PP, then if it makes you feel better, view it at 35,000,000 w a pps of $1.60.... keep the focus on the asset and its potential. jmo
jtf
Maybe they're in a "quiet" period.... jmo
jtf
Depends on what definition one uses; My understanding is:
1. Electrical, water, leaks, bugs and the like have been going on for a month or so.
2. Dry run w/o ore.... 2 weeks
3. Wet run with low grade ore to "prime" the mill... 1 week
4. Low ton runs w better grade ore.... yesterday?
5. Full production w revenues??? VERY SOON...imo
jtf
Gauge measuring flow of slurry.
No, a friend took these pictures yesterday and a few days earlier.
jtf
Ore/slurry in thickening tank
More slurry into thickening tank
Slurry discharge coming out the end of the ball mill
Ball mill spinning w ore.
Ground ore gravity fed into mill conyeror belts
Mill is operational w ore!!
More like an Open House. Tough crowd... shareholders screaming for a grand opending and when they have it they scream it was to early and question mgt motives... whatever.
jtf
First off, I'm not an insider nor have I been compensated for anything I've posted or said about the company and I stated very early on that I have a vested interest to see the stock go up?? Duh, don't you?? if you truly are a shareholder... whatever. You constantly slam anyone who speaks well of the company yet you can't take the same heat or allow them the same courtesy of their opinion like we give you.... in addition you give MD no recognition or credit for what he's accomplished only his missteps in a whinning pathethic manner. Good luck, you are on ignore until you post something of revelence to discuss.
jtf
I smell consentrate.... 'bout this time next week would be nice...

No production = no "revenues" ; fire sale price is .05 - .10(maybe more) IMO.
jtf
Thanks, I agree w your assessments.
What P/E are you using in your assumption?
OT:
Are u there all 4 days? I'm there Sat & Sun. Let's get together. I'll be wearing my lucky white or black BMW hat. Maybe striped long sleeve shirt, plaid shorts and black socks...not really...
jtf
B and F18, I'll be there in person. Do you need anything from the clubhouse??! Hopefully CPRK moves up the next few days so I can buy a few things.. :)
jtf
Arnold, ..."this says it ALL"? I respectfully disagree; that' not the ENTIRE story here..
jtf
It has been made clear that CPRK is in dicussions w various options for LT financing. Tough climate for lending, but imo its a matter of when, not if. Getting the mill online would be a huge step towards finalizing loan.
jtf
Nothing; dropped due to LT financing discussions...
jtf
E, unless they are nearly finished w raising capital (secured some kind of LT financing) and a buyback of shares is wanted at below value. imo
jtf
Fair enough, but I think I was clear in that he had the right to scream and yell which I'm ok with...but if one expresses their views, either way, please just get the stated story straight. BTW, if you think I was rude then did you send ABi an email stating the same as he said mgt had half a brain? Maybe thats not rude iyo
F18, what p/e ratio are you using?
jtf
Maybe you should run the deal... I'm sure you have more than a half a brain.
Abi, for someone who supposedly sold on the next first uptick, you seem to still be hanging around...yelling about stuff. I guess thats your right. However, if you are going to comment could you at least try to get some of the facts straight??
Based on the SLTrib article here's a couple of points:
1. I din't read anywhere in the article that mgt is still dumping shrs... yes they have them and they will be used to complete the project. Duh... What else are they supposed to do? Thats what stock is for. Maybe we should stop selling stock so shareholders are not diluted and then have the project fold... yeah right.
2. You stated no specific timetable for mill? Well the article quoted Dave Jensen, mill project manager, and he stated 2 -4 weeks. I guess not specific enought for someone who doesn't own the stock. I do own, and thats specific enough for me.
3. You state a poster said the mill still needs a big set of balls or something?? Do you actually know whats going on?? Dude, they have the ball charge which is one of the last pieces needed and it wasn't needed until now!! Unless you want everything to show up at the start and sit outside until needed... btw, you might want to consider a course on cash flow.
4. Lack of financing? Gee, that's news!! Anyone involved in this from the beginning knows that!! Actually, imo we have had financing; interim financing and stock capital. Not perferred but still none the less got us where we are today. Oh and the article did say they are in discussions w LT financing. Why didn't you mention that?
5. No buyers for concetrate?? I read they are talking to several potential buyers... not a problem imo but you sure seem to think so.
What you failed to scream about in your post was all the positives: county commissioner-"its a great project"; CPRK approaching county for industrial rev bonds; ocean of copper; the amount of copper per day; the incredible task of 20 years of work combining 27 ownership copper claims; not to mention the 12 deposits (imo, MAJOR deposits)... and others...
Keep up the great "slant" of news articles....kinda the half full half empty analogy.... btw, what is your intent here?? Kinda obvious...
jtf
X, good luck. Your post was well written and your views/position are understandable. CPRK does have some work to do still... hopefully they can perform and the pps should follow.
jtf
Web, just curious, what indication / evidence would you see or be present IF nss was happening w this stock?
jtf
RR, I happen to know something about taxes and this might be splitting hairs, but technically "net income" is taxable after all expenses and applying carry forward losses but prior to paying dividends (thus the double taxation position of C corps). You probably were saying the same thing... eye's post's are spot on regarding the sale of assets (might or might not be taxable)
jtf
E, had you and others not responded I was about too.
jtf
I was going to call the prior pictures "the dry" run but I think "the wet" run would be more appropriate. CPRK is really close now...I heard chemical re-agents and the steel balls for the ball mills have arrived.
jtf
AB, many posts have said just that over the past 10 months. BTW, I thought you sold on the first uptick on Monday?? I'm with ya on the fact that production/execution of the biz plan will ultimately rule at the end of the day in regards to the pps.
jtf
...and if CM is not getting paid cash, that doesn't change the value of the project; billions in copper and millions & millions in potential profits is always what I've focused in on. jmo
jtf
B, here's my response to your questions
1. See post from FFF
2. Yes
3. Yes, WB and others, to include pre-merger CPRK have interesting backgrounds. But the real story now is Western Utah Copper which was private until merger. There's two stories/companies here...old and new...Officially MD fired WB and Lindale and do not like that business approach or their alledged monkey business. The merger was only to raise additional funds to invest in the mill/project. Even though WB might still have shares, i for one, am glad he's gone.
4. I don't know but will ask. If you are accurate on past dealings that would concern me.
5. DNews stated MILL value not market cap.
Yes, other mining stocks have done well the past 3 months due to metal pricing recovery etc. CPRK hasn't for obvious reasons... not in production, no revenues, or profits, pinkie. CPRK should'nt go up. But there is a very stark potential of a 10-20 bagger vs other established mining companies IF CPRK can start production and report revenue and profits. CPRK is a high risk, high reward proposition....I think they can imo. others might not.
jtf.
H2O, AMEN!!! Hallelujah!! I know this, the company is optimistic (good thing) and vendors are unreliable (bad thing); finally I guarantee you this - the company didn't expect or purposely want these delays. Keep in mind this project was a steel framed structure approx Sept07. We are 1 1/2 years into a $100m project... I'm ok (frustrated at times) but patient....others won't be...and I'm ok w that too. Both opinions won't make any difference when the project finally fires up.
jtf
nhguy, very interesting observations and theory.. I will pass it along.
