Yellow pages is online too, but I don't believe this matters. Remember it's all a branding game. So what if there is another "directory" online. It's called competition. Which forces a company to get better, provide better service or a better product to lure those going to the competitor, to them. TD.com will establish themselves soon enough through the campaign and commercials. They will not only provide the service but offer an emotion to their business. Think about it. When you want to purchase soda...is there one particular "brand" that stands out? What about chips...or dip? How about a car? And I don't believe TD.com is done. This is just the beginning and they will continually grow, determine who their market is, add to their service/products, etc.

What makes one person attracted to one company over the other? IMO Commercials make a big difference. It's called Marketing/Advertising. It's there for a reason.
