Waiting for AD day. PD day would be nice but I think Rett Syndrome will get us to market first.
Waiting for Dr Missling to give meaningful updates at next week’s conference.
Once again the sell on any 20 cent pop theory seems to be in play.
Haven't you noticed yet? Every event is really just a non-event.
How low do we go today? A new 52 week low? That's my guess.

The medical system in this country has deteriorated so badly since profit became the number one driver.
Profit may be top on the list but other factors can’t be far behind. A doctor was fired after a 30 year career for speaking against the hospital’s position of endorsing an alternative lifestyle. Here is what sent this doctor packing:
“Health driven by ideology puts people at risk because we’re no longer talking about what is truly healthy, we’re talking about pushing a position that could be totally contrary to good health practices.”
Elon Musk is on board with psychedelics medicine:

Have you looked at the pharmacoeconomic potential of psychedelics to massively reduce the $2.5T cost of mental health? Wall Street is missing out.

Psychedelics and MDMA can make a real difference to mental health, especially for extreme depression and PTSD. We should take this seriously.
Plenty of reasons we should be, could be further along. Can’t reason this thing along.
There is a soon to be former ceo of one of the largest bio companies that will be looking for a new job. He may be in need of redemption after convincing the FDA to bring a non-performing drug to market but, beyond that, he has the skill to get it done, a skill that seems to be lacking in our current management team. To be clear, though, I would not want this dude as our ceo, maybe as a not very visible consultant could help us to move forward in a more meaningful and timely way. I am convinced we have a drug that will not only benefit many people with a variety of cns disease but also reward investors that have been here for many years. Just trying to be real.
With the overwhelming and increasing number of indications that A2-73 seems to address, why not apply a patent for all CNS disease. What can Dr Missling do to prompt the FDA to halt one of our clinical trials and grant conditional approval. Just trying to tweak my understanding of why Dr Missling hasn’t sought approval. My gut tells me we are getting close, very close.
Don’t worry. There will be plenty more opportunities.
And to the 22 Veterans that take their own lives every day. And to those, perhaps thousands or more, that die as a result of exposure to agent orange, including my brother, Bill, who died last year.
A new initiative too pave the way to allow companies to focus on excellence and to remove the pressuring to conform to top shareholder’s outside agendas::

It could even lower your risk of getting Alzheimer’s Disease in the future. It seems the benefits of Anavex 2-73 far outnumber the clinical trials to date. At one point, Dr Missling even said it may one day be taken like a daily vitamin. It baffles me why we have not presented our case to the FDA for conditional approval. Could Blackrock, State Street or Vanguard be putting the breaks on our ability to move forward?
Sounds like time for Operation Warp Speed 2.0 to put an end to the millions of deaths caused by Alzheimer’s Disease. Either WGT or WDGT.
Got a bump up on bell ringing. Hope it continues.
It’s 1 in 3 fail. That seems higher than 32%
Agreed. A partnership would afford a level of protection we don’t have now. Most partnership agreements include a clause that the surviving company, in the event of a third party takeover, would gain 100% ownership of the partnership drug thereby discouraging a takeover. It is somewhat risky for a small bio to go it alone.
In a strange kind of way, with bios inherent investment risk, Anavex seems to be the best place to be if the market crashes, IMO. Even if sp drops to 4 bucks, we still have our pipeline and near term catalysts. Seems like money in the bank to me. Oh! What if the science doesn’t pan out. It already has panned out in every single Clinical Trial that we ran. Time to put on the long pants and present our case to the FDA and show them WGT.

An amazing story. Hopefully Anavex 2-73 will play a key role in Autism

With biotechs down 65%, I try to give Dr Missling another pass but my Missling passbook is empty. He needs to step into a different role in this company and bring in a more qualified business leader to bring Anavex 2-73 to market. All of our clinical trials have succeeded. If Anavex 2-73 is the best thing since sliced bread, as we have, perhaps, been led to believe, we have an ethical responsibility to bring it to market. Dr Missling is in the wrong role in this company, IMVVVHO.
There’s more to Anavex 2-73 than testing. When is enough, enough?

It’s better than right around the corner or “tip of the iceberg.”
At least with our sp down so low, it presents a great opportunity to convert my 401K to Roth. A few months down he road, I am confident AVXL will be trading in multiples of today’s insane low sp.
Good job, Kentucky123.

I agree. Honesty and Integrity are high on the list. Maybe our medicines we will be able to help with other healthcare issues:

Baker Bros own 26% ACAD outstanding shares. I’m not convinced everything is black and white inside the FDA. It will be a sad day to see ACAD approval for Rett Syndrome, IMO. It seems Dr Missling wants to present crystal clear data showing unquestionable efficacy with minimal side effects to avoid any back rooom protocols that may or may not exist.
If the FDA does approve based on ACAD’s RSBQ score, that would support our filing now.
Seems to me Dr Missling is stuck in his own bubble. Why not file for Rett Syndrome with data we have now? Additional data, if required, is upcoming. Let the FDA make that call.
