any suggestions on nsm options? i bought $20 January options today.
also end of 1st 1/2 of year...consummation of deal 2nd half of year...aka next week
that's because the mouse is down in the hole and has no concept of a sinking ship...ridiculous
well jerry, as we all already know, the law is at times selectively applied or miss-applied. there have been recent hearings where this has been clearly evidenced. Yeah, we have laws...depending on who you are. not opinion, fact.
yes they are...when are you gonna start using them. if this thing was headed anywhere close to the direction you keep talking about, there would at this point be huge and growing short interest.
yup..and never changes regardless of new information released
I thought that was Rosen who said that.
thanks for the update
I intend on selling enough to recoup my initial investment and then let it ride.
Agree 100%. I just don't think they want a bunch of retail interest for that very reason. That's likely the reason they we're reaching out to large retail shareholders...insure there aren't gonna be any hiccups. I have holdings at different brokers, but compared to what others on this board have indicated, very small. jmo
agree, but releasing it isn't due to an algorithm.
I think they are trying to scare people off, but it was a global rating. I also noticed an article by Kirsten Grind about Kerry Killinger who no doubt will make a fortune here as well as anyone he knows.jmo
anyone notice that yesterday S&P GR assigned WMIH a B+ rating: outlook negative?
..this is a one time event as next year there will be no Nationstar meeting, only WMIH. Also, it's the last day of the quarter.
that's a good point...acquiring companies usually initially drop in share price.
to give you the opportunity to buy more shares...i'm waiting for it to go under a buck
and there probably isn't really an investigation either
isn't this the same firm that was fishing for a lead plaintiff back when the proposed deal was first announced?
so you don't figure they already have the nod from the majority of nsm stakeholders considering the majority are institutions? I do.
there you go, that's what I was looking for. are there restrictions on how they can be applied or no?
huh? I was asking about wmih and nols.
would nsm/wmih have a limitation on how quickly to utilize the nols? just trying to figure out how long till we'd be trading at or near the level that nsm is trading today.
mattchew from yesterday
"I'll bite...what is Part B."
Part b is the retained assets, as stated in court, that can be carried through the BK. Those assets belong to the former shareholders and the reorganized WMI.
Part b is the assets of the Debtors in Possession!
The "certain assets" transferred to the LT do not include Part b!
If Part b were transferred to the LT, that would be a violation of the APR!
... until ya start singing, then everyone wishes they were speakers and not phones
...and hand grenades
anyone notice that business media hasn't been doing any reporting on the WMIH/NSM deal. it's a pretty big deal even without the broke-ass wmih Buying the thriving nsm? they're still putting their hands over their eyes and saying you can't see me.jmo
anybody have any idea when wmih preferred shares will be available for public purchase? WHHMP. I was playing around and placed a small order and TDA accepted it.
thanks, appreciate the breakdown.
thanks, just curious.
HM I noticed you changed your signature, does that mean you've adjusted your 2-10bn return to the end?
well, everything is in fact a valuable life experience, but I certainly wouldn't consider getting shut out an ok outcome. whatever happens with the estate was in the cards for the releasers in March 2012 and now we're just waiting...no one here is gonna lose any more with regard to their escrow markers than they already have, right. jmo
not even if zero is the return?
so why the additional 3.5 billion shares? that also flies in the face of common sense..imo there's a lot we don't know, none of us. must be something really big.
that silence speaks for itsself
..i actually thought that the other day but figured it get removed. but we all already saw it, and it WAS funny. I guess some people lack a sense of humor. sad
thanks, just how much the does the asset listing(3.1a) not being filed, have to do with the current ongoing discussion on this board regarding actual estate value? also, is the asset listing required to be shown in the public filings?
I'll bite...what is Part B.
yeah, I do know the difference between authorized and outstanding. ones there to trade and the other is there to dilute what you trade whenever necessary or favorable to the voting shares.
thanks for the correction. I missed that post. I'm pretty much good with what I have and waiting is not a problem, so I don't read every post. I try to catch up periodically. thanks again.
