Viper is listed as their authorized reseller. First I have heard about this. Anybody know anything else.

Viper stated that their wireless division, which excludes BSNL, had recurring revenues of around $300,000.
http://www.reuters.com/article/2010/11/15/idUS138338+15-Nov-2010+BW20101115
I am stating that these "revenues" would not show up on a US profit and loss statement for tax purposes. The sales would show up in Bahrain and the profit (or loss) would be taxed in Bahrain. Assuming a profit, the after tax profit would only be taxed a second time in the US if it was repatriated.
The filings that Viper has shown recently do not show these sales. I do not know how international companies account for their subsidiaries in their filings, however I do know that they would not include the revenues and profits or losses on a US accounting for US tax purposes.
Perhaps somebody with an accounting background could explain where it would show up.
You are welcome. I have been with Viper for a long time and watched over the years. For full disclosure, I have only bought, never sold, and just recently added.
Sagan is right to be careful. My hope is that Farid and his team actually take this company to where it belongs, as a growing functional business. He, his family, friends are all in it financially. The employees, many of which have taken shares, are either working just for shares or a mix.
This shows me they are in Viper to win. If this was not the case, I would have taken a tax loss years ago. On the other hand, it has been a long wait. Hope we are at the point of the Tsunami of good news and profits.
Sagan, don't forget that their Bahrain sub. is reporting recurring revenue. I do not think these revenues would be reported on the US accounts.
The Bahrain sub. would have its own P&L and pay taxes there. Unless Viper repatriates any profits, it would not show up on the US P&L.
Can't say if they are or not purchasing shares, however we can all see an enormous increase in shares being traded. Last year we seemed to have days where no shares were traded. Now we have been as high as 50 or so million on a more regular basis.
Here is the link to where they said they would buy back shares.
The company realizes its capital structure is a mess (over 1 BILLION shares issued and outstanding) and he does NOT want to do a reverse split. It is his hope that with the cash flow from the BSNL relationship, he can do a buyback of stock instead.
http://blog.macroaxis.com/2011/01/25/still-waiting-for-the-tsunami…-a-look-at-vper/
Can't say that this is what is happening, however Viper has stated that they would buy back shares to improve the capital structure.
The higher volumes did start before the recent news, so either some people in the know, have been accumulating, or Viper might be getting sufficient cash flow out of the BSNL venture to do what they said.
In any case, increased volume is good.
With a bit of luck, viper is buying back shares.
An awareness push is one aspect, however I believe, based upon their press release in Dec., that they will update us with more good news in the first quarter.
We know their sub. in Bahrain started to produce regular sales, they sought (perhaps unsuccessfully) to acquire very large office space to support sales for all divisions.
This all indicates to me that the staff are enthusiastic and confident of moving viper forward.
As a long, I would like to see my money back, but would much prefer that viper grows to what I originally thought. Viper, being one of the first voip companies out there had/has the potential to grow to the tsunami we all hope for.
I know it has been tough as we see the water recede and don't see any coming back, but the greater the pull back the bigger the wave. That said, if the water just disappears, I am okay with it. Farid and team have their funds in this to the end. That gives me comfort in knowing that the employees and owners believe in what they are doing.
volume now at 36 million. 1:30 pm Interesting how there is over 8 million being bid and only 5000 in ask.
Looks like those that sold at these levels are gone. Wait until the pennies to consider selling
I doubt it. They are far more likely to leave that to a separate update. Since they stated that there will be many more updates coming, I feel optimistic we can see some good share price movement in the positive.
Any reasonable news should put us back in the pennies.
Volume is over 8 million at 10:26 a.m. Not sure why large bids are being filled at lower prices.
At least viper is doing what they say and getting the news out there. They will have good updates over the next few months if they keep this up.
There are 2.5 bids for every asks at this time. Smart asks would raise their price.
LOL. It better, the last time I had small kids and wanted to buy AOL. Instead I bought a $5,000 horse for my daughter. That 5 grand would have been worth over $5 million. Not to worry, my daughter is a great rider and now turned prosecutor. One proud dad.
Go vper, now it is Dad's turn.
I have been a shareholder for longer than I can remember. Probably over 8 years now.
Nice to see that we are now making news on CNBC
http://www.cnbc.com/id/45815158
Go vper!
Sagan, I agree, however trying to look at the positive, don't forget that cirilium web site now shows as Viper. I would imagine we are making progress on the calling card front.
I also found it interesting that "nutjob" posted his post #2572 on the day he signed up. He indicated that 2012 would be good for shareholders and to hang tight.
That complements the following statement just released.
The management at Viper Networks would like to encourage all VPER shareholders and potential investors to follow the Company closely in early 2012 since key developments may warrant immediate release of additional news announcements.
Nobody will get my shares at .002.
How about .20
here is the link to the interview.
http://business.feedfury.com/content/45555079-tsunami-alert-on-viper-networks-vper.html)?
with a bit of luck, it is the start of vper buying back shares as Farid indicated in the tsunami interview.
let's see if it holds over time.
Nice volume today with larger orders.
Any ideas as to why they would have $2 million in accounts receivable and only $500,000 is sales. Also, where are all the sales from the Saudi sub?
Interesting. I wonder if this means that they have finalized the acquisition. They seemed to go back and forward with wording such as partnership and acquisition.
"Nutjob".
I have owned Viper for 7 or more years. I note that you just joined Investorshub and appreciate your comments. Nearly sounds like you know Viper very well.
I won't sell my shares at these pathetic levels and hope to be royally rewarded for investing as much as I have over time. Hope Viper can start showing some progress as I would hate to have to wait a year without some news. How about a shareholders update.
Just to clarify, I was not implying there was a reverse merger. Sorry if this was not clear.
Reverse Merger. With nearly $20 million in losses, I am a little surprised somebody doesn't take over Viper and use the losses to offset future taxes on a profitable business.
Nice to see that we have achieved more regular volume over the past week. Hope this indicates we will finally get a shareholder update.
Well, looks like viper is trying to get their act together with the OTC.
Looks favorable in my opinion. Get all the docs. up to date and then let us know what is really happening.
Mobile, Sagan is right that Viper Holdings is not us, however why would the link you provided show the site listed as vipernetworks.com if it was Viper Holdings?
At one time, Viper was in South Africa. The .za designation.
I found several companies listed as Viper Holdings, from FL, the one Sagan found to one in Vancouver as well as others. None of which I could link to us.
There is also a UK company called Viper Networks, so we should be careful not to confuse that with us.
Well, as we sit and wait, it is exciting to see somebody sold 11 cents worth of shares yesterday. Must be the guy who sells at .0019 and buys at .001 after, of course selling his 11 cents worth at .001.
Interesting, but not conclusive. If I recall correctly, vper bought Farid's company that I believe was located, in part, in Boston. Of course, vper, was originally based in CA.
At the following link, you can see Viper Holding just raised $121 million.
I can't say it is us, however the connections with MA and CA lead me to believe it is worth investigating further.
http://www.investorscopes.com/Viper-Holdings-Corp/D-A/11230616.aspx
Great find Mobile.
Some time ago I read about Viper holdings in regard to a patent law suit. I am fairly sure it is vper but will need to see if I can find more.
Not sure what happened to my post this morning, however it is not shown.
In any case, thanks for the info.
Hope this is an indication that vper will finally let us know what is going on.
Okay, I am a little slow this afternoon. PS must mean pinksheets.
As for limited, they do state there is limited information on vper. LOL
Of course it seems to be getting better. A little like O'bummer saying he would have a transparent admin.
Sagan,
Sorry for my ignorance.
What is PS and is an upgrade to "limited" significant?
In 2008, they had $6.9 million in computer expenses.
I have assumed that these were investments in the voip infrasture for BSNL.
In one press release Farid said he was personally involved in making this work correctly.
I like the fact that his family's money, his money and the other key employees money is on the line and they continue to pursue the effort. Without that, I would be out of here.
I am disappointed with the reported results, especially if they include foreign operations, which they might not.
Hopefully we are in for a pleasant surprise, and they report continued $300,000 monthly out of the Saudi sub and progress with BSNL.
I can't imagine the office complex would have negotiated a deal based upon these reported numbers.
I guess there is still hope.
Anybody have any ideas as to whether their foreign sales might not appear on their US accounts.
Just a thought, which would explain the low first half numbers. If they were not lying to us about the Saudi subsidiary, that alone was generating recurring revenues of $300,000 per month.
If you look at the news section just above the messages, there is a link for more news on vper. Click that and it lists all the news.
Investopedia explains Additional Paid In Capital
For example, assume that a company issues 1 million shares with a par value of $50 per share. When the shares are purchased by investors, however, they pay $70 per share - a premium of $20 over par value. When the capital received from this issue is recorded, $50 million ($50*1 million) will be allocated to a share capital or paid-in-capital account. The excess $20 million ($20*1 million) will be allocated to the contributed surplus account as additional paid-in-capital.

Well, I will answer my own question. Although it is a quarterly report, they reported the first six months. Nuts!
I hope we get a shareholders letter soon. They have a lot of explaining to do.
Why do they have over $2 million in accounts receivable? How does that relate to the low sales?
What about the wireless division. Is this included? That would have had about a million is sales for the 4th Q and another for the 1st.
Why don't we have the 1st quarter financials if we have the 2nd?
In other news; the Company’s Communications and Wireless Services division based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has now booked over $2,000,000 (USD) in business for the initial six month period, which ended March 31, 2011. Further financials can be expected as the Company’s accounting firm completes the 2010 fiscal end year for submission to the OTC Markets.
Too bad we don't see continued volume. I would like to see 25 million plus days, which might indicate the vper is buying back shares and generating good cashflow.
