I've violated my every rule on asset allocation with ONMC. This will truly be a uh, er, life-changer one way or the other. Weeeeee. Ok, that one felt like it was starting to work.
Sidney? Where you been grrrrl?
Yep, I can't answer my phone, or sign onto my yahoo page, or Schwab for fear I'll see what's happening and I'll start hallucinating divorce attorneys at the door. That's just great.
Now that was funny! Let me try it... weeeeeeee. Nope it didn't work for me either. lol
The meeting wasn't going to do anything for us other than to prostitute our shares for cheap to some fat-cats to earn some reciprocal favors- IMO. We don't need 'em! Get the symbol change, get us material announcements. I personally don't care if they have a meeting or not. But... they should have told us the minute they canceled and I will not be convinced otherwise. It would have been the professional way to handle it.
Ok, Ranger... yes, when the predictions/news comes through, you're right, I think it's great. When they cancel 5 times, I'm right. Is that fair? I do appreciate it when they tell us stuff, and I also hate it when it doesn't happen. Repeatedly. Doesn't sound too unreasonable does it?
I'm stuck in the same boat having to explain to my peeps about this last cancellation. The story is getting old about these canceled meetings. I too wish they hadn't said anything about it... how do you spell whipsaw?
If I you cancel a doctor's appointment, you better call 'em, otherwise you will get charged for the visit anyway. We are about to get charged. Also, isn't it just plain old etiquette to inform someone you're not going to make a meeting, especially if you said you'd be there?
Good! I hope they stop telling us things that might sorta kinda happen (5 times now!), and that they go quiet until they know these things I like to call facts. They do a lot better when they actually know 'em, as I think they have come through on all of their factual info. and yes, for that I am grateful. But, they should put away the dice and stick to the Jack Webb approach of "just the facts ma'am". Also, if they're doing deals behind closed doors, just tell us when you're done guys, don't preview it 5 #$&* times!
Excuse me... what's this thinking like they're doing us a favor here by telling us anything. WE OWN THIS COMPANY!!! Did you not read MTP's stating that the company has rescheduled like 5 times! Hello?
Look, if a company is going to PR a meeting is on, they should PR it's off. Seems simple enough. Again, I don't believe it is material to the underlying ONMC story at all, and in that I do believe and will hold long despite the mm's walk down tomorrow morning. I'm just not gonna watch it happen.
That's mostly true, however we aren't the only ones setting deadlines. The Co. missed one because of the NAZ bureaucracy, the other was weather. Sure, it's not their fault in either case but let's give the investors a break too. The Pinks are a scary place... to deny that is naivete', and to not be concerned in this part of town will get your portfolio shot up real good.
I agree... it's immaterial to the big picture, it's just gonna hurt until they bust out the PR's and this kind of thing gives nay-sayers lots of ammo.
Now that I do agree with... that the meeting is rather immaterial to symbol change and PR's. I hope the NAZ gets their act together quick!
From someone who can sit on their investment for a year? Yeah, great post... why not hold every investor to your standards? We're all one big monolithic group with the same goals and motives right? Not.
With all due respect Wally, it is not relevant to ask who would've sold on Fri. if the delay had been announced. The issue is that they informed a bunch of maybe investors on Fri., they should've informed us real ones too.
I think ONMC owes us a PR. As Nietzsche said- "Hope is the worst of evils, for it prolongs the torments of man. "
I agree, EDS should have had the decency to inform those who have already made a commitment to this company instead of showing loyalty to possible big money. It's plain and simple pandering to cash. I'm still long because I believe this is immaterial to the symbol change and subsequent PR's, but I think this is going to hurt us tomorrow.
Nice license plates Blue. AG #1 Wife changer!
That's true Leigh... also, isn't it almost insane that a large number of people would all have to be in on a bizarre "conspiracy" to defraud the public for this whole Aquagold story to be the house of cards which some are espousing? Let's also remember that we're talking about the risk of jail-time and huge restitution fines if they actually were doing this alleged shell-game that some people would have us believe. It's just ridiculous.
Manuel Da Silva- CEO Aquagold and all other corp. officers
Steven Weiss- Eric David & Sons and now AG IR, plus his staff who have vetted this company and "examined contracts, financials, etc."
Iriquois Water folks who said they were working with AG
* And... (please name some more folks- help me board)
Minister of Tourism posing at AG show in Shanghai
Former Canadian Olympian (gold medalist)
Also, the Shanghai show pictures would all have to be Photoshop™ images as well as the close-ups of the AG bottles of water... and shots of the giant shipments at the plant on pallets.
Now, you have the choice to believe that everybody involved would risk their reps, jail-time, and way of making a living on a scam or one could believe... (drum roll please) that Canada has a bunch of water- a lot of it is frozen, pure, 40,000 year-old glacial spring water, and that China needs it because they industrialized really fast and forgot to take care of the environment. As I like to say... my niece would quote "Like, duh"
In a nutshell, that's it. People should always take risk into account when investing... it is an integral part of risk versus reward. But, it is clearly so much harder to believe that this is not what it is, and such pristine logic to see that it is what it seems. To be less, it would involve so many credible individuals destroying themselves that it is convoluted at best, and utterly beyond absurd at worst.
Caveat Emptor
The Dow just crashed through 12k... going the wrong direction. That's the center ring of this circus, not us. The meeting will probably still be going on when the trading day is over. I declare that Happy Hour starts early... relax.
#1 Wife Changer!
Good point, I think vodka and tonic is a good morning cocktail. I'm gonna wait until 9 or 10 for that, but the cigars have already started. Today will no doubt generate good things in NYC for new investors.
Whiskey and cigar? Uh, hey Bob... it's only 7 am dude, I'd save those 'til after lunch! lol
Good morning ONMCer's! I have no expectations today. I have no questions about how many days it's been since filing, and I have no doubts about Steve or Manuel or the company's plans. I have only hopes for a good meeting with the NY investors, perhaps a symbol change announcement and maybe a PR, but it's probably next week. I hope our resident bashers and fans alike regard today with similar restraint. If so, you won't be disappointed as the major markets spiral down the tube. GLTA!
I just love those 7's... the other day I saw one of your trades just cripple whatever evil plans the mm's had in store for us. I think it stunned 'em. Anyway, the trade executed and the day turned up and never looked back, I don't remember the day... maybe like Mon. I thought those 7's were magic... still do. Thanks.
Nice email, well documented. Great work. Maybe that will quiet the "10 days" people.
I thought that was your original signature order, sir. Were all of those 7's yours, or do we have somebody committing copycat crimes here? Well anyway, thanks for your contributions to the board's, er, uh... cardiac health. lol
I love those trip 7's... I just don't know who to thank.
Yes we did... those lucky 777's... that's style.
JJ thanks for the EOD paint sir!!! I'd recognize those 777's anywhere. You da man!
Well, bureaucracy exists in the private and public sectors... they are paper-pushers regardless. Tomorrow is the tenth business day and we have a large consortium of investors meeting with our IR guy. That spells good news for me.
Bedwetters and pantywaists. lol
It isn't absurd it's taking this long... it's called bureaucracy my friend. Try to get a passport renewal via snail mail... that's absurd. This is just investor impatience, but everyone has the right to be wrong.
Boy you aren't kiddin'... the mm's sure want some cheap shares. I tried to pick up some of those ultra-cheapies and couldn't get in, came back fast. Oh well, time to slap the ask.
There will certainly be some kind of squeeze goin' on cuz it doesn't look like anybody here is sellin' much of anything. Holding on to my shares like they're gold.
I've got to say it... holding onto our modest gains like this, on almost zero volume, is a sign of awesome tenacity on the part of we shareholders.
Let's give us all a big round of applause for knowing what we have here, keeping the faith, and not being shaken out by bashers, mm manipulation, or the waiting period for symbol change and PR's.
We have an incredibly galvanized base of long and very strong people here holding onto their shares. {{{clap, clap, clap}}} Congratulations to us all, we shall be rewarded very soon for our grit down here in the trenches.
OMG... there hasn't been a post in over 8 hours. Wassup?
Thanks Big... great job, I'll check it out.
