Wave also had agreements with PWC and the UK's NHS. I am not hearing any problems with these and the Chancellor is announcing major investment with the NHS on Wednesday. Are they using Wave products here?
Maybe we are looking at this the wrong way. Wave would/should be the catalyst behind the new operation of the internet so absolutely EVERYONE should buy the products from Wave. The new Intel or MSFT, perhaps? Has the countdown begun for this momentous introduction. I always wondered how Wave could supply the whole world with the products it developed so selling to these other companies might solve this problem. IMO.

Do we need Wave?
The offer of a lifetime Office for $29.97 is quite amazing - but it is the 2019 version and I suspect that a new Office may just have some other advantages that might surpass this product. We are still grappling with AI so we must benefit as much as possible from the benefits it can bring us but, as posted before, it may take 5 or 6 years to properly understand it properly so we must be careful. The TPM is in computers all over the world and it has been extensively tested - again and again - so I long for the day when we can all use it - through Wave - because Wave will have all the answers. My very first post said that "patience is a virtue" - but that the saying is wearing a bit thin with me!
Genz2 - I am not very up on the wheelings and dealings with the government's finances so I cannot help you with the US's gold sales but if he did flog a few gold bars to the UK, I trust that he gave a good discount!
That's an interesting post, Genz2! War all started from when the first caveman threw a punch at another. Man is clever so he improved upon his fighting skills until today. I hoped that with the EU and trade expanding around the world, people might twig that it is better to trade with each other than fight. But then there is the person who wants more now and will do anything to get it. If that person happens to run a country, he might act on his aims. I do not know if man can ever tame his desires for more and more so I am unsure that war will ever stop. Most charities use their funds diligently but there is always the exception. It's just the world we live in.

New TCG guidance creates low-cost attestation architecture to establish trust in devices

December 12, 2022 – Accurately attesting the integrity of a device without a Trusted Platform Model (TPM) has been made possible with the latest Device Identifier Composition Engine (DICE) specification from Trusted Computing Group (TCG).
By 2030, there is expected to be over 30 billion connected devices worldwide. With the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), complex architectures with challenging security and resource constraints will become commonplace, making an optimal security posture increasingly difficult to establish and maintain. A TPM can help overcome these issues, however not all devices leverage such technology.
To this end, the ‘DICE Endorsement Architecture for Devices’ specification from TCG provides a definitive guide to establish trust within systems and components with and without a TPM. It provides guidelines for devices to integrate cryptographically strong device identity, attest software and security policy, and assist in safely deploying and verifying software updates at near zero cost.
“The TPM is a vital tool for ensuring the integrity of a device, however the vast majority of devices being used across the world do not contain one”, said Chairman of the DICE Work Group, Dennis Mattoon. “With this new specification, manufacturers are provided the tools they need to provide the endorsements required to verify and attest the information received from a device and establish trust where previously it was difficult to do so.”
Anyone think that this might, now, be possibly getting political? US has a general election in November and the UK has an election when it is ready but sometime this year. Have we got to wait until October? The introduction of Wave might add a strong incentive to vote for the parties in power at the moment.

Microsoft’s Poor Security Practices
Last year in August, Microsoft was called out by Amit Yoran, the CEO of the cybersecurity company, Tenable, for its poor security measures. He called the company’s track record in terms of cybersecurity “even worse than you think”
Good to see you back on this board, unixguy. I am sure that Google is using the TPM in their Passkey so I think business is slowly increasing usage of the TPM, hopefully through Wave, so I am just waiting for the day when the TPM is fully used. I have been on this board (and the many previous boards) since around the turn of the century.
I have always distrusted facial recognition for proof of identity. Many pictures of faces crowd the internet so the only way to make that form of identity acceptable may be to make the face take some different poses there and then online - but that would probably be faked by the criminals, too. Wave is needed NOW!
