i agree with you there. if this was great news with bcnd having to file with the sec you would think that something would have leaked or at least increased buying from "unknown" buyers. lack of bid is not a good sign. but since all we can do is wait and see i choose guarded optomism

A PR regarding divvies....expectation that the divvies will also match with PR re:news.....and each time NOTHING...

As has been stated by at least one other person, to offer signficantly less than the original $500K for a building "as-is" does not take a long time to work through...
1) Call seller
2) State new offer
3) Seller says "ok" or "go to he**"
Pretty straight-forward, IMO, so since Brian PR'd that they quoted a lower price, my guess is that it was because the seller said "yes". I mean, we are now basically in April and they have been "negotiating" this deal for 3 months. It just can't be that complicated, even with the zoning and other issues.

As far as my post, I stated the list that the company has historically talked about and said myself let's see if they PR anything regarding any of them...I did not "speculate" what they would PR.
I have no idea what, if anything, they will PR...and pumping or speculating has gotten us nowhere over the past year or so...

1) I have spoken to the township and they are not moving forward with anything, at least they weren't a few months ago.
2) All evidence, including newspaper articls, state that BCND owns the property.
So, show some evidence that both those points are no longer valid. Otherwise your insinuations are without merit...

There is speculation regarding what is going on...and no facts.
What I can say is that they historically had commented that they were not going to mess with the share structure and now, all of a sudden, they have done the exact opposite. Of course back then our concern was that they were going to dilute, which they didn't.
While I have concerns about the r/s I actually like it only because they could have diluted MUCH more and then done an r/s to make quick money.... a common practice...
That they are r/s-ing at 3B shares, by no means a small number of shares, gives me hope that a real business reason is why it is happening....

That is actually something from a long time ago.
They had a website and then one day this site appeared....from there, they de-activated the bcnd board, twitter, etc. and went dark.....
This is, sorry to say, not news....
So, we have $1,521,000 in cash by my math. Well, let's add an additional $500,000 that they may have elsewhere and we have $2,021,000.
Cost of warehouse: $800,000 (warehouse + repairs)
Cost of denamis: $1,000,000 (with install)
That leaves us with at best $200,000 for operations....
Everyone comfortable that is sufficient to get the company off the ground?? I am not....
Hope not.....but we all know that is likely....

All other properties are speculation...per your statement.
For what it is worth....even if the bricks and steel are worthless...they have a property there that could generate revenue.
They have assets that are potential money-makers...
The question is, do they have the will to do something. I think that everyone's frustration here is that they haven't shown the will to do something. We all see the potentia or we wouldn't be here...right?

I am not going to assume that he is stalling, bs-ing, etc. I am going to take what the PR stated as the truth, for the sake of these questions.
"The Committee passed a motion to approve a counter offer of $175,000.00 "as is" for the purchase of the foreclosed property. The Company is moving forward on this premise."
1) When did they give the counter-offer? Was the "as is" offer accepted?
2) Are they no longer looking at other warehouse options?
3) Case was won! Great, now what? Wait for them to give us our money?? Does this mean there never was a $5M loan? If that is the case, how does BEEN feel getting 20% of the business for $1M when that is not the real value of the company?
4) Why now? Why post this now, days before the divys? Is he setting us up for a divy PR that states warehouse purchased at new price, etc.?? We all know his policy of telling us about things that are MONTHS old....
They exist...the BOD members do exist. Whether or not they are qualified, etc., I have no idea and also no idea as to what influence they have over Brian. I know that they read the message boards, at least periodically....

I still believe that there is something here....there is potential, assets, that can be realized, maybe not as originally intended, but there is value and considering the purchase cost, profit would be relatively easy to obtain....
but we shall wait and see....

Most importantly, to the nay-sayers, who are all being quiet on this topic, this shows that Brian was doing the right thing, that he is trying to do the right thing for the company.
A man's past is not the sole predicter of future behaviour/actions. It is a reasonable guide, but I think all of us have done things in our past, perhaps not-so-distant past, that we would not like to be defined by.
I am hopeful that the mistakes that Brian has made (and have been posted on the board only a thousand times) are not the only things that define him...

as i interpret your post, the company won its case, that Mulvana must return the escrowmoney and recant his counter-claims.
Now, stepping back a little, IMO, the reason that warehouse deal has been put on hold has been because Brian knew that this court issue was coming to a close. I would guess that he is trying to work the deal so that he can get the $5,000,000 not the escrow money. Without the $5,000,000 how does Brian prove to BEEN that their $1,000,000 investment is equal to 20% of the company's value??
Also, without the $5,000,000 I would think that the purchasing plan (warehouse, equipment, etc.) would look different..that is a significant difference in funds!!!
I hope we get the $5M...that would solve a lot and say a lot about the company...!
