Well I hope you get your run James. I don't believe there will be any run leading up to the court date. I also now believe Pfizer isn't going to settle anything out of court with Intellect. I think they will go to trial (which Intellect can't survive through) and If a judgement was made in Intellects favor I believe Pfizer would appeal it. The fact that Pfizer has continued phase 2 trials with Ponzeumab and Intellect hasn't been awarded anything speaks volumes to me.
lol..Fly..I don't work for anybody and do not manipulate this stock. The Officers of Intellect are the ones who have collapsed this company and its stock. I don't believe the stock will be sold for .03 to .05 either now. I believe the company is completely destroyed and I believe the price of the stock right now is close to the highest that it is going to go. Hate to be a downer, but thats the way it is headed. GLTY
Expecting to hit a another new low here this week, thinking somewhere in the .003 range.
I figured we would hit a new low sometime today. .0043..WOW, that was ugly! I think next week we head sub sub penny and then thats all folks...Oh well, we live to fight another day.
I think a new low will be hit today, sub sub penny will come soon after that if there isn't any news to stop it. If we go sub sub penny then that will be the point of no return and no one here will recoup any losses at all, except for a tax write off when you sell.
It would great for common shareholders if Chain came back, but I don't think there is a chance of that happening. Chains new company is about to start phase 3 trials on their compound which to me basically looks like it does what Chain was hoping RV03 could do. I don't think he would devote much time to Intellect if he did come back. The only way I see anybody getting some of their losses back here is for a complete sale of the company and hopefully that will happen before the o/s is completely diluted. Right now the only way this company is getting money for its day to day operations is for it to dump shares into the o/s.
I don't think you would be trying to destroy the company with any lawsuit. The company is already pretty much done. I am no expert in legal issues regarding lawsuits against businesses or their Officers but I do have a few friends who do have experience in this matter and are lawyers. I have recently spoken with one of them regarding Intellect and what has happened this past year with the company. He told me it would be a battle but you could go after Maza, Chain and anyone else involved with the financials of Intellect. He said first you would have to be dissolved of all shares and the company would have to have gone into bankruptcy or sold off for what would be a huge loss for the Plaintiff of the lawsuit. I showed him one of the prs where Chain is basically blaming the poor stock price on a few sellers of the company, and then shortly after that pr abruptly leaving the company and starting another, and then becoming a consultant for Intellect. I can't say what he exactly told me when he saw this, but needles to say it wasnt good.
Im not saying I plan to or even would seek legal action against anyone if any of these scenarios occurred at Intellect, but I wouldn't knock anyone for doing so. GLTA
So Deals...I take it you no longer believe there will be a buyout here for .25 to .65. Are you planning to sell and then start a lawsuit on Maza and the company?
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here...no matter what your price target for a buyout is..lol! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Deals, I understand your frustration with Maza and the company. Myself and probably alot of others on this board feel the same way, but having Maza resign right now (not that he is going to) wouldn't help the company. There would be no one left in the company to make sure reports got done, bills got paid...etc. I still believe that there will be a buyout here. I don't think EVLI was hired to find Intellect partners, I believe they were hired to find a buyer. Now I could be wrong with that and it could be Intellect and Chain are looking to keep whatever monies for themselves buy piecing the company out or Tencoin could be right about a merger with Chains new company...which would be a DISASTER for common shareholders of Intellect. Im sitting tight till it all plays out. GLTY
Looks like new lows are coming soon. I could be wrong but I believe this is the company dumping more shares. Come on Buyout!!
I can't see a merger with Cerespir happening, and I really hope it doesn't happen. Why is Intellect spending money on EVLI and giving money to Dr. Chain as a consultant to shop their company around only to merge with Chains new company? That makes absolutely no sense.
A merger could happen, but I don't think that would be beneficial for people who own this stock. I think Tencoin was talking about Intellect merging with Chains new company Cerespir. I really can't see that merger benefiting Intellect shareholders at all.
Anybody else besides me notice that each morning that the stock starts off going up with a 10,000 share buy that it goes down shortly after and finishes down for the day?
Reading that article it seems like that compound does what Dr. Chain hoped RV03 would do. Only that compound is going into phase 3 trials. After reading the article I am now totally convinced Chain will never return to Intellect. We need a buyout here, otherwise this stock is going to be sucked down a black hole.
What stock was that?
So I have to ask...what price are you expecting if there was a buyout?
Well I don't know if you have seen the news here about Bapi in 2012 but it didn't reach its endpoints. The good news is that both Bapi and Ponzeumab are conducting phase 2 trials again, but both they and everything else in Intellects pipeline are years if not a decade or better away from being approved by the FDA (If they are approved). OX1 that Viopharma is developing for FA is the closest thing Intellect has a piece of that could eventually get FDA approval. Although it is still just conducting Phase1b trials slated to start sometime in 2014. I really don't see where you see Intellect receiving FDA approval for anything by 2015, especially since they have no one steering the ship there.
Well I won't say exactly how many shares I own but it is definitely not a few million.. lol I don't put big money in any penny stock no matter how promising it looks. I learned my lesson in my early twenties when I put a large sum of money in a penny stock that I swore was going to make me rich and I would never have to work again. When the stock dropped I would buy more averaging down. Needless to say the stock wound up getting crushed to dust and the company went out of business. I hate to say this but if you put money in this stock before the 1:50 reverse split, there is no way you will see any of that money back in my opinion.
I gotta say that is some great DD you did there Cablejohn! Why would the company withhold this information?
lol. I don't believe this stock is going to make me wealthy even with a buyout. I think it could make me some nice money with the .03 to .05 price that I am looking for on a buyout though (I know everybody hates it when I post those numbers ..lol). I will be pulling for the rest of you though, hoping everybody makes what they expect to make.
lol...I think if there isn't any news this stock will definitely see .004s again and possibly lower. I can't buy another share, as much as I like the pipeline and the prospect of it being bought out, there is also a chance this company gets completely wiped out, sold off in pieces or files bk.
WOW! Who is selling these shares at .005?
Cablejohn...the report from June 2013 that you have provided the link to is on RV03? Just asking because I don't see it named specifically in the report.
I believe the TauC-3 data will be positive. Hey, is it just me or does it seem like RV03 has disappeared into thin air? Maza doesn't speak about it in any of the prs since Chain left. I know they started studies on it in April of 2012, and we have heard nothing of it since. Very surprising since the company was saying how that RV03 could be the way to arrest and possibly prevent alzheimers.
You still thinking the value of the portfolio and patents is 100 to 250 million Deals?
This really would be a Happy Thanksgiving if we get buyout news in the next three days.
My mistake Fly, it seemed like you were asking why Viopharma was being bought out for $50 a share. Deals...I can definitely see the O/S at least double from here, in the past two years there haven't been too many days or weeks when the trading volume has been very high, yet the O/S has gone up more then ten fold since the 1:50 reverse split in 2011 when there were fewer than 30 million shares outstanding and now there are 317 million outstanding. I still believe there will be a buyout here just like most on this message board, I just can't see any Big Pharma paying nearly 50 to 100 times the current value of the company though. I think if you bought shares at this level you could see 5 to 7 times what you put into it. I don't know about anybody else here but to me that is a huge return. I hope you do see that .25 to .65 Deals, you are definitely very knowledgeable about the company and its legal proceedings.
Fly, Shire is purchasing Viopharma because Viopharma is becoming a strong force in treatments for rare diseases. They have hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue coming in from drugs that are on the market already and are starting to grow greater revenues every quarter. They also have a number of drugs that are in clinical phases of development, and they have a small outstanding share count. The worst Shire could do with this buyout is eventually make back the money they spent on Viopharma in a few years, pretty much a very low risk buyout with huge upside potential. That is the reason Viopharma is being bought out for $50 a share.
Fly, .03 to .05 would be worth millions of dollars to major holders of Intellect. So for them that valuation is not pennies. Hell, I remember last April there was a poster on this board who claimed he owned over 23 million shares of Intellect and was buying more. You and I just disagree on what Intellect would receive if a buyout were to occur (If a buyout happens). I think Intellects pipeline is very strong and I agree it should be worth a lot more but like I said in my earlier post, Intellect has no leverage in negotiating a buyout in my opinion and I also believe The O/S is going to at least double here. GLTY
Deals, I totally agree with you in regards to CONJUMAB...the revenues from AMD are billions of dollars a year and it would be well worth it for any Big Pharma to invest in Intellects platform. Intelect has stated in quit a few of their prs in the past that several large pharma companies especially foreign ones have expressed great interest in CONJUMAB-A. The reason I give a .03 to .05 target is because I feel the O/S is going to rise a lot more and I don't feel Intellect has any leverage in any buyout negotiations.
Does anyone here think that Pfizer will appeal the decision if it is in fact favorable for Intellect? I can see Pfizer doing this. After thinking about all the news that I am waiting to hear from Intellect like TauC-3 data, Pfizer lawsuit, CONJUMAB-A partnership, RV03 update, I feel the only news that will do anything for the common shareholders is for a Big Pharma company to buyout Intellect. Now if Chain came back as CEO and some of these news items were to come to light then I could see shareholders benefiting from it. But like I stated before, I just don't see that happening. So here I sit waiting to hear if a buyout will occur, hoping for .03 to .05. GLTA
and back to .0075 lol.
Now lets hear some TauC-3 news...really interested in hearing about the data on this one!
I think our only hope at making any change with Intellect is with a buyout. With Dr. Chain gone and running a new company whos biotechnology is in the same space as Intellect, I don't see how he could come back. I believe the reason they hired EVLI was to sell the company, and I believe they hired Chain as a consultant so he could get some extra cash from the sale. I think if Intellect were planning to stick around they would have found a new CEO and Scientific officer by now. Im really hoping to see a sale of the company by the end of year between .03 and .05, and hopefully Intellect won't be pieced out like Maza is doing with Biozone. That would be a complete disaster for common shareholders of Intellect. GLTA
Lets have that 10Q
I have been trying to wrap my brain around why Dr. Chain would leave Intellect and start the company Cerespir. I know the company is taking the compound they got from Chiesi into phase 3, but why would he leave his lifes work at Intellect and start a new company instead of securing the compound for Intellect? Was it because he feels Intellects compounds are inferior to this compound and wanted to leave the company and its baggage? Or could it be something to do with the Pfizer trial, meaning that it wouldn't be smart for Intellect to make a case that Pfizer crippled the company financially while it still continued to buy other monoclonal antibodys. Hmmmm...
Gotcha Cable, I thought you were thinking arbitration was a good way to go for ILNS, my mistake. As for the people touting .40 to .80 or even $1 a share, I still think that is way out of the price Intellect will receive from any buyout. I see most of you are basing it on the 286 million share count. I believe the closer Intellect gets to a buyout (If there is one) that count is going up and probably already has since the 10K. Hey don't get me wrong, I hope for all of you that want that price get it and I will be the first to congratulate you. GLTA
The last thing any Intellect shareholder should want is for this case with Pfizer to go to binding arbitration. Binding arbitration is a very long process even if the case is a slam dunk for either side and the legal cost would be astronomical! Intellect couldn't afford binding arbitration. I still think the best thing that could happen is for Intellect to announce a little more good news and then a complete sale of the company for anywhere between .03 to .05.
While this wasn't the news I was hoping to hear, it still is very good news! Finally a news release that has some substance! Hope we see a little pop today!
