The funny thing is, when I first started learning about charts and got a subscription to stockcharts I couldn't figure out why you wouldn't want to turn off log scale. It seemed more natural to me but, the more stuff I read and since the default setting in stockcharts was log scale on, I just figured what the hell did I know.

There it's settled, LOG SCALE OFF!!!

Hey bud, I'm kind of a closet geek lol. Snap a pic of that badboy. I've never even heard of a Falcon computer.

I would imagine we would all be better chartists if we had learned to draw them by hand. I learned mechanical drafting by hand and some people now a days don't even know what a protractor and compass are. When the computer does all the work for you you are not nearly as intimate with drawings or charts imo.

My next question about log scale off is: If it makes certain patterns unreliable on one or the other log scale settings? For instance, a cup and handle might not really be a cup and handle with log scale on.

I don't know if I'm making and sense or not lol.

I guess I could ask low but, I'll ask you. What's his beef with log scale on? He really goes against the grain with that. Not saying he's wrong or anything just saying every book or article I've read uses log scale on.

Hey cp. If you want a good read head on over to the sthg board and start reading the aftermath of the massive pump and dump they just went through today. This is why it's called stinky pinky land bud. You can learn a lot without loosing your own money.

No you can't tell who's following you. You also can't tell who others are following. You can see how many followers you have by clicking on your profile pic. And going to the about tab.

Cp, it let's you follow people and will let you know of any new posts they make on any board. You can also see any old posts all the way back to their 1st one. When you follow people they will be listed underneath the boards you are following in your favorites. the idea is to follow certain traders you like and learn from them by seeing what they are up to.

I finally had a chance to soak up all the info in your posts. If you get a chance, check out BFHJ. This exact accumulation pattern you are referring to must be going on here. The price has been relatively flat for quite a while and the CMF looks like a mountain goat would have trouble climbing this thing. Would this be some darkside action about to go down?
