welcome back cyber. any good tidbits for us to speculate on?
thanks bylo, it's good to know that weo's out their supporting this wonderful stock. could you find some more examples of this so i can thank those attempting to help my investments. thanks weo
eschrine
OT - i agree with mano. thanks for putting the time and effort into explaining the feelings of quite a few of us here. weo also made an observation which is sadly very true. raging bull is now a more civil board than this.
i certainly like the deals they've signed better (at this point) also but once again, if fats is so great why does their share price continue to drop with all these announced deals. are they a speculative company? do they have products which are better than those virtra has? i know why i'm invested in virtra and why i support the company. i continue to be confused as to why you take your time posting your negative spin on everything virtra does. fats may appear to be better off as do alot of other comanies at this point, but i want nothing to do with investing in them.
i'm out
bylo,
stock popped and then dropped over 50% to where it is now. did you find out how much debt they have? if i remember right their stock didn't pop immediately following the conversion but after they announced a few lucrative deals with long time customers.
bylo,
maybe you could post how much debt fats is dealing with. if i remember right they also did a debt conversion this year and still have around 40 million in debt. this is part of the reason why they bring in 80 million (as you stated) and have a small profit margin to show for this.
you can say virtra has been in business since 93 if you'd like but in reality it's only been since the merger of ferris and gamecom that they've had the business plan they currently follow. then again you know how to read so know all of this even though you choose to give it a negative spin. go support your buddies over on the fats board. they get two or three posts on a good day. they could use your knowledge and loyalty.
why do you think fats can release a three million deal and the stock price goes down?
bylo,
fats has been around for 20 years or so. of course they're established. have you checked their debt or # of shares? those that would like to hold virtra to the supposed same standards as an established company should buy some shares and spend their days on their discussion board.
have to agree. that's why i'm here and have been for 4 plus years. it will happen.
6 cents a share during the 4th quarter. more evidence of the up and coming status of virtra.

like i said in my post. there's alot to be booked upon delivery and with new orders in the pipe continued revenue is coming. this is a start up company.
what's with all the negativity? fats presently has a PE ratio of 13.9 -- at virtra's .03 per share in earnings that would put its price at almost .42 -- must i remind all the naysayers that virtra remains a speculative stock. the recent 10k certainly provides for much to speculate about, but it's not all negative. i'm excited about the fact that only 4 of twentynine systems have been installed. as paul, bylo and a few others have reminded us, revenue is not booked until orders are filled. with verbal committments and budgeted future purchases added in it looks like quite a bit of revenue yet to be booked.
school house rock! it's been years
couldn't agree with you more. i especially like your choice of words to get your point across!
true he may not. i just found it interesting that the amounts i highlighted would be directly applied to training and nearly half of the 10.8 billion increase (from the 4.8 percent overall increase, i assume)is targeted for training. while he may not get all of this he will get some. also, with the current makeup of the house and senate i find it difficult to believe that he won't get what he wants. and no, i don't know what last years training amount was. good question though.
Bush to seek $419.3 billion for defense
And he would allocate $9.5 billion for homeland security activities next year, in addition to $147.8 billion for training, maintenance and other “readiness” programs.
More than half the total defense increase — $10.8 billion — would be for training, maintenance and other costs associated with keeping the military ready for action.

cyber,
i've been keeping an eye on your posts for a few years now and have to admit that your clues, among many other factors (how much money can i spend without the wife blowing a gasket)has helped in prompting me to buy more shares. i was very pleased yesterday when news of the possible marine deal surfaced. i bought another 4000 shares on last weeks usmc post alone. keep the clues coming.
eschrine
thanks gggrryhound,
while it's not fun watching the stock price decline, it sure seems aparent that the focus is on building the company. I can, and am willing to wait as long as it takes for that life changing deal to occur. in the meantime a 139 single screen sale should also put us on the map.
my son just asked me if i'd sell all my shares if the right deal came along. i told him i'd sell some but i enjoy the anticipation of future events too much to not hang on to a few. i'm looking forward to many more years (in addition to the 5 i've already been one)as a vtsi shareholder.
thanks again ghound you've made a dreary football-less wisconsin saturday quite enjoyable.
eschrine
you just couldn't get through your post without finding something wrong. i do have to say that i've seen alot cheesier sales videos or commercials for that matter.
it's nice to hear from the general. the video really lays it all out. much more impressive than our critics will wish to admit. i was totally unaware of the 4g's ability to switch from a 360 degree environment to a flat marksmanship trainer in a matter of minutes. i was also led to believe, from discussion on this board, that our systems weren't portable. it appears from the video that they are. i hope everyone has the opportunity to view the video.
new IVR 4G video on the website quite impressive
thanks for the info andy, as minimal as it is. even with knowing that good things will eventually happen it's good to get these little teasers to keep the interest levels up.
can the home teams win today? i'm heading out the door for green bay right now. hoping to scrounge a ticket for a reasonable price. GO PACK!!!
the difference i see in the environments, you link to, is the portability of the virtra system. in browsing the i/itsec site this appeared to be one of the issues military trainers are concerned with. by the way, thanks for providing the links. i was aware of some of these systems but hadn't seen them
thanks for the clarification. would have been disappointed for virtra to be used in a story without being identified.
check out this link I found over on raging bull. there's an article which doesn't name names but includes a picture which very well could be virtra's new system.
Defensetech.org
what kind of bullschitt post is this? get over to raging bull
has anyone else noticed that the DOD has been added to the About Virtra section. this is the first time i've seen it.

can't remember if kelly specified training units or immersa dome units. we know the general price of the IVR 360. how much is an immersa dome going for?
eschrine
couldn't agree with you more domen. i now remember kelly slipping in the part about the Immersa Domes and the us army. can you remember the time frame for getting off the otcbb?
thanks, eschrine
Future sales in two countries shareholders aren't aware of yet. anticipated move to Amex or smallcap. debt converted to equity within 6 months. anticipated 100 unit sales to US military. sounds great! will the debt conversion lead to dilution? it has to. Kelly used the words "100 unit sales". if this was one 100 unit sale the word "sales" would not have been used. listened to the interview twice. although the sound was bad I'm pretty sure I got it right.
thanks greg for the well supported response. why no release yet on the delisting? also wondering why the closing price yesterday on the berlin exchange was listed at .27 any ideas?
eschrine
greg, could you please give a bit more detail as to why you think this could help the stock price. i've always looked forward to your opinions. noticed you don't give them too often anymore. thanks, eschrine
have to agree with gggrryhound. when cyber shows up something good happens. have to admit i'm not very good with riddles. give us another clue.
so what does one of these new systems cost?
CNN - WOW - "Truely Amazing simulator" - "Every department should have one" - what else needs to be said
The Techlive show tonight was quite a bit more in depth than the show i saw a few weeks ago which alluded to a cool simulator with multi-sensory stimulation but never named the company. Tonight the name was mentioned quite often and displayed on the screen for most of the piece. There were some great shots from inside the simulator with one of the hosts running through a couple of the scenarios. At one point the host remarked "oh, it reacts to what you're doing"(or something close to that. going from memory here.) Tunnel vision was also discussed while showing someone using one of our competitors' simulators. I thought this was quite effective. In my opinion, of all the media coverage VIRTRA has received, this piece was by far the best and the one I think new investors should view.
other than mispronouncing the name of the company, and also spelling it wrong on the inset when kelly was talking, that fox 11 story was some of the best coverage a company could receive. while there were some neat gadgets, the product everyone was talking about was that 360 degree simulator.
the shows' name is Tech Live. if you go to techtv.com then click on Tech live in the left hand column you can read about the show. i forgot to mention the porn for cell phone segment. they lost their signal right when it came on. and i was worried i'd miss the trexpo segment. now i wish i would have. i could then be fantasizing about it............................the trexpo segment.
eschrine
doug, it was part of a half hour show on new and cool stuff. wish i knew the name of the show but it all happened so fast that i didn't take time to look it up. maybe i can do that now. the intro talked about trexpo so i figured this was the big story. the jokes on me. alot of it was a bunch of fluff. the host and hostesses of the show were introducing numerous unique products from all over the place. they would show the product with some video of it in action and then say something goofy about it. some of the names of the products were visible but not intentionally. TREXPO was just a small part of the program. the product at trexpo that got the most coverage was a protective suit designed to withstand blows from an assailant. it was quite bulky. one of the ditzy hostesses put it on and was knocked around by a blackbelt. of course she giggled through the whole thing. not sure what else i can tell you. hope marketwatch has a different slant.
eschrine
wow! that had to be some of the lamest coverage we could have gotten. after video of numerous products (night vision, bulletproof underware, body protection for practice fighting, etc.) the announcer said "there was also a training simulator with smell, vibration and in 360 degrees". that's it! no name! no picture! how depressing.
trexpo highlights upcoming on tech tv. just saw it as i was surfing. sorry but i have no details
