Oh, and DeBry has close contacts in Cuba for researching the historical archives and there were just a few ships that sunk in Cuban waters (probably more than FL).
DeBry really hasn't been on board that long- he was involved with site 3 but not 1 and 2. He knows his stuff and is respected around the world. I have talked with him a few times and he is just a very impressive, nice guy.
Yep. Prelude to another announced site. I know the good Dr. DeBry has been busy doing more research.
I have been nibbling for shares at the lows. Not going to see these prices come summer. Wouldn't be surprised to see .015-.02 by then. 400% works for me.
OK, very windy in Tampa today. I can imagine east coast winds are worse so I doubt they'll have a chance to get out at least until mid week.
From what I hear it's chunks of wood and pieces of metal, either spikes or some other hardware from the ship. At least thats as much as they tell me. The experts say its old and similar to the kinds found at other colonial wrecks. Their visibility at the site sucks and that really slows the process. Not sure if its due to the type of material on the bottom, nearby passes which can add water with lots of silt or what. Absolutely a chamber of commerce day here in Tampa today. Died and gone to heaven type weather.
I was near Fort Lauderdale yesterday for work and it was very nice- didn't notice any wind but also didn't make it to the water.
Yes, fine Tampa side during the week but wind predictions on east coast are bad.
Yes, they believe site 3 is the Concepcion. And, it is believed to have had significant contraband. Propbably helped to sink the ship in the storm.
I had mentioned before; it's all wind dependent. Usually windy through end of March. Starts settling in April. They'll get out there when they can before then though.
Its all wind/wave height dependent and typically its windy through March. Starts getting into summertime patterns by April. Feels like summer here in Tampa today but there is wind.
Yes, the buying was a very good sign.
Thanks, watching now.
I'll take strong buying over a PR any day.
I'll take this upward lift into the new year. Here's to a great 2015 for all.
Sure hope so.
Maybe we'll get out of pinkyland.
At this point, I hope somebody out there knows something good and is buying up a storm at the ask. Their optimism and confidence gives me a bit of the same. Been a tough year pps wise. Expected so much more a year ago at this time.
Looks like someone spent their Christmas bonus on Seafarer stock. Glad the sellers are getting cleaned out finally.
Good to see.
Yep. Couldn't trade a large chunk of my position anyway. Not enough liquidity until this thing starts trading 10-20 mill/day regularly. Was hoping that would have started in summer but hoping for early 2015 (along with the pps back up to .04 or .05).
I trade it also and hold a bunch for long. Trade as much as the market liquidity and price points allow.
Also, eager to see the Cuba thaw and have sfrx pull up the billions that lay in Havana harbor. One of these days...
Yes sir. Been ready for the big run up for over 3 years. I figure a nice blurb on the news about finding the motherload on one of the missing 1715 ships should do it. Still think Kyle will get us to at least .15-.25 someday (higher would be great too).
Never thought anything less than a penny would look so good. Really doesn't take much $$$ to get us 'up where we belong' to borrow a Joe Cocker phase in honor of the man. That is, if other floks aren't so anxious to hand away their shares for next to nothing.
I guess somebody wanted some shares. Good to see.
.003's is a strong possibility; the extra 0 is what I hope is avoided.
Just hope its not .0003's
Not sure. Yes, it could go on for years.
Kyle had told me that the 20% is based on number of artifacts and not monetary value. Typically the items that they would want are the unique historical pieces and not necessarily gold, silver or gems which they have plenty of already up in the state archives.
Someone was kind enough to give me shares at .0044 yesterday. I am keeping a bucket out like the Salvation Army for all of these 'donations'. Merry Christmas all.
Realistically, the pps prior to any big find is irrelevant being that this would gap up 100's of percent at that point. Only concern with the pps at these levels is in case anyone wants out.
It's just folks who are tired of waiting or have received stock for services and are just liquidating. No reason for the pps to be here but also no compelling reason for massive buying (yet).
Yes, looking to pick up more but don't want to buy in the .005's if I can buy in the .004's or .003's (not sure how low this will go). I still agree that if the company is in the best position ever then why is the PPS at this level. Doesn't make sense unless there is more than meets the eye.
Happy Thanksgiving all! Question- Monday is 12/1 so does anyone expect tax loss selling then with buyback before end of the year or has most of it occured already?
Gregg, looks like its time to jump in on this one. Been watching for awhile since you mentioned it to me and now have some additional play money. Need another horse in a race because our other one seems stuck in the mud....
Yep, me too.
I think the important part of the chart is what happend is the Jan-Mar 2012 area. Poised to happen again. Way oversold here.
Good one.
And what would that be...
