If one spends its whole life on a board bashing all day, there is something wrong with such an existence. Will pass on any advice from such entities.

Can't blame Bolduc...no one wants to listen to you ;)
what happened to the BAA?
~ $37,745
Issue is that there are many posters here with the sole purpose of placing doubt in investors' minds. Not a big issue with the older investors, but you would be naive to think that people don't look at the posts. Even Glenn himself looks at these posts and has admitted as such. There is no problem with expressing opinions that have some basis. The prime example is a poster who purposely posted a misprinted story about an ETD order for a competing company likely to get people to sell and lower the sp for its own benefit...we should be a community with the goal of learning from each other...to me that person mentioned above is scum and karma is a bitch.

On what information or source is this opinion based? Or more likely is it baseless. Glenn made in no uncertain terms that 9/30/14 would be a sales opportunity. I am pretty sure the TSA knew when it would approve and planned accordingly. I am okay with opposing POV, but scare tactics and random WAG represented as an informed opinion I am not.

Thanks vintage,
I started investing in the company 2 years ago.
I must admit that it has been one of the most frustrating investments I have ever made.
I have been upset with management's handling of timelines and investors' expectations, but never stopped believing.
Thanks to b9, posthinki, entedance I hung in there and now the party is getting started.
Good luck to all.

None of this is going to matter next week.
BAA award due on Monday, likely IMSC will announce tsa contract shortly afterwards.
GLTA,
KB
Just looked on the OTC short report and about 50% of today's volume was shorted...what is the rationale for that and when we get the 20 million dollar contract or the deal with other arms of government or a deal with isreal or catsa...does that mean we will see a tremendous short covering...what am I missing?
Did someone just but 300000 shares?
Isn't it tomorrow?
Can you please elaborate what else it could be?
The nonsense continues...
GLTA,

What is the source.
It appears outdated.
GLTA,

The good thing is that Glenn has stopped talking and patting the company on the back. He is letting the sales do the talking. The shorts and rats have their days numbered here.
GLTA,

What was that tweet about.
KB
I was the one who told you that.
Your implication was that the company went and spent the resources to move into a bigger facility "to look like the big boys" without a plan...that is ridiculous!!! I am sure that they had spoken with TSA with a plan ahead. That plan was delayed for whatever reason, but now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. They did not go ahead with the move just to look like they are in the game, they had a plan all along.
Now to state that the company can withold a material event by holding off on writing a PR?...that's beyond ridiculous and moronic...in my opinion.
GLTA,

except this time we know that tsa fiscal year ends in september with plans of spending that money before then.
GLTA,

Winters, they received approval in 1/2013, qualification in 10/2013. Neither made a difference in sales as buyers have been waiting for complete qualification for both cargo and passenger.
GLTA,
KB
The difference is that the air cargo approval was only the start, whether the company witheld this caveat or not, it became evident that buyers wanted a complete green light from the TSA before buying- that is complete qualification for air cargo and passenger checkpoint. This is where I criticized Glenn for saying that there is no further roadblocks in air cargo with qualification, but there was indeed. All ETD for both air cargo and passenger is essentially on hold until implant sciences gets passenger qualification. That is the difference between the significance of air cargo and passenger qualification.
The company thinks that with TSA passenger qualification, not only will there be an uptick in both air cargo and passenger checkpoint sales. So don't count out air cargo sales yet.
You have been asked this question why are you still invested many a times and i think that is a legitimate question. I am frustrated with the timeline and company, but i still haven't sold a share because I KNOW that Implant Sciences WILL TAKE OVER THE ETD MARKET, that is why i am imvested. You on the other hand just have a vandetta.
GLTA,
KB
The last time the company got approval for just air cargo the stock was about 1.80. My guess is that the company would be only the 3rd company to get tsa qualification, the process is exceedingly difficult. I think that the sp will appreciate not only based on qualification, but also the size of the initial contract with TSA. The idea that the good news is already priced in is ludicrous. I do think that the street wants to know how much the TSA will be spending, if the initial contract is in the 15-20 million dollar range, these price levels will be a steal.
GLTA,
KB
Not as frustrated as those at Implant?
I beg to differ.
Glenn has a big paycheck and cheap options.
Sure he earned part of it, but given the performance thus far they don't deserve what they are giving to themselves.
They have less skin in this game than the average investor.
I am just letting off some steam.
GLTA,
KB
Thanks, I appreciate that.
I am not here to bash in any way.
Just hard for me to be on this board and have everyone stating the same opinion and making excuses for Glenn.
He has done some good things and turned the company around (i think).
The way he has handled investor expectations and given guidance is inexcusable.
I am just stating the obvious and feel that investors deserve more than "oops, I am sorry, our timeline is a little off."

Irish,
Thank you for your insight.
I was just expressing my thoughts out loud, didn't mean for the rats to come out of their holes.
I would give Bolduc benefit of the doubt, except he has made so many calls out of his rear end. I can't believe that any CEO can be that clueless with regards to timelines and can miss projections by as much as he has.
The thought is not to sue the company for being off on their timeline estimates. The foward looking statement does not protect the company from making what now seems to be estimates that are coming from left field. I suspect that Glenn would have to explain himself during a deposition as to why he made those estimates and based on the information he had were his projections reasonable. Many companies have been sued for misresprenting their financial state or prospects of business and thus misleading their investors base.
I just think that to think the foward looking statement disclaimer protects the company of any responsibility for what they tell investors is incorrect.

Vintagesake,
I wish that my strong sentiment was of the positive nature. So you ask why am i still invested? There are several reasons. The first and foremost being that I believe in the technology and story. The second being that I have waited 2 years with opportunity cost and refuse for either to be in vain.
The question I have is has the company been completely honest. I don't believe that Bolduc is that incompetant that his estimates are off by 9 months. His second hand man McGann has gone through the process before. My guess is that they have strung investors along.
So one would say, if they get TSA approval then all is forgiven. To a degree yes, but I still believe that Bolduc has misled investors to try to keep us invested and buy time for the process. So regardless of the outcome, looking into legal action against the company is not far fetched at all.
Just because one questions the company does not mean that he should not be invested. I think the company has done a lot of good and made progress, but I do not believe that Bolduc has been completely honest with investors.
GLTA,
KB
I am as optimistic and forgiving as one can get with this company, but i must say that i am disgusted with how the company has handled the timeline of events.
They thought it was going to happen in December. Then when I spoke to Glenn, he said worse case scenario is May-June. We are now in the middle of August.
It's going to happen, and per TSA, worse case scenario is end of September. Bolduc admitting to being horrible at guessing timelines is little consolation as there is an opportunity cost. If I did not 100% believe in the technology I would be long gone. One can ask if the mis guidance of investors by 3 quarters, about 9 months is indeed a failure of management to fulfill its fiduciary obligations. I would say yes.
GLTA,
KB
JUST CALLED IMPLANT SCIENCES...THE COMPANY SAW THE RELEASE THE SAME TIME WE DID. The company has not been contacted or made aware of any legal action.
GLTA,

The lawsuit is for POSSIBLE breaches of Fiduciary Duty by the board. This does not mean that there was any wrongdoing, just that some law firm is possibly trying to make money. The alert was put out see if they can gather information from investors. I'm a glad someone is letting the company know that someone is watching. Could all the times that management were off on timelines considered a breach of Fiduciary Duty? At any rate, I would like to see the company get on the QPL and rid itself of all this nonsense.
GLTA,
KB
That's pretty impressive to be next to coca cola, citigroup, mastercard...etc.
Tick...tick...tick, we are almost there, champagne and buffalo burgers to celebrate? LOL.
GLTA,

Both are jokers.
KB
Did I hit a nerve? I didn't say that it is "key," but it will be an upgrade at the very least. The government will take any advantage it can, but has to make sure to the best of its ability that it is getting the best product before it shells out tens to hundreds of millions of dollars, not just the TSA, but the other governmental agencies as well.
The purchase of ETD equipment has been placed on hold (not just in the US, but worldwide) until IMSC gets placed on QPL per Glenn...As such I believe that once IMSC has been placed on the QPL, we will see the flood gates open...makes this hold much easier than in the past.

TODAY MARKS THE 61st DAY SINCE END of OT&E
...tick, tick, tick.
GLTA,

A few months ago Bolduc issues himself some options based on some conditions...are these the same ones with the addition of a 20 million dollar share or additional ones leading to more dilution?
CNBC Headline:
US to implement enhanced security at overseas aiports
...tick...tick...tick.
GLTA,

Could the company be PR these announcements to stir excitement prior to release of big news?
Tired of waiting, but we are now about 35 days post OT&E...25 days left to wait at most?
GLTA,

A sale is a sale.
Of course we want to see larger numbers.
Not a negative, is it?
Keep the eye on the prize...that will be arriving soon.

OT & E ended at the end of may.
It is now beginning of july.
We are officially in the 30-60 day window period.

GLTA,

Tsa is not the only business in town! Glenn had stated that 2 other agencies are waiting to buy pending qpl! Air cargo sales are also dependent on qpl as customers are waiting to see more stability. Tsa qpl is the end all qualification and you will see a large domino effect per Glenn.
Of course given Glenn's history one had to take that with a grain of salt, but I do think the company will be fine.
I asked Glenn the same thing.
Daryl has the audacity to say "when you do great things in a region" the price point changes.
If he and Glenn think that current sales are adequate, we are in trouble.
Hope things change big time in the next couple of months.
GLTA,
KB
Well, although the stock price action is painful...
We know that we will get an answer by Sept at absolute latest.
Hopefully we get qualification in the july time period and can get some sales going before TSA.
Glenn did say that there are 2 agencies that are ready to purchase pending qualification.
GLTA,
KB
Apparently there is a training period before initiation of OT & E that does not count towards the 60 days.
OT & E ended at the end of May, at latest we will be on QPL by the end of July.
