OHHH HAPPPYYY DAYYY!!!
Sorry. I'm 34 and I used to use the yellow book in my teens and early 20s...
I know about it but I wasn't around for it. Didn't get in this until late summer last year. I am only going to look forward. But that's just me.
Exactly. Let's stop over exaggerating.
Granted I wasn't happy a week ago, was slowly losing my patience but...it happens. He was a week off with this...but it happened. IT HAPPENED.
Using google adwords and their algorithms is a pain in the butt if you ask me, and expensive.

What professional business wants to spend time and extra money always keeping up, trying to land on the first 2 pages?
That's why I think a lot of people will be using local sites like TD.com. IMO, businesses want to advertise online and are running out of options. This will be a nice new site for many Professionals.
Finally. Nice. Good. Wonderful. Super. Happy. SEEK.
Yep, my order hasn't been filled either.
Yep, I think one of the companies that uses this advertising company is Bob Evans, if you scroll through their portfolio you'll see. Anyway, it's not like it was done using Animoto lol. Yes, it was very professional. I feel better, and can now sleep well.
SEEK! :p
It definitely was a new ad by the company, they also had the image of the new website cover page in the commercial and letters typing away in the search box. I just don't know why it was taken down.
It started off with an old fashioned 50's type ad, person was using an old rotary phone, it began as a little "story book" tale if I remember correctly, then someone flipping and flipping through a yellow pages book and then it changed straight to modern day times, a woman using her cell phone and talking, what the company can offer you, millions of business, etc etc. and then "Blue...it's the new Yellow."
I'm sure it'll be linked to the investor site soon enough. I can breathe now.
I like the intro. Should grab a viewer's attention. Nice. Simple. To the point. I'm beginning to see the light again.
I don't think they told us the exact location but I believe someone figured it out....or a possible location they found on some real estate website, with an address. I'll see if I can find it out. If anyone remembers that post please show us the link. Thanks for offering rcc512. They said everything was already in the space, "ready to go" May 1st. The other location still needs work done.
Anyone here in Jersey? Care to take a walk past the office? I think someone posted a pic of it before, with the supposed address...pop your head in the window...you know, make sure it isn't a McDonald's or something. People keep saying call Scott call Scott...I've heard enough from him via these conference calls. And nothing. Yet.
As with many of you I'm very frustrated because I had nothing but positive thoughts for the future of this company but now I don't know. I'm not sure. Need to step back and focus, think. I think emotions are getting the best of us all at this point. a;ewfjds;lfjsfd;ldsjhg
So he can give me another "date"?
Obviously no one is ready over there. So I think the best bet is to get away from this and come back in 2-3 weeks. Otherwise we will all go crazy.
I WANT to be positive...I do....but..it's difficult at this point.
What complete BS to have a CC and talk about all these stupid timelines and then not follow through. I don't care anymore. I am not selling anything but I just don't care. Stepping away for a long time. I get missing a deadline or two, but come on. 3 weeks no commercial, whatever happened to a PR every 7 days? If he holds another conference call I'm not going to even bother listening in. I get deadlines can't be met at times, programmers are not following through on time, this and that, blah blah blah.....but why even say you'll throw out a PR every 7 days, and then not do it? Why even state it at all? Ehh whatever. Go SEEK. Blah.
Under Industry Overview (per news/amendment today)
"U.S. Online/Interactive/Digital advertising revenue is expected to increase from $21.2 billion in 2011 to $38.1 billion by 2016. Digital media is defined as advertising delivered to consumers through mobile, Internet or other electronic methods, and continues to gain traction with local advertisers."
Glad to invest in such a hot market. SEEK
No kidding. At least let us know how the Jersey call center is doing. Or if you're "in"
We are all frustrated...it happens. Hopefully not for much longer.
SEEK
Ehh, no..they need CS picking up right away not letting someone take messages and calling a potential business prospect back. I'm just trying to figure out how they will accomplish this. I mean obviously it will, since the call centers are in place it's just a matter of time before they get up and running. I just don't think the campaign is ready yet. IMO it will be another couple of weeks until we see that commercial. I'm still long, and have faith but think it still needs more time.
Well yes, online, but if people have questions or need to call customer service then what? What if they have billing issues/questions and want to speak to someone directly before purchasing a package plan for $300 per month?
What about the salespeople in the office that they are to hire and train to get more business in the door? I'm assuming first they would hire the call center employees, and work on the salespeople as operations begin?
Say we can view the commercial Monday (for example)...then seven days later it airs...so I'm assuming they will have to have people prepared as it begins to run? Not sure.
Jersey call center, May 1st. The other call center a date of June 1st was given. Just because they can "enter" the doors with a key doesn't mean it will be fully operating by those days.
What I don't understand is how they can run the campaign before June 1st...or before everything is in full operating mode in Jersey at least? Am I missing something?
Yes I know, saw that yesterday as well. Ehhh so what, the PPS is going down FOR NOW. The site isn't even finished and we haven't seen that commercial yet. It's obvious there will be one, why fix up the site and bother working on it at all? I get the whole timing issue and Scott always delaying things, but god, watching this every minute of every day doesn't help either. Just adds to impatience, bickering and negativity. I get people want their money NOW, but we will all have to wait more, won't we? And if not, being negative surely won't help load your pockets. And if you don't want to wait, just sell and find another stock. Isn't every investment a gamble to begin with? As if this is news. Soldier on my fellow seekers.
Has anyone even noticed they completely changed their contact us page??? Everyone take a breath and go for a walk! He stated 2-3 weeks, it hasn't been 3 weeks yet. The site is almost there! Chill.
Looks like they cleaned up the jobs section now. I checked it the other day and it still looked "off"...everything was too close together. Now it looks really nice. Very fresh/clean. They need to fix all these minor issues before announcing themselves nation wide.
Yellow pages is online too, but I don't believe this matters. Remember it's all a branding game. So what if there is another "directory" online. It's called competition. Which forces a company to get better, provide better service or a better product to lure those going to the competitor, to them. TD.com will establish themselves soon enough through the campaign and commercials. They will not only provide the service but offer an emotion to their business. Think about it. When you want to purchase soda...is there one particular "brand" that stands out? What about chips...or dip? How about a car? And I don't believe TD.com is done. This is just the beginning and they will continually grow, determine who their market is, add to their service/products, etc.
What makes one person attracted to one company over the other? IMO Commercials make a big difference. It's called Marketing/Advertising. It's there for a reason.
They said they will be posting the commercial on the .net site sooo....
I choose good news. :)
SEEK
I think it has been down all day. .Com is fine, looks like they may be fixing some minor things on that site, but .net hasn't been up all day. Not sure why. Today feels strange. It is definitely too quiet.
Looks like they are working on some minor edits and finishing touches on TD.com? I used to scroll down to get to the bottom of the page, now everything fits nicely on one page, no scrolling needed. Cleaning up and getting ready for the campaign I hope........
Good Morning everyone. I'm ready. I think. :)
TD.net is definitely down, I agree news will be here soon enough.
Hopefully we get to see the commercial sometime next week. I know the call center is opening its doors on May 1st per the CC, in Jersey. Not sure if the salespeople will be up and running but maybe the Admin side of things, and start up operations, etc. will be begin. But not sure.
SEEK
Good idea, lol. However, I really want to see this commercial already.
Not sure. Feels like news is here though...maybe later today?
Ok. I'm in. Hello everyone.
Looked up a zip code in Chicago, my hometown, most of the locations on the map showed Bank of America. Looked up a small location here in Maine, also Bank of America. This will be interesting.
TCHH
Yeh, I know :(
However, I remember in October it almost reached a penny within a couple of days. We are dropping (obviously) but I think if it turns around, when it turns around, it'll happen quickly. IMO. I really don't know what to say anymore.
Come onnnn trips...weeeee!! a;sldkfjasd;lfkjasd;lfkjsad;lkjds
Well, if they are a "competitor" they aren't much of one. Site looks cheap, with tacky advertising throughout. I clicked on the advertise with us section and came to a page that I would never give money to. So, I'm sure TD.com will have its competitors, but if they are the way the .org one is, we never have to worry. lol.
I actually think he stated that they will show us the commercial in about 2-3 weeks (one week ago)..."hopefully sooner"
You never know :)
At this rate I do hope it hits the trips so I can load up more shares.
SEEK
Thanks for posting this. I did NOT hear this yet. I'm really excited about the future of this company. I believe it just begins this year. With many more years of success going forward.
P.S. I don't have PM.
