and what smell would the resultant diesel have? fishy? We could call it fisel, the ultimate bio diesel LMAO
the catalyst it's easy to copy, what goes inside is the secret trademark that will never be patented, the same way, for example, coke ingreedients are not trademarked otherwise we would have today many brands of japonese or chinese cokes selling for a fraction of the original coke
buenokite, look at the 8k, it reflects the current financials of both trtn and javaco combined
and who told you the advertisement is in south america? look at the other domk business and why they needed 10 million in ads. Maybe the advertisement is needed for something else other then tapes, p2o or electronics.....stay tuned
correct, another profit source and the connections to expand P2O to south america.
ask yourself why is domk selling their major revenue/profit producer and why they are now trading at 10 cents, down from $1 just a month ago. If you find the answer you might figure why is this such a good deal for trtn
Raw, from the DD I've done, most tires are shredded so they don't take much space in landfills. Some are used for sport complexes surface, but most are land filled. At any time there are currently in the US something like 240 million tires waiting to be properly disposed.
The US consumes something like 200 million tires/year. In Mass we already pay $8/tire to dispose them, I assume other states have similar charges.
I'm not commenting on potencial market or revenues for trtn, but who ever dominates it, it will be big.
stumiller, recycling plastic (or tires) is not as easy as it might seem. In fact the american plastic association has declared they are not using any post consumer resines (aka recycled). I posted that link here a few month ago. Recycled plastic use is limited to road signs and like applications, mostly because of color that can not be removed. There has been an effort to generate resines that decompose faster in the ground (less then 500 years, sic) but are still far from being widely accepted and may never be a viable solution as sun is always required to break it down. Tires are a different story. They are shredded so they don't take as much space in landfills, used to pave sports complex or just burned. At any time there are 240 million used tires in the US alone in storage (piles), waiting to be shredded or used (most shredded).
Mustang66, there are 3 P2O processes (i believe a pdf was posted in here detailing the cons and pros of each). The catalystic process does not required pre wash of plastic. The energy required (heating the plastic to a certain melting temperature) is achieved via the plastic generated gas. So it's energy free as well. This is all well known in the industry. The catch has been the chemical process. This is where trtn has an advantage.
10q players on otc as nasdaq and nyse alike normally get hurt. A 5 month old growing company executing the business plan can not be expected to surprise, in particular when the numbers on the merger 8k were already speled out for anyone to read them. Surprise footnotes is another story. Common in the pinkies, but ilegal in a real company, just ask the sec. Any material event must be 8k. The 10Q reflects those 8k in a single place. This quarter 10q will be unknown until is filed
Numbers, or expectations, drive markets.
Moore was the accountant from the shell. Some people here have even raised issues about him that I will not comment. He announced he was retiring just a few days before the filing was due and recommended another firm owned by an old nevada state rep that according to filings on other companies have replace them in the past. It turns out that for whatever reason they did not deliver on time. John is commited to transparency and that would not work.
no, check the names and the dates
I know, I was just stating the coke has never released their secret ingredients
bearluver, do you know what goes into Coke (or Pepsi)? No, it's the most guarded secret in the world (well, after roswell ). What John has stated is that he will file for the process patent while keeping the chemical ingredients, temperatures, etc a secret. This is the reason behind the chemical company purchase.
and it will take longer then the current ~10 minutes (yes, the process has been improved from 2 weeks ago) it takes to process 1 kilo
techisbest, the company will file the 14C with the name change right after the 10Q. The shareholders meeting should also be in the 14C. The date is scheduled by the auditors and we currently have no info on that. Once the LOI stuff is finished, John is also planning in doing a con call to keep all investors and analysts up to date. Not sure if Katie is able to give you any more info but you can always call her.
from the last PR and it looks like it was overlooked: "...including a large auto manufacturer in Windsor, Canada... "
d2006s, i recommend you call John. His phone number is on the filings. You can also call Katie in IR and she can pass the info along to him
Nightroads, you have to go back to my old posts. My opinions are now sealed by the SEC
that's fine. If you notice I no longer post trader stuff or opinions. I can't tell you, even if it's rumored elsewhere, who the quemical company is or new tape contracts, if any, the company has signed. Just sticking to the same info anyone can get from IR or clarify what IR may have said. Still I'm not an IR person and my visits to this board during daytime hours will be substancially reduced starting this friday. My personal opinion about the company and John in particular have already been stated prior to my employment and anyone that wants to know what they are they'll have to go back and read my old posts.
I am employed by the company as a software engineer in the cambridge office. Until the office has all the basics (this friday) like phone, internet, etc, I'm working from home. If I see something in here that needs clarification I normally run it by John to determine if it's appropriate and not post any insider info. In this particular instance the info was given by Katie (our current IR person) and left a few questions in the air that needed more detail. I'm sure Katie will now give any caller the same info I posted here. I'm not IR and just trying to help out. I started this board along with Zar before I was invited to work with the company, so I'm an early investor as well (wishing I had more money)
the chinese has a turn around of 2 weeks and can produce 40 per month. The longer time is in transit, that seems to take over 1 month between ship and truck
we are in negotiations with an operator in ny and it might make sense to install first unit there, there are benefits to our site and one other location. In the end john believes it is best to build the first processor on a flatbed so we can move, show and tune with a variety of expertise, like our mobile tape container. There is a lot of interest for site installs and we can build the unit anywhere. John wants to maximize profit and flexibility first.
keep dreaming LOL
noo paarkin caaars in caaambrige LOL
and the processing time is 2 hours, or 2 * 4/shift = 60 metric tons = 60 thousand liters/shift or 16 thousand galons/shift
1L is the prototype. The bigger machines coming from china are 15 metric tons, or something around 33 thousand pounds
everyone in this board (old timers at least) know that I started working in the cambridge office last week. Along with Zar, we were the first 2 people here and I co-mod the board with him. I stopped posting, except for situations that need clarification or PR/filings post. In this case prophet was raising the issue of filing delays being an everyday occurrence in other otc/pinky companies. That needed to be clarified as I believe this company is not one of those. The info I provided is no more or less what one would get by calling IR. The material event is just that, something that justified the 10Q to be delayed. If it is good or bad I can't tell you, that would be illegal, but you can go back to the company PRs/filings and guess on possible scenarios, both good and bad.
material events is often mentioned in IR communication with shareholders, but I'm not a IR person
i don't think so. the market was already closed and mentioning a material event will have no implications on trading
you will see on monday the reason for the delay and you will forget and forgive
phrantic, as a personal opinion, whenever i invest in a company i tend to stay away from those that PR sales in third world countries, simply because they are hard to verify. It's also strange a company complaining about the cost of filing with the SEC as a reason to stay in the pinkies (heard that too many times)
guys, first of all the Q is not delayed, second it has been ready to file for a few days, but there are material events now that have taken a bit longer ( a few days) to finalize (and are now final) and will influence the 10Q. This is why it has been held a couple of days. I can not tell you when John will file, but I can tell you that will be before the due date of 8/15 (a week from today) right after the material events are reported. This has happen after an accountant family member passed away last week, so when the 10Q was only ready this week, the material event was coming to conclusion and wouldn't make any sense to file first and PR the material event right after. What happen this week is IMHO huge and everyone is going to be surprised of the scope I wish I could say more but I can't, but the way she traded today seemed like some info has been leaking
i see. just got home now
smelling like roses? you serious? do you want me to smell like roses? LMAO
those questions should be directed to John.
guz, those tapes will now be heading to cambridge. The mobile unit is for those customers that don't want the tapes to leave their site.
swb, the 10q people has been talking is the one due on 8/15. Even though we still about 2 weeks away, i think people will soon understand why last quarter 10q is yet to be filed
lol, not that big
