is... wishing Americans would wake up before it is too late.

OK, whatever ...
Romney wasn't going to be the Republican candidate either, right? I mean, the media was pushing him from the get-go.
I hope you're right ... but I am not counting my chickens. I never thought he'd snow enough people last time to get elected.
What were you saying in June of 2008?
I hear ya, but this guy has been going against "Americans" for over three years now, and is still in contention for reelection.
How?
These days, who knows what the Senate might do?
So ... did you immediately go take a shower?
LOL
I honestly do not know. I imagine there are some sort of provisions for de-ratification, but it would probably have to be by the same body of legislators who ratified it to start with, (unless it is many years down the road). That's too late.
Mine too, now.
Gold star for ya, Walk!
You or me either ............
Won't take that long, in reality ....
There, I'm finished!
Can't say I recall any ...
But hopefully the senate would never ratify anything so stupid.
I say 'hopefully', because there is just so much happening I never thought would happen ..
Though I would not have believed it a few years ago, I now can say I am most definitely very concerned this is correct.
Come November, we have to turn out in force.
I think this is the same set of 'values' held and practiced by both the Obamas. The same 'values' they would dearly love to impose on the entire country.
We can not allow that to happen.
This is the America .... we have to preserve and protect from the likes of our current commander in chief.
Understand Obama can't just unilaterally enter into this ... but why would anyone of even semi-normal intelligence even consider it?
Don't they ship it loose, in boxes/cans/buckets, all the time?
I hav never herd of a round going off in shiping .. I did read somewhere a few days back about a round going off inside a suitcase on an airplane ..
I would have doubted this story actually .... would have figured they somehow had carelessly discharged a firearm in her purse and before anyone got there to check, had gotten it hidden or otherwise gotten it away from the scene.
Guess I better get more careful. I've never given a second thought to carrying loose ammo in a pocket, especially on the range, loose in a pocket before I loaded it into my mags.
Just seems to me it would take a pretty powerful blow to actually dent and set off a primer ... but, I now see it is apparently possible, and really not even that rare.
Been lucky so far. Won't push it any more, I guess.
Bullet explodes inside woman’s purse, shoots her leg
By Eric Pfeiffer | The Sideshow – 22 hrs ago...
A bullet mysteriously exploded inside a woman's purse (Dario Lopez-Mills/AP)A Pennsylvania woman was shot in the leg while shopping at a local department store on Tuesday. But in a nearly unbelievable twist, no gun was involved. Apparently, the woman was carrying the bullet in her purse, when it mysteriously exploded.
"She did not have a gun in her purse or on her," Montoursville Deputy Police Chief Jason Bentley told the Williamsport Sun-Gazette. Bentley said the woman, whose name has not been released to the public, "was not aware" she was carrying two or three bullets inside her purse at the time of the accident.
The 56-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital and was eventually discharged. In fact, the woman initially declined medical treatment, only heading to the Williamsport Regional Medical Center after her son reportedly encouraged her to do so.
"Something must of hit the primer of one of the bullets," Bentley said. "The bullet stayed in the purse, but its casing put a hole in the purse and caused a minor leg wound."
Bullets exploding outside of a gun are a rare occurrence but are not entirely unprecedented. In March, a bullet being used as evidence in a court case exploded in a bag and shot 20 feet across a courtroom. No one was hurt in the incident. It was surmised that the bullet exploded after its tip bounced against another bullet tip in the same evidence bag, according to the Telegram & Gazette.

Comments ladies and gentlemen?
Oh, yes, I think that is very safe to say ...
The number of ammo recalls ... as compared to food recalls .... is pretty frightening.
Wow, that's pretty rare, isn't it?
Indeed ... I am sure you have hit on something that is very true.
Liberals never forget a 'wrong' ... especially one that only they can perceive.
Just another case of the liberals trying to deflect attention from the real problem in the country - Obama.
Yep - it's a common bond .. and not affected by ages.
Good for you. Old "war stories' can be so entertaining .. LOL
I don't know if it is just ending here, or everywhere ... I hope not.
I lost my dad, another WWII vet, last year. He was drafted toward the end, and never had to go overseas, but he was another one - now gone.
I love cornering one of these old guys and getting them started on some of their stories. I could listen for hours.
We're losing our heritage, every day, as these guys cash in their chips.
I had checked on being an 'escort' for a veteran on one of these flights (escorts pay their own tickets) but learned this flight was the final one planned from Springfield, MO, and the previous two, as well as this one, were already filled with people wanting to serve as escorts on the waiting list. I was glad to hear that.... there are folks standing in line to pay their own way just to go to DC with one of these vets and assist them for the day.
This is a great program. I don't know if it is ending everywhere or just here in MO. Locals funded the costs of the flights for the veterans themselves, and maybe people were just reaching the point they couldn't fund any more. They made several from Springfield, and as I understand it, locals funded every single seat for every veteran on the fights. This was one program about which I never heard a single negative word, from anyone here, anywhere.
It was good these guys got to see 'their' memorial. But they themselves are the true American 'monuments' to WWII. We need to go to whatever length is necessary to show these vets we appreciate them.
Thanks for the great article.
Indeed ... all because of the crybaby liberals ..
Someone should pick that one up and run with it before November, just to remind everyone how much liberal immaturity costed the taxpayers..
Let 'em cry ... they had the same opportunity to raise money and support as did the republicans.
But of course, no one in the media will address that part ...
The libs can color this any way they want to .. but anyone even remotely sane would see it was a huge slap in the face to the liberal policies that have been taking over this country. People are tired, and when the natives get restless ....
And the same to you!!!!
They've been spinning it for the last two weeks ... they saw this one coming, like a freight train coming down the track.
(Tune: Folsum Prison Blues)
Oh, I hear the train a comin'
It's rollin' round the bend ....
Say goodby to Obama,
there's no way he can win ...
(Chorus)
Romney's movin to the white House,
along with wifey Anne ...
You'll find Obama's hope and change,
in the nearest garbage can.
Obama's time is finished,
It's back to Illinois,
Back there to Chicago
with all his good time boys ...
Repeat Chorus
I had to start wearing mine at about age 51 or so. Needed the "Walmart Special" readers about 7 - 8 years before that.
I can drive without them, but wouldn't want to in a 'strange' area, where I didn't know the roads .. would have fun reading some of the street signs, I'm sure.
Wouldn't it be just fantastic to send him packing with something like a 780% - 30% loss?
Looks like Walker is going to pull it out. That's gotta hurt the Dems, no matter what Debbie Wasserman Schultz might say.
Agree 110% ..... No one can whine like a bunch of liberal gun haters!
Oh, if only our leader could find it in himself to be even a quarter of the person this lady is ... but no, we have a blasted idiot who is the laughingstock of the world .... for myriad reasons.
Good article,. Enjoyed it.
Yep, the ol' gal still looks pretty feisty, doesn't she? I thought it was pretty cool shen she climbed up into that carriage - unassisted.
May she outlive Charles, and pass the crown on to William. At the rate she is going, that could well happen.
Long live the Queen!
Congrats walknmannv! That is an accomplishment. I've been fortunate enough to pass mine without my glasses so far, but don't know about the next one. Just had an eye check-up today, an deverything ws OK on the inside ... but I still have to wear my glasses for many things, and I hate them.
You'll be passing it without glasses at 95 ...
Nope ... just grumpy GP!
I can't be in agreement with anything or anyone!
I've decided since I am an old man, I'm going to act like one!
LOL
Well! I guess I'll have to try harder next time!
Good for the people and good for Mitt.
It's about time the sleeezebags got a dose of their own medicine, and hopefully there will be more. I would have loved to have been there and seen this first hand.
I hope Axelrod learned a lesson ... and I hope he has nightmares about being heckled!
I'd prefer to see both sides act in a civil manner, but hey, Romney is right. The libs pull this crap all the time and they needed a good counter-punch.
Go Mitt!!!!
I honestly don't think he knows how. If he does, he will still not do so, because he considers Romney and all conservatives to be undeserving of civil treatment. We're beneath him.
