of existing spider silk technologies, our molecular biology team continues to work on the next generation of materials.”
“ like taking candy from a baby...”
No doubt about it. We’ve watched this stock for so long that grabbing a few on this dip was a no brainer. I don’t care if the drop continues, I’ll buy more. Momentum is still with the bulls.
I must confess that I welcome this kind of action. Volume is still extremely low but it’s getting more exciting. Finally there’s some decent money a retail investor could make trading this whipsaw.
I grabbed a few hundred k more shares today. A few friends did the same. Our core investment will stay put but it’s awfully tempting to play around a bit as the KBLB story unfolds.
KBLB PRODUCING DRAGON SILK NOW!
I know you already know this, but maybe it’s a good time to remind everyone that the production ramp up for the vertical integration into the luxury clothing industry is ongoing. The BamBam trials are not the same thing.
I’m anxious to know the quantities being sent to Kings as they get ready for pre-launch. I believe that news is imminent.
Don’t know about everyone else, but I am happy there was no news today. Frequent news is great but predictable news is not. People get trained to expect news on a certain day and are disappointed when there is none.
It’s an invitation to traders and manipulators to know when to ply their trade. And it’s an excuse for people to cry foul when there is none. Some are very easily influenced and begin to believe the prophets of doom and gloom in as little as one day without news. Pavlov was right!
We know the general arc of the story already and it’s more bullish than it’s ever been. Let’s roll.
Interesting. This was published by FTTPL out of India.
“We are specialists in the manufacture, supply, and installation of Tensile Membrane Structures. Our work inspires. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding quality and design for leading clients across India.”

lol “plummets” all the way down to where we were 36 hours ago? Not so scary.
I don’t know if you knew this, but did you know that Kraig Labs is the ONLY company on earth that has manufactured a 25kg batch of recombinant spider silk and had it processed into finished, reeled raw silk?
All others either FAILED or quit trying!
Amazing that this tiny little company finally pulled it off. Sales coming this year.
“He intentionally is creating momentum so there must be something big that has already happened and will be announced shortly”
Agreed. Retirement coming early. Right now I’m hoisting up the John B’s sail. Heading for Nassau… stops in Margaritaville, Kokomo, & Shambala
There are many here who’ve been beating this horse for 10-15 years and it’s still not dead. In fact, it looks like it’s about to get up and run its finest race. We’re entitled to dream.
“$25 (unless I get in quickly) gets me a Lil Wayne Song. If you get the reference we can be friends.”
Means nothing to me. I’d tell your friend Wayne to learn how to spell.
No worries though, at $97 a share I can hire you AND little Wayne to work at my estate.
“Love the Amalfi Coast. That might be just the ticket!”
I’ve got Spanish down so it won’t be that big a leap to be conversational in Italian. I’d better get to work.
Augurami buona fortuna!
Right now I’d be thrilled just to get enough to quit doing my own yard work and snow removal.
Now THERE’S an interesting discussion! What price would it have to reach to make over a decade of watching this worth the wait?
For me… bare minimum 50 cents. That would make it over a 10 bagger. But I wouldn’t be thrilled only getting that.
Over $1 would comfortably put me in the “take this job and shove it” category.
Over $5 has me living in the Caribbean like a cartel boss.
Over $20 and I’ve got my own jet that takes me to my different homes in Cabo, French Riviera, & Amalfi coast.
Volume is lower than I expected so far. I guess we’ll see what happens as anticipation of tomorrow’s PR grows before close.
Anyone happen to know if Randy Lewis is the weasel that Kim is talking about here? Sure sounds like him.
Although, we would have him to thank for making it possible for us to invest.
…At that time the concept (transgenic silkworms) was so radical that traditional financing, including VC funding, was impossible. "I attended numerous meetings with VC's who would tell me that the concept was scientifically impossible. They would all quote the top scientist in the field who had created a list of five reasons why it just could not be done". Ultimately, Kim used his own money, with modest financial support from friends, to launch Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (KBLB). Approximately two years following that meager financing, the new company publicly announced the creation of the first transgenic silkworm producing recombinant spider silk. "Suddenly we had achieved what everyone said was impossible. Even the supposed expert in the field, whose public views had blocked us from finance, was eventually convinced by the power of the technology and switched over to using of silkworm in his laboratory.”
You’ll have to re-read.
I made nothing up. I said that only a complete idiot would be dumb enough to be long a stock and continually write posts that would compel others to sell.
Did you do that? I said I didn’t know. I also said Beast was responsible for his own decisions.
If you didn’t continually write posts that would make a long want to sell then you didn’t.
Don’t you stand to gain if the price goes up? Then I guess you wouldn’t be so stupid as to convince people to sell.
Feeling guilty ?
Great find. Missed it this morning. Thanks for sharing!
Can’t remember if this was posted or not
