So... lets review for a second.
One of the prominent theories discussed here is short covering ahead of anticipated news. Another works in tandem with that is sellers that are being shaken out of the stock, so to speak.
Those together would obviously drive the price down as few of us are actively buying. Some of us are, but i would say that most of us are holding what we got.
Now, what is the way ahead? The question that keeps poking into my mind is are these bidders that are now having their orders filled longterm holders like us, or are they short-term or scalpers? We have already established that the ask is kind of thin, though we don't really know how many shares are offered at each price point by each MM because of the 5k limit in what is shown. So these bidders of today may be offers of tomorrow until the PR breaks.
